  1. Pederson? for the record I’m hoping McDermott can get back to last year’s offense somehow. If they simply improve red zone play calling they could be there. Otherwise, he may try to build a running team this offseason. If he tries that I hope he’s gone sooner than later.
  2. Rex Ryan, Doug Marrone. Just two names off the top of my head that are capable of taking a team to the AFCCG. They’re available! but seriously, McDermott hasn’t won anything other than an AFC east that had 3 teams in early rebuild. If last years offense can show up again I’m all for keeping him. Otherwise, his in-game decisions are going to handcuff any real chance of a super bowl. someone mentioned Doug Pederson as an upgrade. I’m not completely sure what went wrong in Philly but I think a lot of injuries were involved. edit: as for the roster turnover; I believe we are in store for that anyway.
  3. Although they proved they are capable of passing the ball in the worst windy conditions last night. They chose not to for 3.5 quarters, then when NE knew they had to pass they were still effective at it. The choice to not throw out of fear is what I'm talking about.
  4. Having some time to think it over, I'm slightly more optimistic about this season. (edit: compared to immediately after the game) So many "what ifs", kind of like the Houston playoff game, where if one thing goes right they end up winning. They could absolutely beat the Bucs or Patriots or both. Every game remaining game is 50/50 to me. That being said, half of those "what ifs" are deliberate decisions by this head coach and/or OC. It's hard enough to win a Super Bowl, you have to beat the other teams, the injury bug, sometimes the refs, and the Bills with McDermott also have to overcome his in-game decisions. So although I still think we have a chance this season, I think it's the same small chance they'll have going forward with McDermott at the helm.
  5. Maybe with a lot of luck. He definitely makes it harder to win with his in-game decisions.
  6. That’s my point. Go ahead and blame him for fumbling, but don’t excuse McDermott for his choices that happen week in and week out. when I played sports my coaches would always say “no mental mistakes” The same goes for this coach. It’s inexcusable.
  7. The difference is Brenda didn’t choose to fumble. McDermott chose to use 2 timeouts and not go for 2. Im not 100% sure he’s not the one behind the conservative play calling in the red zone either. Everyone wants to blame Daboll, and fair enough, but his boss could maybe say something to him.
  8. Nope. You’re either playing dumb or had a recent head injury. Still all good though.
  9. I disagree I think he did do all those things
  10. You implied that he got us to a Super Bowl. I pointed out we havent been there since the 90s. How’s that random?
  11. McDermott is a bad coach I don’t know how you can defend any of his decisions tonight.
  12. Then we would have lost 14-9. Lol are you serious?!
  13. We somehow got a good QB. Wasting a year of his prime though. we haven’t made the Super Bowl since the 90s by the way. Rex Ryan made the AFC championship twice in a row.
  14. If they’re really gonna build an open air stadium across the effing street I hope they just move to Austin instead.
  15. Should we Run up the middle for one yard here?
  16. So glad I put him on the hot seat in the 3rd quarter.
  17. You know what they say, Play to lose by one sometimes you lose by 4.
  18. We are actually gonna lose by 1 pt because we didn’t go for 2 in the first
