I'm on the trade up for Brian Thomas Jr train. It would take this years 1st, 2nd and next year's 2nd (or 3rd) to move up to get Thomas and this year's 3rd.
So we'd lose one pick next year and have the same number this year. The 2nd pick would be coming in the 80's instead of 60.
Of course a number of other teams might have him as the clear #4 and drive the price up for him.
I'm on board with trading up for him myself but I don't know about it for all that. If he's still around like 17 to 22ish.... I'm definitely looking into it.

How do you explain a tip 5-10 defense since he got here with undrafted guys and mid to late round picks all over on the defense then. Guys like Jackson and Benford starting, guys like Bernard starting. It’s a lack of scheme and game plan in the front and it’s always been a problem for him. Even thought he’s had multiple early rd picks and mod to high priced FAs at the positions.
And this
They've gotten the benefit of playing a weak division and gems such as Skylar Thompson and late round rookie QBs.

So...Xavier Worthy. His speed is tantalizing, and his production was very good against big boy competition. Of course the question is size. He seems comparable to Devonta Smith. Remember all the questions about his size and durability when he came out. What do people think about Worthy as compared to Smith? Would he be worth the risk at 28? The thought of what he could do on bombs from Josh...
Imo while Smith has produced and can play in the league....his light weight is definitely a concern and a hindrance at times. Bottom line: a high end #2 is the ceiling.

Question? Whats wrong with a 2nd round WR?
Nothing as long as they trade up about 20 spots to land one. Get ready for a gold rush of epic proportions son...

Douglas is 30. CB could happen anywhere anytime. Aways remember, never forget 😂😆😂.

I'm thinking more of trading a 1st in 2025 to get into the 2nd round of this draft.
Imagine getting Sweat, a #1 WR, and another staring position of need (C/G, S, DE) now. We know we need those roles for the future and this draft has them in abundance.
Where can I sign this petition?😆

I believe Beane will create picks. There's no way he goes from 60 to 128 sitting on his hands. This draft is huge in establishing a good solid core on both sides.
Since there are a few teams with more than one pick in rds. 2 and 3, I can see him selling next years 1st to create another 2nd and 3rd.
Latu/Murphy 28
Sweat 41
Burton 60
Walker 88
Smith 128
I would be thrilled with the picks!

I'll say this: if DL is the Bills 1st pick they better use a bunch of late round picks to move up about 20 spots in the 2nd round to get a WR cause there is gonna be major run on them from around pick 24 to pick 40.

I am really confused what position this guy plays. In OP Schefter says he's a DE, you say he is a run stuffing DT.
So what is he in our scheme? Oliver backup or Jones backup?
Jones. He only got listed as a DE cause he was in a 3-4 on his last team.

Sweet. Now just score one more safety and I'm very comfortable heading into the draft.

Plenty know and are talking about it. Weak class though.

He is my WR4 so I'd happily just stand pat and pick him at #28.
Yep. Think Eric Moulds with a franchise QB. Sign this mofo up for that!😂😆😂

He didn't make Damar Hamlin and Jaquan Johnson legit.
He has had two great safeties here his entire time.
Yeah the DB whisperer nonsense has gotten a bit outta hand. He's had some good players here, who have mostly been shredded in the playoffs.

Great highlights. I think he goes 2nd.
Yep. Another guy we say maybe we can get him with one of our forths but goes late 2nd or early 3rd.

The Bills recent draft history from rounds 4-7 since 2017 under the McD and then eventually McBeane has been pretty good.Milano, Taron Johnson, Gabe Davis, Dane Jackson and Benford all ended up being productive to great starters drafted in rounds 4-7. They also found Wyatt Teller and Ray Ray McCloud both of whole went on to have good careers elsewhere. In addition to those players the Bills also found solid role players in Siran Neal, Tyler Bass and Hamlin.
That being said there were about 15 misses in those rounds in that same time period. So it’s a total crap shoot.
Right. I mean I like our chances, but it absolutely is no sure thing. Well just like every round, you never know really. All I do know is I think landing a Blackmon and then Johnson at DT would really allow the draft to really just come to us and have no unnecessary reaches.

I hope not. Quality safeties can be had rounds 4-7. Ask Hyde and Poyer.
It's not like a tree where a Hyde and Poyer can be plucked every draft. You only get late round guys that pan out like that every so often.

Beane was too cheap …Edwards obviously going to bet on himself to get paid more next year ..They have now signed both Rapp and Edwards to less money than what they paid Hyde last year …
They could easily still make another add if they wanted from Free Agency and probably still be some margin under what they paid Poyer and Hyde last year
I would still try hard for one more veteran that way they would only have to draft a safety if he was the clear BPA. I think this draft has multiple guys who would benefit from only playing specials for a year then taking over for Rapp/Edwards in 2025.

wood played guard for the Bills.
As a rookie only. He also was a late 1st round pick.

They have a DE and CB both considered top 20 picks....could keep an eye on them in case one slides. Just another angle of the draft madness.

A center with the ability to play guard could be an earlier pick than expected. This class is loaded with them.

Tre White to the Rams - 1 year deal, $8M up to $10M

The great thing about this is both White and Douglas are on a one year deal. If Tre can come back strong, maybe we bring him home next year. Nothing but love for our dude Tre.
