If we sign ziggy then I think lawson gets dealt on draft day to move up or acquire more pics.

This. We will run that stuff as core offense but the difference is we dont have a noodle arm QB so it will be mixed with deception to take shots down the field. Ala 2007 Patriots.

Those 2 both were playing great before injuries. D will be stout if we add a bit more of a pass rush and these guys are back.

He and Beane have shown an ability to self-evaluate wrt personnel and then make changes so hopefully there are no more Peterman's in his future and he figures out how to stop reflexively bending over at mere the sight of BB and the Pats.
I disagree with anyone who says he hasnt gotten anything out of this team. This team had the worst roster in football last year and yet we still won games. The year before wasnt much better and we made the playoffs. I think anyone who critisizes what he gets from his team is delusional.

Agree. But with center covered and long competing at guard we are a tackle I'm the first away from solid. Trade back take a tackle and tight end early.

We still need a TE pass catcher and now that we have addressed WR I'm guessing we get one of the top TEs now in 2nd. Thoughts? That would put us in a great position for Allen.

I get the fear of his overall stiffness when it comes to cuts and coming out of breaks but I'm watching him that's technique more than a flaw. He is too upright even when running the shuttle. He needs to bend the knees more and he could improve this aspect.

After watching that performance. Hes like a combination of Julio Jones and EMO.

I see OPs point but no chance.
1. Cap hit of 1.8M is cheap. Less than Andrew Holmes was to play special teams.
2. 1.5 dead cap of cut.
3. You dont give up on a 23 year old that caught 56 passes and 7 TDs in his second year.
4. Wr is our weakest position. Unless we sign 1 or 2 guys and draft someone high there is no way hes not in the top 5 or 6 wrs.

I didnt know this was civil court, i thought this was settled out of court. Anyway the burden of proof is actually no where near as stringent in civil court so that actually bolsters your argument but damages come into play in civil court so absolutely his career is relevant.
How much is taylor making. Terrible argument. So give him what taylor is making for next 5 year and see what number you get.

I will say this. While this is a great move...Charles clay has been a good dude here. Was leading receiver a couple times from a reception perspective. Model citizen...so while hes *****...the signing wasnt as bad as some made it our to be. Ps he developed into a good blocker.

He could have had 12 turnovers this year. He gets his hands on a lot of passes and caused 2 other turnovers with hits...

On ESPN bold predictions this morning it says a possible trade partner is Oakland if they want to move up with their stockpile...would you trade down all the way to 24 to get another first? We would likely have to throw something else in...a nigu second is worth nearly the same and allows us to pick earlier.
Things might get interesting this time around. :)

Who cares. He was remarkably average here and was the same there. People expected him to turn into wes Welker but hes just not that good.

Whether you believe he will be the franchise or not you have to love his attitude. Hes all in. Working hard in the offseason. Scheduling the time with the receivers...qnd being the first person to call the new guys. Amazing. If he walks like a franchise qb and he talks like a franchise qb....
