I agree with this and would add that Pryor while he hasn't shown anything is another solid decoy worst case and a guy that can go up and get a ball.

Last week I read an article about how Zay Jones seems to get interfered with a lot and it doesnt get called.   Then in this past game vs the jets it happened again...he got clobbered before the ball got there.  No call. 

 

1.  Is it really as obvious as it looks to me that he seems to have this happen a lot?

 

2.  Is it his own fault in a lot of cases because he doesnt work back to the ball enough.  

 

Just thought I'd throw it out there since it's gotten attention lately and it definitely happened again this week.

If you recall last year wasnt really him.  I know his FA signings haven't exactly been top shelf but his draft looks pretty damm good so far.  

 

Allen.  Hes raw still but you got to love him arm and heart. 

 

Edmunds.  Also raw but athletic freak that gets better every week.  

 

Phillips. Very good rotational guy that will likely replace kyle next year. 

 

Johnson. Steal.  Looks fantastic.  

 

Neal.  Ok.  Maybe a miss there.  

 

Teller.  Well he looks pretty decent in his first start.

No.  But they are getting harder to build when advantage goes to offense more often than not.  Cant hit QB.  Cant touch WR.   Tight cap allows teams to build one or other.  Rarely both.

Well.  Better arm that can be elite.  Cam can wing it but he has a fitz like wind up...Allen can flick it like arod.    Cam displays the arm 1 time a game.  Allen can spin in all the time.

Yes.  Cam was more ready but I'd argue Allen has a higher ceiling. 

 

1.  Better arm. 

2.  Not a douche.  Cam is always pouting and whining.  

3.  Smarter.  Allen is a sharp kid.  Cam is smart when he wants to be.  But doesnt put in the same effort.

Its not not his fault. It’s husband terrible receivers and terrible coaching. 

hes actually thrown a lot of deep passes...we just didnt have a receiver capable of going and getting it. :)

The only way a team can beat the system long term is by drafting consistently well. Entry level contracts don't gut a team like free agent contracts.

And a player taking a hometown discount doesnt hurt either.  Unfortunately we pay a hometown premium.

The beauty of the NFL however is that ***** evens out.  And quickly.  When the rams have to pay goff they wont have the same talent around him.  Same with wentz in philly.  Saints will lose breed sooner than later and also will have to pay their very talented rookie class from last year about the same time.  

 

Seahawks and falcons are a good example.  When they paid their QBs...they became worse teams as a result.  Just because Brady takes the league average for a qb doesnt mean everyone does.

Oh I saw him.   Losman was terrible but he also had a good arm and speed.  So some redeeming qualities.   Peterman has a noodle arm no vision no ability to read a defense and in no way should he be on the league.
