45 seconds on a full field with no timeouts is pretty rough to need a TD. Id take those odds too. With our safeties and DBs i do like our chances.

I wish they would let Matekavich get in the rotation. He got regular LB time in Pitt in a better spread of LBs. Would like to see what he can do.

I love that this game is just a 1:00 PM game and its in Buffalo. Time change was this week...I know Seattle travels well...but I like that.

Rams and Raiders have both been within the top 10 power rankings in the past few weeks. The Rams were #10 in the ESPN rankings last week. Likely out now...

1.5 Billion...this number could probably reach 2-3 billion in income if they managed it. They could literally hire a high rise building of smart people to manage that. Incredibly lazy.
Its another reason the Goodell era has been overrated.

The NFL could have made more money selling the rights ad hoc at a set price, non-exclusive to anyone that wanted to pay to air, the notion of keeping up with joneses could have made it a must. They could have banked by streaming services, then selling to other platforms.
Cant tell me the exclusive rights money to a lone contract exclusive deal was higher than a model that could have given everyone acesss , at a nice price. Greed and arrogance. It was also a huge reach in the stability of DTV, whose reputation, rates, and price point disenfranchised consumers. This was a mistake. I think the exclusive money was simply a big figure they could not refuse with the least possible thought. The notion out of market games could be available to others was kinda of a new fringe concept. NFL did not have the foresight to see the future of cable. Perhaps they saw it as bonus cherry not requiring much thought in addition to all the other big TV deals.
I do think the future of the NFL is in its own network...

Matekavich play was huge. The way Klein is playing, id love to see him get some big boy snaps at LB.
I know hes light, but he played more at Pitt and did well. Klein such a disappointment.

I hated the deep shot...was a bad call by Daboll given the success of the running game. Poor choice to do that after a 2 yard loss 2nd and 12 i believe, which really made our 3rd down predictable and essentially killed 2 downs.

The offense played very well in the 2nd half. If Gabe hangs onto that pass the Bills would have scored TD's on 3 of their 4 second half possessions.
I thought Allen had 2 bad plays; the INT, which seemed like a Diggs mistake, and the out of bounds throw away where he tapped out. I thought on 2 or so plays he was too quick to ditch the pocket.
Ultimately, although maybe the weather let up, this was not a throwing game. Thought the kid played good, and was one of the drivers to victory.
