  1. I can see it now... the scene from TD's interview with MM: TD: So, I fired the last head coach because he was a Booger Eating Moron. What would do if you found yourself at 4th-and-short, trailing, with a losing record, on your home field. Would you punt? Kick a FG? Go for it? MM: Oh, yes, Mr. Donahoe. You're right, Mr. Donahoe. Of course I would go for it! A coach has to show trust in his players. Even though the other team knows what you're going to do, sometimes you just have to line up and do it anyway! Flash forward to Saturday: MM not only lied, he tried to cut the baby in half with that Punt/FG garbage. What a wuss. Maybe Ralph can get out from under his contract by claiming that MM lied in his interview!
  2. Don't forget, we still have Lawrence Smith coming off the IR!
  3. The more important question is, why do you take your best player off the field on the most important plays?
  4. That's what happens when an entire team quits.
  5. "For" the Jets? You must mean "to" the Jets, right?
  6. Good grief. Make like your namesake and get the he!! out of Dodge.
  7. Well, of course... but even with TD as President, Ralph still has the ability to fire him :-) (Is it possible to fire yourself? Don't answer that ;-)
  8. After listening to the Felser interview, bringing back Marv make total sense, only not as a GM or coach. Remember that before TD was hired, the Bills never had a "President" -- only a VP of Football Operations. Right now, Ralph wants someone who he knows and trusts, and who will be loyal to him. So he brings in Marv as President to "stabilize the organization" and "clean house" (Felser's words), to get the ship pointed in the right direction. Then, Marv hires (or promotes from within) a GM, or VP of Football Ops, or whatever. Then a new coach is hired. The more I think about this, the more I like it.
  9. Nah, those two look like they could hold a block for more than 0.025 seconds.
  10. Yeah, what's up with that? As a Bills fan, I am _seriously_ concerned if one of my coaches is wearing Andre Reed's footprints on his back.
  11. And I thought I saw offensive linemen in Bills jerseys, but you know, the snow plays tricks on your eyes.
  12. I have seats in the Maguire club. Outdoors is the only place you want to be when watching a football game :-) Excellent seats, very comfortable. The private bathrooms are nice, as is the bar that's open all game long (not to mention the waitress service!) The heated seats are a nice touch, and they help out on the colder days. It's nice to not have to deal with the mobs of people, too. And don't look at it as getting soft, either -- think of it as a reward for your hard work over the years :-)
  13. Tim Tindale had more heart in his little finger than Moulds (or Clements, or Adams, or Milloy, or...) has in his entire body. INCLUDING THE COLON!
  14. You may have hit on something there. One suspicion I had on Sunday was that Moulds was pouting about the "rookie" QB again. If that is the case, then no amount of coddling will make Moulds happy, so either goes, or JPL goes.
  15. We lost that game, too. I don't think we've ever won a game in which we've scored a safety. Can anyone find out?
  16. Anyone think that Sam Wyche might just be the offensive coordinator next year?
  17. What kills me is that in the second half of last season, these coaches could do no wrong. So they have it in them... what gives?
  18. We raised $1700 for the Red Cross with our annual raffle/auction event. Thanks!
  19. We still probably would have gotten smoked but at least with a JR touchdown in the first quarted we would have shown some life. Cut him and let Roscoe play the slot from now on.
  20. IIRC, Dick Vermeil had never lost to the Bills, until last week.
  21. It won't happen because the Chargers are wearing their throwbacks, which are dark (so to speak). If we had white throwbacks, I could see this happening.
  22. Channel 4 in Boston also is claiming they will show the Jets game. Suprising, because of the Bills being the closest team to the Pats in the division.
