How can you live with yourself if your source gets fired so close to retirement and loses everything they've worked for?

also, why is it I've asked like 3 different times about the Cousins/Dennison connection and you've not given any answer?

Cousins Dennison shannan. U ridicule me and know u demand answers

To me it's not complicated at all.  It's like you are looking at this from the Redskins point.

Why does Cousins care at all?  He is better off going into FA and talking to all interested teams and have his contract bid up by the teams he wants to play for.

Tell me why Cousins wants to do this trade thing.  Why would he want his new team to pay a "kings ransom" to the Redskins and make that new team of his

    less competitive?

just telling you what is being talked about at obd.  I am not saying it is guaranteed just our thought process.  Why did we trade up for Sammy?  You have great questions I just post what we get from obd.  Many things will happen from now to the draft.  I know we want a veteran quarterback. It might be Alex Smith if we cannot land cousins. Remember what happened with josh Norman Washington landed him so they know the process

Don, I was the poster yesterday they had an issue with the Cousins scenario you spoke of.

Whether you have insider info has no bearing on my views.

You say that the Redskins do not want to tag Cousins for 35 million, but want something for him.

I agree, but what the Redskins want and what they can get are two different things.

You state that Buffalo would not want to trade for Cousins without a long term contract.

Of course they wouldn't, neither would any other team.

If, let's say the Browns wanted Cousins and he didn't want to sign a long term deal, the best they get is a 1 year rental for 35 million.

So Cousins will only sign a long term contract with the team he wants to sign with.

This is exactly what Free Agency is about.  Why does he care if the Redskins get anything for him.

Think of it this way, if a team wants Cousins and he doesn't want them he will not sign a long term contract.

If you are a team that Cousins wants to sign with, why would you give more resources (also taking away resources that could be used for Cousins

to get a better contract deal) when you could wait for FA?

Looking at it from Kirk Cousins and his agents point of view, why would they want the Redskins involved in their contract talks.

It is very complicated to make it work, the Bills wlll need persmission to talk to cousins and agent.  If deal can be worked out.  Redskins will sign him and trade to Buffalo. This is the simplest answer but more complicated than that.  They want a kings ransom from what we have been told but I never post until he is confirmed by at least another source or email

We just need to win this weekend.  What do you guys think about the news on Gaines

I'm confused Don. Is your source a former employee you hunt with or a current employee that's on the way out who talks with the former employee that you hunt with. Is it a man, a woman, a heshe? Are you employed by the Bills now? You keep referring to "We". Who is this "We". Are you referring to You, your source, your source's source or the Bills. If this "Source" has gone rogue, does that make him/her a sleazeball and unprofessional for telling a person who tells a person who posts it all on an internet forum. Does it make all of you sleazeballs? I'd honestly like to know how you and these other people think of yourselves. Good Decent people, you know, the ones everyone looks up to and says they are stand up people, don't go rogue, they sure as hell don't look for vindication on an internet forum. What kind of person are you and these others you speak of?

I posted that earlier on the board

I looked up some of these players and this is very believable. Smith is an obvious fit for our defense. Landry and Chubb are pass rushers which we need. McGlinchey strong tackle with multiple years starting in college. Wilkins takes over for Dareus or Kyle Williams. Denzel Ward is versatile with long arms, exactly the kind of CB McDermott likes. I'm on board with these picks.

Happy, you are a good man.  You do the research instead of insulting others.  Thank you for your kindness

Wouldn't surprise me, we already know they are willing to move up for players they really like (Zay, Dawkins). Think the cost would be too high though, if they could get a team ~10 spots up to accept a 2nd and a 5th I could see it happening. I'll be keeping an eye out for those players you mentioned a few pages back... thanks for the info.

If we sign cousins we want any first round picks to move up

  6. 36 minutes ago, HappyDays said:

I have a feeling he'll end up a top 10 pick when all is said and done and we won't be able to get him.

Don’t be surprised if we move up and draft him.     He has a 98.3 rating on this memo

Hoping Roquon Smith somehow falls to us, he would be our starting MLB on day 1.

McDermott want a lb like Luke from Carolina to be his defensive quarterback.   Smith is his guy   We may trade up for him

I pray that part is true.  I saw one game and never bothered to watch again. Maybe I missed something, but accuracy is kind of important for a QB.

According to the scouting report, they love the strength of his arm and his size.   Yes they do mention is accuracy but they believe it is his footwork and can be corrected

How about vindication from all of the pot shots in this thread?  The repeated being called a fraud?

As I said earlier if you think he is full of it no sweat.  All of this will play out and we will know whether his info was good or not.  No reason to rush to judgement on this.  Enjoy the info, if it is wrong what harm was done?  I enjoy getting inside info.  Posts from Leroi and Nevergiveup are an awesome part of this board.  Why are people in such a rush to push anyone with a source away?  Which thread is better, this one or the one that says we are blowing this year by not tanking even though we currently sit in the 6th seed?  There are many threads here.  Those of you that don't think the info is legitimate post in those.  Those of us that want to see if this is legit would prefer he not be chased away.

So you know Leroi as well

So if Cleveland wants Darnold, we are screwed?

    Greaaaaaat....if true

I have to believe Cleveland picks a quarterback will it be darnold, who knows.  The other possibility is darnold returns to usc.  It is not a given he comes out.  I hope Cleveland takes Rosen. Which will be a big mistake.  He is not even on our board

    True

I'm still giving you the benefit of the doubt though I still take things with a grain of salt. The other guy I mentioned likes to claim he has sources but we all know he doesn't.

This spring will be my vindication. I am looking forward to it

Interesting.  We have you with your "source" that says this.  Then we have SaviorPeterman with his "sources" saying that Peterman would have started last week if he wasn't in concussion protocol.

Not sure about that source,  not discrediting him but my source said something very different.  Mine is coming directly from obd and verified by several people as well as access to internal documents

The bills second rated quarterback is Josh Allen from Wyoming.  We would draft him in round two

     just wondering out loud here...

If there are high level Bills execs that peruse this board, how is it that Dunkirk Don has not been outed and the source of his inside info dried up? The sheer volume of supposed inside info makes me HIGHLY skeptical of DD.

They are investigating and they will eventually find the source (S/he is near retirement ) until then they are going rogue. at that time, no more inside information   Leroi says hello

  13. I forgot to pass along last week, .

From scouting department. The internal memo we discussed last week

Top 6 potential picks # 1 picks for Bills in 2018 if unable to trade up for Darnold -

    Roquin Smith ILB Georgia.

    Harold Landry OLB Boston College,

    Bradley Chubb DE  NC State,

    Mike McGlinsky OT ND,

    Christian Walker DT Clemson,

    Denzel Ward, CB Ohio State.

McDermott wants speed at linebacker.   looks like we will go for the defensive.

Good stuff Don, thanks. Not sure how I feel about using draft picks and a high salary for Cousins. I get it, skip the whole draft a crap shoot QB idea, but less draft capital to build around Cousins would kind of suck. I'm still for it though. Solve our QB issue for the next decade and this regime has shown a good eye for talent so I would feel good about it, depending on how much we have to give up to Washington.

One thing I don't get, if we're done with Tyrod why not start Peterman the rest of the year? We're risking an injury to someone we could trade who we have no need to evaluate further. I guess if the team leadership council wants Tyrod to start McDermott wouldn't have a choice.

The problem was the San Diego game.  If Peterman had a better showing, he would be starting right now.  We are still in the playoff hunt, the team, fans, and some posters here would have field day on McDermott.  As i said last week, Taylor is going to start the rest of the year regardless of win/loss.

    Don,

Keep in mind that many of the "fans" giving you a hard time on this board have an "interest" in discrediting leakers. They are not really fans and are in fact employees. Their goal is to frustrate you, get you to leave, get you in a fight, and convince neutral readers that you have already been discredited.

The best defense is to not engage them in any way. Just know that there are many people here who appreciate your input. Please continue with the information you have.

    thank you

I'm confused you when you said the Skins will probably let Cousins walk but want something in return.  Letting him walk means they let him walk.

It would be a sign and trade

    please stop

This people is what happens when you feed the trolls!!!

Shady, can I ask you one simple question.  Why do you follow me and read my postings?  There are so many other ones to read.

  17. Have not confirmed trade package.  Here's what we do know.  Cousins is still under contract with the Redskins.  The Redskins do not want to franchise him.   It will cost them roughly 35 million to do that.  They are not sure if they want to or can sign him to a long-term deal. Prior to free agency, a team cannot talk to a player of their agent which is true but they can discuss a trade.  The Redskins are probably going to let Cousins walk and want something in return.  Cousins would not mind being reunited with Dennison (Connection to WNY). They have an excellent relationship and Cousins respects him. This is why Dennison's future hinges on Cousins coming to Buffalo.  If Dennison is fired then you will know Cousins is not coming.

Why wouldn't we wait until he is released so we do not have to trade draft picks - we would have to compete with 31 other teams for his services.   If we can trade for him, we have our QB.  We would not trade for Cousins unless a long-term deal could be worked out.  It will be expensive 25million + plus numerous draft picks.  The package we heard is outrageous so we want to confirm before we share.  Again, McDermott loves Cousins (Preparation and commitment)

Where will the money come from?  Tyrod will be traded or released after the season.  Two landing spots are Jacksonville or Denver.  Wont get much  if they wont trade a 6th or 7, he will be released.  Glenn will be traded or released.  The problem is his health that is why Beane tried so hard to trade him before the deadline.  Wont get much for him but will be a salary dump. If Kyle does come back which is highly likely at this point, it will be at a reduced salary, our fullback will be released, we are stuck with Clay.

If this does not work out, 50-50 chance, we may go after Alex Smith.  He will still be 20 million plus too but we wont have to give up as much to the Chiefs.(3rd and 7th is what we would offer)  If those both go south, we will make Peterman our #1 and will sign an experienced quarterback to compete with him or back him up.  The bills are paying close attention to what happens in Minnesota.  The only qb they like in the first round his Darnold.

I know many people on this board are saying Cousins is not worth 20+ million dollars.  I don't disagree but the reality is that a franchise or supposedly franchise quarterback will be north of 20 million.  Heck, the Bears gave Glennon 18 million to hold a clipboard.  We are used to a paying peanuts for our quarterback and that is why we have not reached the playoffs.  More to come.

Yup, that's what I want to know. Cousins plus 4 picks in the first two rounds puts us in play for afc east

Until I get more specifics from my source, I won’t post anymore about cousins. All,I can say it will be Costly. People here will roast me if I am not specific. We have the deal but we want one more source to confirm it.  Will get another batch of emails soon

Let me make a quick call and see if he had a chance to confirm
