Still a fairly soft secondary though…they couldn’t cover diggs with their two best dbs last year.  I think being unbalanced is actually going to work out in our favor for once…they seem to be beating up on teams like the browns and titans that rely on consistently being able to get that 4 or 5 yard rush when they need it.  If we don’t get brown or Feliciano back I will def be concerned though don’t get me wrong. I think we’re really underselling how whack our offensive line talent has been most of this season and reinforcements are coming

I hope the O line gives Josh some time.  I totally agree about their secondary

We lost to the jags missing like 60% of our offensive line by 3 points…our injuries just played perfectly into the only thing they’re decent at. If we were in a similar situation health wise in the trenches I’d be much more worried. I just feel pretty strongly that our best football is coming and this mini bye week gives our Covid dudes opportunity to get back in the lineup

Different defense this year.  We have to deal with Judson, Hightower and Barmore.

Well played OP, you’d like the answers to funnel to Hoodie as advance intel before the big Monday Night matchup I’m sure! :w00t:

Not XXV—Thurman ran roughshod, and Bruce got free a time or 2 as well…

Out of 60 minutes the Bills only had the ball 19 minutes.  We couldn’t stop an old time back by the name of OJ Anderson.  Thurman should have had double the yards but we didn’t decide to run later in the game.  We were out coached by a defensive coordinator named Bill Belichick.  Bill played 2 defensive lineman and the rest defensive backs and linebackers.  We didn’t have to blow anyone of the ball to get running yards.  Bill wanted to take away the pass.

They came out running - then got off schedule, threw a pick.  Scored the next drive to make it 14-7.  Then it was 24-7 before they touched the ball again.  Mckenzies mishap changed what they were really able to do in the 2nd half.  That and their inability to figure out how to stop taylor.

You win in the trenches on both sides of the ball.  That is why the 90’s Bills never won the Super Bowl.  We had great talent but we’re overpowered in every Super Bowl.

There were a few games where Kelly came out and threw 3 picks in the first quarter and the game was over.

I don’t remember any this late in the season tho. At one point I wanted him benched. He was awful at times.

when Kelly was bad, he was really bad.

I saw Kelly throw 3 interceptions in the first half and brought led his team back to victory.  I believe it may have been a Monday night against Cincy.  When it is not going Josh’s way it looks like he sulks on the bench.

The Jags came into the game 1-7.    Hadn't won a game in Jacksonville since the beginning of 2020.   That's definitely worse than any of the other scenarios mentioned.

I do think the Jags will win 5-6 games.........which would put them in the same category with the 5-11 1988 Buccaneers.........a game that stunned the Bills fan base.

And close games to divisional opponents shouldn't be nearly as surprising as against epically bad teams you don't play regularly.    I remember that game in NE well though.........it brought back memories of that Tampa game but they had a lead in the race for home field then too.

This year,  they are chasing despite regularly being cited as "the best" team in the AFC.

I was at that game.  Bill were 11-2 coming in and the Bucs were bad.  We lost 10-5.  I was sick.

I can’t blame Singletary for running into the back of Mitch Morse because Morse is getting pushed 5 yds into the backfield or because Feliciano is getting beat like a drum. I think both Motor/Moss can be capable backs with better, more physical linemen

Wait until he has to go against Vita Vea. Yikes

    Does this matter?  lol

I even saw Quentin Nelson's name mentioned here in the last few days.  Some people don't give much thought prior to throwing names out there.

He is a beast.  He almost put Edmunds in the first row of the stands in the playoff game last year.  He reminds me of a young Incognito with a much better head on his shoulder.
