  1. The Browns will finally rise above the Steelers in the division this year. Not that big of a thing because the Bengals will pass the Steelers in 2022.
  2. There is talk of it but last years PS rules were only voted in for 1 year. I hope they keep them the same as last year and like you I have heard they might vote on it.
  3. Steelers LOL. First the Bills won by 11 and the 2 season games the Browns lost the 1st by 31 and won the 2nd by 2. Browns are decent football team and will be better than the Steelers this year but it still doesn't mean some of us can't laugh at them.
  4. Oh for sure. Last year was great in that regard. I'm just saying I think there is a spot on the PS for Davis Webb to make some decent money to stay in Buffalo another year. I'll add that I don't think Fromm is a lock for the #3. Preseason this year will tell more.
  5. Yep. I was checking out the AFC Playoff caliber teams for next years cap and FAs and CLE is not in great shape at all. Their big carryover years are done. Then they got to pay Baker just like the Bills have to pay Allen.
  6. If things are normal the PS size this year is 12. With Trubisky only a 1 year guy I think they can afford a PS spot for Webb. Keep him around to see what happens after the season is done.
  7. It seems to me that Beane has got himself set up for the draft pretty well. I can see a lot of positions being in the BPA category especially from Round 2 on. I think RB could be one of those.
  8. I guess a batted down pass on 3rd down is as good as a sack.
  9. Thanks guys, I appreciate the replies. I'm going to be back there in a few weeks so I'll check into it more. Plus, all the stuff is constantly changing so who knows what inputs these "passes" will allow by the time the season rolls around.
  10. I guess I should look into this Excelsior Pass stuff. I'm planning to come to Buffalo 2 maybe 3 times this year. Do you think it's worth getting one? Can non-NY residents get one?
  11. Sorry to hear about your Dad. I'm in a similar situation right now. Just got my 2nd shot and happy I got it as fast as I did. I'm booking a flight back to Buffalo as we speak to see my younger brother who is going through his fight against the C word. I wasn't going to do that until I was reasonably assured not to add to his issues.
  12. People, people, people the first regulation game is 4+ months away. Let's wait to see what the NFL has to say until then. Lot's of water has to pass under the bridge.
  13. Thanks for that detail. Sounds like he could be a good vet fit finally. Beane needs that before the draft being how thin the room is right now.
  14. Git er done Brandon. Am I doing this right?
  15. You know I cared so little about the Pats last year I can't even remember who played slot after Edelman went down.
  16. Yep. It seems the big miss is Jefferson. What OTC also seems to do with Dead Money is list only players with 100k or more.
  17. The more we see from Beane I put him the "Fair but Firm" category. I can't ask for more than that from him.
  18. Spotrac has a much more detailed Dead Cap list than Spotrac. Scroll down to "2021 Dead Cap" list. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/buffalo-bills/cap/
  19. Like others have said, Knox, James and Hollister seem like a pretty good way to go into 2021. Sweeney and maybe a late round BPA TE pushing as competition will also be hopeful.
  20. Hap, check the Dead Cap $s for both sites. I seen a big difference there earlier in the year.
  21. Are Bills fans really upset when Diggs and Beasley catch passes and not a TE? Bills TEs accounted for about 450 yards last year and the RBs about 400 yards. Adding another 150-200 yards by each of these positions would balance the offense nicely. That would put the Bills passing game well over 5,000 yards. That's elite. If the Bills find themselves with a TE capable of 700 yards per year well that's great! I see no reason for multiple 1st rounders for a TE. I just don't get it.
  22. I'm thinking that's the odds on favorite myself.
  23. True but it comes down to the age old question. Do you build talent through FA, the draft or a blend of the two? @BubbaT had a great point about current players coming into their own. Nobody was certain 5th rounder Tyreek Hill would become who he is. The road to a Super Bowl Champion has a lot of luck in it too.
