I have mixed feelings on this. On the one hand this guy is a human being, but on the other hand he’s a total jerk too.. Whatever I guess..
-
I suspect that they will post similar numbers… 80-85 catches for 800-1,000 yards and 6-8 TDs..

Or just moving on from underperforming assets.
Maybe it’s too much work for him as well? Owning various sports franchises can be a lot of work, maybe he can’t put 100% into all of his businesses endeavors at once?..

Mostly true. A deep-pocketed new owner might not blink at an $850 million penalty.
I would assume that Mr. Pegula is under contract with NYS. I think if anything, Pegs is consolidating his businesses so they’re easier to manage. Maybe he wants to spend more time with his family?

With a new stadium, the Bills are going nowhere..

This list is absurd.

Obviously I think Josh Allen will continue to excel and become a better player if that’s possible, but for me, I am very excited about our defense. Buffalo added so much talent here through the draft and through FA etc that I think Buffalo will have a top 5-10 unit..
On the DL we added Bosa, Jackson, Sanders, Walker and Ogunjobi to a unit that already boasted of Rousseau, Oliver, Epenesa, Carter and Solomon..
We spent a #1 on Maxwell Hairston to pair with Christian Benford and we signed and drafted loads of depth behind them.. Our secondary looks stacked..
Is there a weakness on this Bills team? What happens when you combine a top 5 offense with a top 10 defense?

He’s got to at least get to a SB. No QB since Warren Moon has made it without that criteria
One SB at least, I think anything less than two is a poor reflection on this franchise..

He's basically been retired for years with the Jets
He was very good if not elite while healthy though. He seemed washed after his first year or two with Jets however..

In what's sure to be a hot take: James Cook.
His speed, vision, and elusiveness is so fun to watch.
I was waiting for that.. I suspect we’ll see a lot of love for Shakir too..

For me it has to be Greg Rousseau. I really like the way he plays football a lot. I truly do believe that he will be a 10+ sack, meat and potato type of DE.. He has developed well over the last 4-5 years and I still think he has upside..
Honorable mention for me is Dawson Knox. I have been highly disappointed with his play over the last two years, at one point I thought he was a top 10 TE in the NFL. When he is in a groove he is an absolute menace to defenses. I really wish he would rebound and be the player that we all know and love.
Who do you guys got???

Uh, oh! Somebody better call Batman.

Without Josh?? 6-7 wins tops..

I think if any receiver on this team takes a leap, I think it will be Dalton Kincaid.
If Keon can develop into a high end WR2 though I’d be floored..

1.) Dalton Kincaid: With the emergence of Khalil Shakir last year, I think if Dalton Kincaid can step up this year and be “that guy” for Josh, our offense will continue rolling. Can he step up and be the guy that we drafted him to be?
2.) Cole Bishop: Taylor Rapp proved to be a solid safety for us last year, but Buffalo needs more depth and consistency at the position. Can Bishop help fill that void left by Micah Hyde and Jordan Poyer?
3.) Tyler Bass: Can he step up and close games out like the assassin that we all know he can be? Can Tyler Bass be Buffalo’s version of Adam Vinatieri?
Honorable mentions: Keon Coleman, Dawson Knox, TJ Sanders, Deone Walker and Maxwell Hairston.

It would take more than that for me. Maybe $40K+ and I would really have to think about it.

Um, I think many have effectively said this. When you say that we have to get Cook back because he's really good, you're saying that price shouldn't be a factor.
My argument here points out what should be obvious but is being ignored by an awful lot of people and posts here that walk around with their fingers in their ears saying "Not listening," when you try to mention price. Many many many posts on here are trying to pretend that this is a yes/no argument, that yes we need to keep him no matter what, period.
This proves that there absolutely is a point at which he would not be worth it. Many want to ignore this because it's convenient to their narrative. There is absolutely a point at which we'd be paying too much. And frankly $15M is past that line for most on here, which is why money doesn't get mentioned in many of these posts that say, "Just get him."
I think $10M-$11M/year would put him in the top 7th-8th overall as far as the top RBs are concerned.. I would pay him at that price..

Jackson is a 3rd round rookie, he's gonna be in line to get those Smoot snaps but if Solomon proves to be having a better camp/pre-season he could jump him.
I love Solomon, I see him as more of a Lorenzo Alexander/Haason Reddick type of player than as a pure DE.
Can he develop into a SLB who can also stop the run in heavy sets is the question I have.
I think we can expect about 5-6 sacks out of him while also serving as a STs ace.. Maybe more..
Fun player..

Your take was that he's "not doing the right things", "isn't a team player", and compared him to Diggs.
Now you're moving the goal posts to he won't be a Bill next season. I think even the ones (like myself) who are saying you're taking things too far see that as likely.
My dude - you're the one comparing him to Diggs, still holding a grudge and saying "let's see how this ages" even after he showed up to Mini Camp and didn't even "Hold In".
If anyone's (strangely) taking things too personally, it's you.
Sorry you see it that way. The way I see it is Buffalo and Cook are not quite seeing eye to eye as far as the bottom line is concerned..
And I do love Cook the player.. He was one of my favorite players the year he came out. I think he’s a great player but I think he may be asking for too much.. I would love him on a 2yr $20M deal or a 2yr $22M deal but in the end I think he’s really looking to cash in.
I see this as a business transaction whereas other fans see their favorite player that they want to see re-signed. I love the guy but at a price..

I’m not upset at all, just pointing out how absurd your statements have been. Reading your stuff lately, you seem like it’s a personal attack on you that he wasn’t at OTAs or made some tweets. But that’s cool, deflect if you need to
No, sir. I’m sorry, I don’t mean to come off as inflammatory, I just think that Cook is asking for too much, which is why I referenced his tweets and his brother’s tweets. I think $10M-$11M/year is about right, but in the end I think he wants much more than that.
Anyways, sorry for the confusion..

What Are You Most Excited About This Coming Season?

It’s always nice to see our offense firing on all cylinders, but I’m not going to lie, it would be nice to see our defense take over a game or two and carry this team on their backs..
