Ok, well Jones is a big thorn in their side though. And he doesn't have as good an angle. His guy wasn't the victim, he is the perp.

I suppose so... But all the other owners have rallied against him. They don't like division like that. I don't find it a coincidence that when his problems with the league started intensifying the video leaks of him saying something to a fiance that her fiance will be sleeping with a black woman tonight and their was a black guy in the video.

    The league will go dirty.

I do find it funny though that your initial post could apply to both Jerry's outside of the owner/media specifications you gave.

Near as I can tell Jerry is a , well, not a smart man and not a fully developed adult and not careful about what and how he attacks.

He just flings poo basically. Plus he isn't an owner he is just media. I couldn't do anything about it in Jerry's place either come to think of it. Owner is different.

You do realize I'm talking about Jerry Jones right? I'm guessing you had it mistaken with Jerry Sullivan?

Ok it is worse in the film for sure. But he was trying to break his shoulder.

Gronk was trying to break Tre's head. I would take the McMahon hit over what Tre took.

Also Tre was down. And he was out of bounds!

Gronk's was worse all round.  If that is the dirtiest Gronk holds the title now.

Didn't Bruce knock out boomer on a dead play? I understand he claimed it was too loud... But it did happen

In Pegula's place I would not speak publicly yet. I would call Goodell and lay it on the line that he gets 2 games off, or it is war, and I will be fighting VERY dirty.

Dirty enough that he will probably want me dead.

    But I have bodyguards.

So it needs to be 2 games.

How has that worked out for Jerry? I get the anger, but it's crazy talk to think you can intimidate them into something.

I never knew edgy was a synonym of crappy.

Lol I like this. I'm undecided on Roman because his first year here and prior to him coming here, I was happy with him.

Two games with a banged up Sammy, and Tyrod at Qb. It's hard to really pin all the blame on him. But that's football, we go around in circles trying to specify blame and others trying to disperse it else where.

Prediction: the time will come. Tall WRs and TEs have now been the unstoppable weapon for about 20 years, going back to the entrance of Tony Gonzalez - the first prominent converted basketball player - into the NFL. Where are the tall/athletic players on defense? In the 1970s, Ted Hendricks was a fantastic linebacker. He was 6'7", essentially Gronk sized.  There are no Ted Hendrickses playing defense now.  There will be. At some point we'll see the 6'7" athletic guy with bad hands who coaches realize has more value in covering a Gronk than in trying to be a Gronk.  I'm amazed it's taken this long. It will correct.  It always does ...

I agree with this, I think some defenses have started to turn the corner and emphasized having size on the corners. Be it height or a larger than usual wing span for their height.

Here's to the over reaction of the year post. Did you or did you not watch McDermott's defense hold Tom Brady to the least amount of production, really anyone thought was possible.

Despite a nice game plan by the OC, the offense just failed to execute. But...  zone blocking is a great scheme, just not with a power gap team. That's what the OC knows. A. Lynn was smart enough to keep Roman's run game in place.

I'm sorry but you can't call a game in which you had only 3 points a good game plan. Sure his scripted plays seemed to do ok, but the game plan entails more than that imo and it just petered out and produced absolutely nothing.

Im pretty sure that’s not what he said. From what I heard they were discussing the idea of giving Cousins $27mil per year and how you could potentially trade Glenn for a 2nd rounder and save money on the cap when Kyle potentially retires after this year and McCoy’s contract expires in a year or two. I remember him saying laying a guy like Cousins doesn’t cripple your cap because of those potential savings.

And I think we take dead money with the Glenn trade but I could be wrong.

I'm just skeptical of Cousins, and he was also making it sound like we'd be a more attractive landing spot for him... even after doing all that, than an Arizona or Denver. He didn't even mention Jacksonville in the running for him either.

I don't care...I've watched 10 games against the Bills where he gets away with shoving defenders back 2 or 3 yards or to the ground and then turning around and being wide open for passes.  Nobody is crying about those are they?

It has no effect other than hurting your team...what are you going to do punch them in the helmet and break your hand?  Snatch their chain and get ejected from the game and then suspended? Then get called for a personal foul?

I mean don't you think the players and the coach have a hell of a lot more at stake than you as a fan do??

I failed to explain my point. That's what I was saying, these guys have careers at stake. As a fan, I just having rooting interest. So while we all yell about retaliation and they might feel that urge a bit too, it's a much more difficult decision to make.

But thanking him... That's bordering Charmin, not just being a good pro.

Definitely a disgusting play by Gronk and one that deserves retaliation. I just find it kinda sloppy that Aaron Williams is calling out Bills from his couch. The attitude adjustment in Buffalo is long over due and he is part of that.

I think the play struck a nerve with him, no pun intended. He sent out a few more tweets...

  11. I only listened to the first half hour or so. I catch about that much often. I like the producer, but I find Nate Geary to come across as just arrogant and wrong a lot. His tone is awful and whiney.

Today his take on how they should move Cordy Glenn, Shady, and with the KW contract off the books they'd be a more attractive landing spot to Kirk Cousins and should give him like 30mil a year.

I remember when the Bills signed deonte Thompson he kept rambling on about how he wasn't a speed guy and he's a possession receiver. I'll take Schopp and Bulldog. As much as you guys hate them and they can be annoying, there's a reason they are the A show and this show is the B show.

I already said the Bills could use an enforcer on the field. Williams was never that, so he should shut up. He was an oft wreckless player who penalized his own team for his play style. If Aaron was still playing he would be part of the problem not the solution.

I agree he was w reckless, he was an atrocious cb so to get whatever we got out of him at safety I considered house money.

I just think the hit on White today was just unprecedented. I can't recall of any instance during Williams time here where you'd think Williams should have done something. I guess we'll just agree to disagree to an extent because as a fan, I get the frustration.

Well, here he is racing into a scrum to have his teammate's back.

    I forgot about that.

As WGR explained it he thanked him because he felt it would have caused some unneccessary stuff...

Yea which I may or may not agree with, it's tough as just a fan with little for me really actually at stake. I understand it, McDermott was just doing what he's shown to be. Always a professional, first and foremost.

nah, I think it's related to him holding the record for most wins against a single team (Bills). More Bills equals more wins.

It also feature Bill belichick as the judge, on Bill's got talent. So is it giving props to him?

I'm really not even sure what is going on. It's not clear at all, the best thing as a fan is just to not be sensitive and let it fall flat because it makes almost 0 sense. It could also reference MG and Hogan being out? They need more out of their "Bills". That's a stretch but just so much of it is unclear so it's whatever. He's just a dumb football guy who claims he knows how to fall and jeep ligaments from tearing.

For someone who's considered smart on the football field he comes across like a real dumbass off it. I guess that's what happens when one thing totally consumes you. The guys the best QB ever, he should be happy he lives in a time where that enables you to be woefully unsuccessful at everything else and be fine.

CBS says that Bill called it bull crap.  See for yourselves.  As you can see, it would be Mcdermott who brings it up first.

If so, this shows that MCD is not a kitty!

He brought it up by thanking him for not putting gronkowski back on the field for the following pats drive.

Thanking the opposing coach for sitting down his guy who just took one of the cheapest shots in recent memory doesn't give me much hope of anything.

That's at least what was being speculated on the post game. All I can clearly make out from McDermott is I personally... after that it tails off for me on what I can piece together.

No. Absolutely not the worst season of the drought.

This season just is what it is... making the best of what we have and overachieving in a rebuilding year.

We still might make the playoffs, but probably won't.

If we manage to get in, McDermott deserves coach of the year consideration.

Do you even watch the rest of the league? He wouldn't even be top three. You've got LA, Philly, Minnesota and even New Orleans probably ahead of him.

After the Peterman decision, no chance he'd be in coach of the year consideration. He's still considered a joke nationally.

I don't think that's the case. Having someone out there holding the opposition accountable wouldn't be a bad thing. It's just a stretch for a guy like Williams to be complaining about it.

This makes little sense. So you or I could say it, and it be right. But then Aaron Williams says it, and now it's a stretch?
