Later like end of the 4th?

Idk losing that 3rd really bent us over hard. This is gonna be a tough fill out unless we see restructures by Josh, Dawkins, Diggs, Taron, etc...

Deep draft at WR means you are getting real value at #28. If you wait till #60, that benefit is significantly diminished. It's a terrible draft at DE. The few that are truly worth a first will be long gone. (I'm not sold on Chop Robinson.) One should not conclude from that that making a rush to grab a mediocre player on DL is justified.

What the loss of the third means is that the 2nd rounder is not going to be WR, unless they end up trading back from #28.

Hate to say it the Bills are gonna have to find a way to pay an Epenesa or similar player then bring in a vet minimum Shaq Lawson type. DTs will be able to be had deeper into the draft than DEs.

Get to 40 mil in space and take a big swing.

    Chris Jones

Christian Wilkins (camp fights with Josh)

    DJ Reader

    Leonard Williams

    + Re-sign DQ.

Derrick Henry if he doesn’t sign with Ravens

    CB Jaylon Johnson?  only 24
We tried to acquire him at the trade deadline.

That would be super intriguing.  Benford or Rasul could move to Safety

So may laugh at you, but any of those DTs would make a huge impact. If it could be done, I'm with it.

I know the fans are convinced they are going to go WR becuase they “need to”

but I’m not convinced the bills brass feels this sentiment at all

they see Josh being Josh with whomever he has - another mvp worthy year with what he had (no number 2)

in addition they also see where they keep losing - on defense - to the chiefs

would NOT surprise me if come draft day - everyone is disappointed because it’s defense heavy again

Get the firepower. Even when this D is close to loaded they fold in the playoffs. Even when they squeaked out a win they made old man Rivers look like 1989/1990 Joe Montana. Stockpile weapons like a redneck named Cletus.

Coleman had a dissapointing 40, but timed out towards the top on the drills

True. Could still be a dark horse for me because when you watch the film he constantly runs away from people at that size. Impressive.

The Bills’ 1st and 4th would maybe get them up 2 spots.  Their 1st and 3rd might move them up to pick 23.

I just don’t see a trade up this year.  FA is yet to start, maybe they can re-sign Daquan Jones or Tim Settle or Poona Ford and maybe AJ Epenesa, even if they can, they still need more DT and DE depth and should also find a S and take a shot at CB if Rasul Douglas isn’t back.  I know it is an offense driven league, but they have a LOT of holes on defense to address and little cap room to augment draft choices with free agents.

I'm thinking a trade up could possibly include more picks from the 2025 draft, which could also be a year where the Bills may be able to hit free agency a little harder.

Adonai is whom I realistically most want the Bills to draft.  Harrison-Nabers-Odunze-Adonai- Thomas- Ladd is my board.  That makes Ladd the 6th WR off board.,  I like Worthy, but I much prefer Ladd due to better hands and route running, production, size, and burner speed(not as fast as Worthy, but 4.4 will take the top off).  Ladd is a much more complete, NFL ready player IMO

Pretty spot on although I think you could flip flop Thomas and Adonai depending on which weekday it is😆. But despite age a dark horse kind of settle for pick at 28 would be Xavier Leggett. I think he has a higher ceiling as a pro than AJ Brown and that is worth the 28th pick to me. I am also cool with a trade up for Thomas and possibly Adonai.

The Chiefs won't get a whiff of him at 32.

Not at 32....I expect a move up by them, possibly even a big move up if some moron team trades for Sneed in the old New England "the rich get richer" scenario. Teams think they are getting better when in truth they are just keeping themselves further from the best by doing that crap.

You can't ignore the ridiculous quality and quantity of wrs this draft. If it's me, I'm drafting wr at 28 & 60. I'm telling Sean he's going to have to make do with rounds 3, 4, 5 for defense.  Hopefully the 1st round wr replaces Gabe immediately and can transition to WR1.  And the 2nd round guy can assume the WR2 role. Whatever cap $ we have to spend,  use it on defense.

Exactly. Use what cap space we create to fill the D with bargain free agents and maybe one high level starter.

One thing is for certain. The quality of this draft at WR is like night and day from last year. Beane needs to get two quality WRs out of this draft.

This would be the year to double dip and could right the wrong of the Rousseau/Basham fk up.

Deebo vibes!!! Would he fall to us in second? Probably not.

Moulds/Deebo/AJ Brown vibes. You take him at 28 no questions asked.

Legit worst case scenario. If they trade Sneed they'll have more than enough ammo to do so if they please

Hopefully no team is dumb enough to trade for Sneed.

WRs are running their 40s now. Finally. We can now throw out all of the film evaluation and simply rank WRs by their 40 time.

It's really just a handful of guys though that need the 40 to kinda match their game tape. So far, Mitchell and Coleman were 2 of them and one increased money and the other lost money.

    AD Mitchell 4.35

Did. Not. See. That. Coming!!! Wow!!! Well, if we want him it may take a "with the 23rd pick in the NFL draft the Buffalo Bills select"...

Sorry I misunderstood! I'd do #28, 2024 3rd & 5th, and our 2025 2nd if the right guy was there. Or... if a team like the Seahawks or Saints want a man corner with some experience and upside, Elam instead of the '24 3rd

I'm on a very similar thought process as well. If it means getting an alpha type prospect, I think you gotta do it. Especially at WR, where I don't wanna "settle" for Franklin, who I think will get snapped in half in man coverage for a few years, if not his entire career.

If he isn’t a Kyle Hamilton/sean Taylor type then no thanks in the first

No safety is considered a top 50 player this year so we should be safe😆. But as for round 2, there is a good chance the value could line up, so prepare yourself.
