Was trying to not to have a vague title of Matt Barkley so added the more serious part.
I've watched him in the past and he didn't seem in shape so to speak...was a little rounder than you would expect. He also didn't seem to have the same command of things in his other backup jobs...
But this year...he's come in and did exactly what you would want. He's helping Josh. He's in great shape (looks like a different guy if you ask me). And seems all in here in buffalo.
Not sure if it is that he's taking it more serious or just a better fit for him. Thoughts?

I think fosters spot on roster is a given. He's not getting much time because he and Allen are already on same page...imo.
Zay may be gone at this point as he's clearly the worst if the guys not named brown and Beasley.

Ya. And he also put a lazer on Beasley's body on a tough route. He's gonna throw some bad ones but he's going to throw a lot more good ones.

1. How can you not love Matt Barkley. He loves the Mafia, is the perfect back up.
2. Do we keep an extra WR? Not sure who has special teams skills out of the bunch but hard decisions coming up. Beas, foster brown...then Zay roberts McKenzie and Duke? Ray-ray? Phillips? My opinion is ray-ray is the odd man out.
3. Depth - we have built a roster where cuts will get swiped immediately as there is a lot of depth at several positions. Good job Beane.

Lost in all the it's preseason or hype talk is that as always our coaches have this team ready to play. Every game. Pre season or not.

Singletary has already shown me enough. He will end up number 2 by week 4 and starting by week 12

7-8-1 with the worst coaching staff in the league. Baker Mayfield threw for 3725 yards, 27 TD's, 14 INT's and 63 completion percentage in 14 games/13 starts.
Great chance he takes a big leap forward this year with one of the best WR's in the league now on the team and one of the best RB's in the league joining after a suspension.
Barring injury they're definitely taking a big jump next year.
We have seen mayfields ceiling already. Thats him. Most pro ready and I think it was a given that he would be good...but will he be great. My guess is no. Think carson palmer like career

Let’s all be honest here. We may just be trashing him out of jealousy. The guy was excellent last year. I love JA, but Baker outplayed him by a large margin.
But, yeah, he does look like he’s trying too hard
Who will have the better career..thats the question. I could give a rats ass how he did last year. They both missed playoffs...0-0

Not sure if anyone say that...but he looks like he ate the baker of last year. And the beard...woah
While josh has been training. Baker has been eating baked goods.

Anthony Johnson all the way.

They think Brady will be done next year and are stockpiling for a qb.

That ship sailed yesterday when we decided to give JA more time to throw passes to Zay Jones and Jason Croom. And a shiny new TE with 4.51 speed.

According to over the cap we still have 30M in space right now. We could use another WR, DE and maybe CB.
Not to jump ahead but did we not add a DE because Ziggy is still in play. We have the cap room.

It's like people forget that robert foster was a top 10 WR over the last 6 games with no help. Throw in brown on other side and Beasley in the slot and let's see him operate. Plus we will have a running game this time around.

Always good to bring your sarcasm meter into the shop every couple years for a tune-up.
Ha. My bad. Missed the context of it.

I think Dawkins knows he dropped off last year and has become determined to right what was wrong. If he does, then we truly will have a top five line.
Look who was playing beside Dawkins. He will rebound.
Having said that they may eye a trade too

I dont care what his stat line is as all I see is As or A- for him from people who actually watch the games. Seems like a good fit at a position of need. Giddyup

Lots of silly geese around here imo.
Seems you have anger issues. The scouts and talking heads love the pick so I guess we will see who is right.

Tyreek done...with that pick

Beane is playing this well. Could get first round talent in first 2 rounds and a 2nd round talent at wr or te in 3rd by just being patient.

Funny you started this threat. Was going to start a similar one.
My guess is Yeldon to cowboys for a 6th and or Zay to giants for a 4th
