Is it just me or did it seem that our defense played very vanilla. We didn't seem to create pressures like the last few games and stayed with 4 man rushes. I wonder if we did not extend our game plan in preparation for the playoffs and not show too much seeing that even with a win we would more than likely be a 5th seed.
I thought we should have blitzed the crap out of Brady. We made it easy for h8m

He came out of the locker room with a lot more energy than earlier in the game.

For those of you who think JA is the second coming of Christ, let me remind you that barring three nice throws, JA did nothing. That's right. Nothing. Daboll do not help matters, but it was on him. Let the PR people tee off on me. Let me save you some time: "oh, but Allen is still young". oh, but he is still finding his rhythm, "Billy Buffalo doesn't like him." Okay guys, let me have it.
Also, it is the line and receivers.

1 pass to a running back is a massive under the radar problem that makes things easier for the defense to scheme us. No threat out of the backfield thru the air in 2019.
Why is Yeldon here exactly?
Houston killed them with the RB pass. Their linebackers could not cover. We did not even try to exploit them

I’m far from a Daboll hater, and I don’t know where the calls came from in the first possession after taking the lead, but we lost on that conservative 3 straight runs and out.
Our defense uncharacteristically struggled all day, and immediately gave up long drives and the lead after.
We sat on the lead when it was 17-13. We should have been going for the jugular.

Morse out hurt also. Rest em up next week.Barkley should play vs Jets. I'd rest as many starters as I possibly could. And hope Morse is back for playoffs.
I hope it is not his Achilles

Just have to keep doing what we do today. 26 early and often and keep playing excellent defense. Little to no Gore please. Go Bills!
Need to isolate 26 on their linebackers and get him down field on pass pattern. Their LB’s couldn’t cover Houston’s RB’s. Mismatches baby!

Schopp got an interview with Michael Irvin? I'm legitimately shocked.
He comes on the show often.

Wealthy Buffalo restauranteur. He has an annual party in Miami for the Bills game and, I’m pretty sure he had one this year so kind of bizarre. Some background in this article from a couple years ago -
He did have his annual party down in Miami. He must have had a knee jerk reaction to many frustrating years.

The lack of touch on deep balls is what drives me nuts. Throughout the season, he has missed wide open guys. Its happened several times when he has had time to throw and was not hurrying to complete a pass. I could give him a break if it was just at the Ralph where the wind has been awful in a few games this year but it has happened away from home as well. I don't know how you fix this but if he had connected on even one of those 3 misses on long passes yesterday, I think we win that game.
He has no touch so get used of it

I don’t blame Daboll for today. Next to impossible to look good when your QB & OL are a disaster for most of the game.
They knew that Allen can’t complete the long ball so the just kept blitzing. The receivers are open but he has not been able to hit them all year. They should be concerned at OBD

The playcalling from 1st and 10 on the 18 was pathetic
No doubt 2 yards in 4 plays and burned clock.

Maybe I'm watching a different game. The game I'm watching Brown had to wait on that throw and Peters caught up and slapped it away. With Brown's speed that ball needed to be another 2 yards in front of him. So yes maybe Hopkins catches that as he fights off the defensive back. Rogers would have thrown that TD. Not a knock on Allen, today wasn't his most accurate day.
Same throw as earlier in year against Philly when Darby knocked it away.

Wasn’t he a journeyman QB?

Singletary reminds me more of Thurman Thomas. Same low center of gravity, shiftiness, patience, and knack for repositioning his feet under his body. Neither had/have breakaway speed, both adept catching the ball, although Thurman probably was better in that respect. He was also three inches taller. Same weight, though. The coaches seem concerned Singletary can't handle a full load, but he had a million carries in college, and he has plenty of weight on that short body. Tough to tackle. A promising back.
They also both use the jump cut.

After beating the Ravens will be 10-3 and we need to tear down the goal posts. Consider this an early invite/ notification to take over the field
I did that back in the 80’s after beating the Jets. Good times

Yep. My take exactly. The run D has got me worried.
The big question is do we have the ability to get into a shoot out if the defense is having a bad day. As of now I would have to say no.

The comparisons to Tyrod by Buffalo media this week was peak stupid in the analysis of Josh Allen.
Considering that it was coming mostly from the morons that wanted the guy in charge of carrying a clipboard (well tablets now) for Ryan Fitzpatrick makes them look even more ridiculous.
Looking forward to hearing them downplay this bc it was against a joke team or something. Or not a 300 yard game.
Allen is currently in the company of every QB in the league in that department especially trying to win there. No one does.
But, ok? I love the "beat New England" requests. Lol
Wentz looked just as shook vs them today as Josh did. It happens.
Lamar didn’t have a problem
-
Let’s see what he does against a good defense. Beat New England
-
Great downfield tackle from behind. He showed a lot of hustle. The announcers should have gave him props.
Shocking, I know, but Tom Brady is a total punk (tries to trip Oliver)

Same as his coach. If you beat him you get the quick handshake and look the other way.
