Is there a scenario where the Bills would get the winner of this game in the wildcard round? I don't think there is.
From memory both the Colts and Texans were ahead of the Steelers in the standings heading into this week. That means the winner will go above them in the standings. The only way the Steelers won't be the seventh seed is if the Bills and Jags both lose.
There is easily a scenario.
Bills win + Jags win would result in the following:
#2 Buffalo vs #7 Houston/Ind winner
#3 KC vs #6 Miami
#4 Jax vs #5 Cleveland

Will the playoff committee keep the Steelers out due to them not being same team without Watt???

I don't care how they did it. They still won the games they needed to put them in a spot to make the playoffs.
Well, actually they haven't. They need us or the Jags to lose still

Assuming we win tomorrow, do we play the winner of Texans/Colts in round 1?
Not necessarily. The result of the Jags game still factors in

Calling a 10 win team that beat the Bengals twice, the Ravens twice, the Texans, the Browns with Watson, the Rams, and the Seahawks while having nobodies at QB. LOL. The team is not trash. They just don't have a star QB.
Sorry man, we just don't agree.
They are not a good football team. Good football teams don't have negative point differentials over a 17 game season or get outgained in their first 9 games, setting an NFL record in the process. They are a fluke and will be gone first game if they somehow make the playoffs

This game will be a figment of the imagination in 24 hours. The notion they’d play starters to win this game in a monsoon could only be conjured by petulant Bills fans.Ok Tua

Ravens will put themselves in one hell of a position if the Steelers get in and they get Baltimore in the divisional round.
Could you imagine letting your division rival in and then they eliminate you?
If that happened it might be the one time I actually root for the Steelers. Which of course means they would probably lose 😭

You know what?
scree harbaugh and the ravens
i hope they get blown out for taking 2 weeks off!!!!!
they are gonna get risked in divisional round and they got swept by the crappy steelers
i hope they reap something bad ugh
Honestly this is how I feel, but that doesn't matter.
It just seems like Baltimore is playing with fire taking basically 3 weeks off, especially after it burned them in 2019. You don't have to be a jaded Bills fan to think that if they stumble in their first postseason game they kind of deserve it.

He's proven he can lead his team to a Lombardi Trophy.
I've always like Tomlin. He's tough and a straight shooter.
His team sucks this year and they are playoff bound.
His team has been mediocre every year for the last decade. Even in 2020 when they started like 12-0, they were incredibly lucky in nearly every game and did absolutely nothing in the postseason.
I mean, for crying out loud Pittsburgh was out gained in yards the first 9 games of the year this year. They are trash

they beat them earlier in the year already
Do you really believe Pittsburgh would have won this game if Baltimore played Jackson as they should have?

They have finished off the season well when it looked off the rails when they lost to the Cardinals and Patriots … he deserves some credit in my viewWould they have won this game had Harbaugh not decided to lay down?
Just now, Billsfanatic8989 said:So if the Jags win, we are in no matter what happens tomorrow night?
If the Jags lose, not win

Great coaching job by Tomlin this year. Switched out Picket for Rudolph was a nice move.
The guy has won like one playoff game in nearly a decade and ridiculously held on to his offensive coordinator when anyone with functional eyes could see he needed to go. Not sure his coaching deserves this much praise

I love all the Mike Tomlin adulation now from the announcers. 3 weeks ago he was horrible for not having control of his players and was on his way out
-
The team that lost back to back home games against the Cardinals and Patriots could be in the playoffs lol
-
I really hate the Pennsyltucky Rednecks. Oh well, the Bills dug their own hole and have to take care of business tomorrow

and beat the Ravens earlier in the season when starters were playing.
Not sure what the point of this response is. A team with a negative point differential (such as the 2017 Bills) in the postseason is a fluke and not deserving of being there. It's like winning your division with a losing record
-
I'm with everyone else who hopes Baltimore loses their first game. They'll deserve it after laying down today against their biggest rival

For those wondering, the Steelers have a -27 point differential

They're an embarrassment every year. Always the slimmest fat kid who is still going to get his ass kicked

You just knew Melvin Gordon would put one on the ground. The most fumble prone back ever in a monsoon lol

Why would you have a TE in Okonkwo blocking one on one against Travon Walker?
