Sadly, he's not wrong
He's absolutely wrong. The Giants are the more popular team in the biggest TV market.
That boring ass team will always get too many primetime games unfortunately.
The guy is a delusional jackass.

Even if he doesn't, if he shows well, he has practice squad eligibility, and they would probably keep him around on that. Again,
IF he shows well.
That's what i was thinking. Nothing against the guy, he's in a tough spot.

Probably not. We've already been through this with Da'Rick who was a better prospect imo.

I don't think Allen is anything like Newton, and I doubt Beane ever though so, either.
Granted, they both are big and they both can run, but Allen's game is throwing the ball. Cam isn't all that good a thrower.
Idk he looks pretty similar when they run that draw out of the spread...

Is he even going to make the roster?

Bell and Gordon are right to hold out for whatever money they can get. The union contract is one-sided - it gives management the power to cut a player or force a renegotiation at any time, but the player has no recourse if he outplays his paycheck. It's doubly bad for running backs, who have a shorter career span anyway. They're run ragged and worn down during their rookie contract then discarded. If they're lucky they can get the franchise tag forced on them, but they will rarely have a chance for a free-agent deal in their prime.
Sorry, that was off the subject. Sometimes I just have to go off on a rant.
Fine with me. I completely agree with your post. I think a lot of people in general, not just on this board wouldn't.

CNN? A book? How about a music CD as well so he can dominate in severely declining media that once meant something to people now over 50?
I'm not sure what he's supposed to do? Post pics of himself on IG?
You sound like a rather unworldly person.
Books are bad?

Free speech is free speech, on any platform. Across any playing field you put it on.
Not really... The First Amendment protects you from the government in almost all instances, however, it does not protect you from private individuals or enterprises and if they want to get rid of you.
I'm not for or against it, but Twitter banning OJ's account would be like any forum banning a member. They are just not going to allow you to use their platform.
You have absolutely no idea what you are talking about.
11 hours ago, row_33 said:A publicity stunt to remind people he still has a show the last decade?
The guy just had an hour long special on CNN and a book come out that's selling well...
You can say that, but the facts don't support it.

That will happen, but McCoy or Gore could easily go down or just be done during TC.
Yeldon’s value as a pass catcher should make him a virtual lock to make the team.
And you know Singletary will be here.
What’s gonna happen to the old guys is the question
Shady is just as good of a pass catcher when put in that role...

Feel bad for the guy not being able to stay healthy, but he also made a good living.
I hope it just doesnt impact his quality of life after the game.

Idk...at least leaving OP, there's a back door route thru Akron that can still put you on I-90 in 30 minutes. Most people just don't know it. Sure as hell beats waiting in line, even if you go 20 miles out of your way you can still be ahead of the curve
Yep... I didnt know about this route but a cop at a stop directed me, take this way. What you're doing is going to take forever. My hat off to him.
I did however sit in stop and go traffic for an hour on I90, so the point still stands. Traffic is always going to be an issue leaving a venue with 70 or 50 thousand people there. No way around it.
48 minutes ago, billsredneck1 said:They just spent 25 mil on the sport science facility which is not equaled anywhere in the league. the surroundings in op are great. i hope they just upgrade. downtown would suck.
The stadium has almost nothing to do with the sports science facility. I'm sure it could have some use on game days, but nothing that couldn't be replicated in a new stadium. You can practice and use that facility during the week and play downtown. They have little do with each other.

It's weird to see people still operating under the belief that NRC just horribly misplayed the ball.
He straight up admitted he committed the foul on purpose. Something about he didn't think he was in position to make a play on the ball so went after the man or something to that effect.
So that means it should warrant a lawsuit?
46 minutes ago, formerlyofCtown said:There were other complaints as well, however one should not attempt to do what she did. It was foolish.
It isnt unreasonable to expect people to not put hot coffee between their legs. Just because the jurors were idiots doesnt mean it wasnt frivolous.
You're just jealous you didn't burn your legs.
I've seen your posts, I could definitely see you stuffing your face with food from a drive thru with a cup of coffee between your legs.

I like Baker. He strikes me more as of someone who wears his heart on his sleeve vs a d-bag.
Yeah awful move but I have heard him own up to this and admit he was in the wrong
Wow, would this board ever say the same thing about Lamar Jackson or Tyrod Taylor if they behaved the same way? Because neither of the things you are talking about have to do with performance.
A guy calls out coaches, teammates, runs from the cops... He's a good dude.
The hypocrisy on this board is beyond reproach.
But don't you dare hold out for your money Le'veon or Melvin.

No I'm asking the guy who portrays this as an upgrade...

He’s a much different type of safety than Bush is imo, but he’s an upgrade for this system, as long as he can still play. McD always got the most out of him and he knows the system well. Good signing imo.
Then why wasn't he signed before?...

I don’t disagree with most of that.
But boy was that about as bad a call as possible. Just awful. It didn’t ruin my year or anything but on a practical level you hate to see one so blatant in such a big moment.
One thing that does stick with me though is that I’m quick to point out humanity of the officials and that a bang bang play at a weird angle can be incredibly tough and perfection can’t be the expectation... this one felt like “I’m not throwing a flag no matter what” and I dislike that. I’ll stomach “if I’m not positive I’m not calling it,” but this felt even past that, and should’ve had consequences for the officials.
This happens in every sport. In basketball, hockey, soccer they all swallow the whistle. I don't like it a penalty is a penalty, yet the suing over it is atrocious.
Saints fans are an embarrassment.

Funny, likely true and not too worried about if people think I'm broke or not.
Lol wasn't trying to accuse you of being broke. I just think it'd be that, or I'd think this poor guy bought so many jerseys of players let go he just gave up buying them. Which is the place I'm in. I had a lot of jerseys as I got older, I've gotten less interested in them.

ALL NEWS MEDIA sucks nowadays. It's all sensationalism
He volunteered it. I don't really feel strongly one way or the other on him. However, the guy agreed to do an ESPN feature and just said this. It wasn't a mandatory press conference with the media where someone asked "Where do you think you'd be if Cleveland didn't draft you number 1?"
And even in that case he could have easily said something along the lines of I don't have to worry about that because I was drafted undeservingly so number 1, and in the right place.
Instead he spouts off at the mouth like he usually does.
So many of you hate the media because you simply have no idea what you're talking about. Their is a reason why they teach journalists to write at a 3rd grade reading level, and it's not for the 3rd graders.
And on this Pats would have traded up to get me crap. The giants had plenty of offers, as soon as the Pats call, and I don't think they had enough to give up. Don't you think they're calling all the QB needy teams saying the Pats want to trade up for a QB but we don't know who and get surely a better offer? It was never happening.
21 hours ago, TtownBillsFan said:I'm probably the biggest Baker Mayfield fan on this whole site, as I'm a die-hard SOONERS fan. So yes, I was hoping we got him, however it had to happen. I knew it probably wasn't going to happen, and hated it when we weren't able to trade up to get him.
Being in Sooner-land (blessed be!), I got to watch every game he ever played in (including while at Tech). The guy is NOT a douchebag. He's an EXTREME competitor, and makes note of every slight against him. He has that win-at-any-cost mentality, and sometimes that can get one in trouble (the planting the flag was bad optics, but for good reason, if you know the story behind it).
I wish we'd have been able to get him, but hopefully JA makes that a moot point (and I think he will!!!) But I think Baker will make Cleveland fans happy for a couple decades.
I don't buy a jersey every year, but I have my authentic blue Allen jersey ready to go! I think those two, along with Mahomes, will be the QB triplet that we talk about for the next 10-15 years, like we have Brees, Rivers, and Brady the last decade+.
The douche tried to run from the cops and got caught quickly. He is definitely in douche territory.

You should just get an OJ Jersey if you're thinking of getting a Henry jersey.
At least you'd get a reaction. With a Henry Jersey I think most would just assume you're broke and haven't bought one since 02.

I'm glad that old dude is still alive. I'll go see it only for nostalgia. I loved the movie when I was like 5 lol.
Edit: and I don't mean Tom Cruise, besides this and Jerry Maguire... I guess maybe the first mission impossible, I haven't seen it since it came out. I haven't liked anything he has done. The gif of the midget jumping on Oprahs couch is entertaining though.

The handgun is the biggest concern if it isn't registered. I'd think a good lawyer could easily come up with some reasoning as to why a 23 year old kid on an NFL contract has 15 G's, and 5 ounces... which isn't that crazy of an amount.
The gun is really where it becomes hard to make this all look like it's recreational if it's illegal.

Is this going to turn into a bash whaley thread because his cap management cost us preseason games?
I really don't even know where to go with this one. I can't think of a reason to care, win a regular season game.

The NFL has an International Series in London and Mexico City. I would expand the International map to include venues such as Tokyo, Berlin, Canada, Austrailia/New Zealand and South America.
I would also introduce the Nomad Series. Play a few games in places like Omaha, San Antonio, Portland, Norfolk, Albuquerque, Alaska, or Boise.
Each NFL franchise sacrifices one home home game to the International and Nomad series', for a total of 32 games played in non NFL venues. If security permits, play a game or two in front of the American Service Members stationed overseas
The length in terms of weeks would have to be doubled to adequately allow for travel.

I'm not disagreeing with that at all. He's hardly the reason they're getting primetime games.
If he wanted to say this about the Browns, I'd think he might have a point.
