  1. Last week I read an article about how Zay Jones seems to get interfered with a lot and it doesnt get called.   Then in this past game vs the jets it happened again...he got clobbered before the ball got there.  No call.

    1.  Is it really as obvious as it looks to me that he seems to have this happen a lot?

    2.  Is it his own fault in a lot of cases because he doesnt work back to the ball enough.

Just thought I'd throw it out there since it's gotten attention lately and it definitely happened again this week.

  2. If you recall last year wasnt really him.  I know his FA signings haven't exactly been top shelf but his draft looks pretty damm good so far.

Allen.  Hes raw still but you got to love him arm and heart.

Edmunds.  Also raw but athletic freak that gets better every week.

Phillips. Very good rotational guy that will likely replace kyle next year.

    Johnson. Steal.  Looks fantastic.

Neal.  Ok.  Maybe a miss there.

Teller.  Well he looks pretty decent in his first start.

I'd say thats a solid draft as of now.

Except Allen hasn’t gone deep and tested anyone all year. It has happened like 3 times. Teams were daring him to throw it deep and never did.

Its not not his fault. It’s husband terrible receivers and terrible coaching.

hes actually thrown a lot of deep passes...we just didnt have a receiver capable of going and getting it. :)

  4. Can you imagine the gameplan of Allen vs peterman.  Ha

Peterman starting.   All defensive players are watching real housewives and practicing catching his wounded duck interceptions.  10 guys in box and just wait for mistakes.

Allen starting.  Determining if they need a spy and worried about being beat deep as Allen will test them.

    Ha

  5. The beauty of the NFL however is that ***** evens out.  And quickly.  When the rams have to pay goff they wont have the same talent around him.  Same with wentz in philly.  Saints will lose breed sooner than later and also will have to pay their very talented rookie class from last year about the same time.

Seahawks and falcons are a good example.  When they paid their QBs...they became worse teams as a result.  Just because Brady takes the league average for a qb doesnt mean everyone does.

not every position needs to be replaced to turn the offense

I agree.  Just posted this in another thread.  And have said this a few times.  10 picks and 90 million.   Look at what rams did in year 2 of goff in draft and FA.

DE Connor Barwin, RB Lance Dunbar, QB Aaron Murray, CB Nickell Robey-Coleman, C John Sullivan, DT Tyrunn Walker, CB Kayvon Webster, OT Andrew Whitworth, WR Robert Woods, TE Gerald Everett (R2), WR Cooper Kupp (R3), S John Johnson (R3), WR Josh Reynolds (R4) plus Sammy Watkins.

they really had not much outside Donald.  We have 3/4 of an elite D.   We need to find a new RB...but that isnt hard.  The rest is blueprint above.  Sign a WR or 2.  OL or 2 and surround Josh with a team and see what happens.

You obviously missed out on Losman.

Oh I saw him.   Losman was terrible but he also had a good arm and speed.  So some redeeming qualities.   Peterman has a noodle arm no vision no ability to read a defense and in no way should he be on the league.
