Piss off Kentucky!

Except due to injuries over the past two seasons most everyone on the Ravens has played and contributed, even Huntley the backup QB. The Steelers will not roll Baltimore. Pittsburgh could win, but either way i think it will be very close to the end.
Agreed, mostly because Pittsburgh doesn't roll anyone. The Ravens 2nd and 3rd string defense is probably as good as Seattle's 1st string

Who is Miami likely to play if they lose to Buffalo and which seed would they be?
They will be at KC guaranteed if they lose

Nah. I want them going in not knowing and playing like they HAVE to win. Not knowing they have a safety net could lead to better results.
I get it, it's a legit viewpoint. You could make a good argument either way

I know I'm likely in the minority, but I'm hoping for the Saturday night game. One less day for the Fins to get healthy.
Thought about that, but I think knowing the results of the Jags and Steelers games ahead of time would be a good thing

Have they sat in the past?Yes, with not so great results. Wouldn't surprise me if Baltimore plays some starters. Two consecutive bye weeks is a bit much

Cincy is such a team of dirtbags that I don't feel bad for them when it comes to calls

We just need a Jags or Steelers loss right?
IF the Chiefs hold on to win

Not a good onside. If you kick that through the endzone, with 2:01 and 2 timeouts, a stop gets you the ball back with enough time to go down and score. Now you lose 40 extra seconds even if you get the stops and get pinned deeper. Unless the clock starts on the kick, I don't remember.
No, you are correct. That was a mind boggling decision by Carroll

Seahawks defense is an embarrassment. That team should not be in the playoffs but will probably still get in
-
Why an onside kick in that situation by Seattle? Could've kicked it deep and still got the ball back with reasonable field position and over a minute on the clock

So what's the scenario if kc and steelers win?
See Gonzo's post above

So assuming the Bengals lose, if the Bills lose they need a Steelers loss to the Ravens or a Jags loss to the Titans
This. Let's just hope KC can hold on or Buffalo would then need 2 of 3 losses between Jax, Cincy, and Pit (if we lose to Miami)

Mason Rudolph lighting it up in Seattle - exactly what The NY Times odds machine thought.
Honestly not surprised by this at all. Rudolph is not great but clearly better than Pickett or Trubisky, plus Pittsburgh plays a physical style of ball and Seattle is the antithesis of tough on defense

Seattle defense is ass

Browning honestly looks almost as good as Burrow in that offense

So what happens if the bills lose next week, the Steelers go one and one and the Bengals lose out? Don't we still make the playoffs in that scenario?
In that scenario, yes. I was just saying we need at least one of the two to lose this week because it seems unlikely both will lose next week.

The Browns will be resting starters as well, won't they? They're guaranteed fifth seed.
Correct.
We need some help in the 4 pm games or else it's likely a must win against the Dolphins

Just now, BRH said:
So if Miami loses next week, do they have the same chance of missing the playoffs or is everyone just doom and gloom about us as usual?
No because unlike the Bills they have already clinched a playoff spot, even with a loss next week
-
5 minutes ago, Gman10 said:
We only really need one team to win, don't we?
Need both to clinch this week. At the very least one of Cincy or Pittsburgh better lose today. We may be looking at a win the division or miss the playoffs entirely scenario otherwise.
The Jags are playing Tennessee next week without Levis, and the Bengals/Steelers would both potentially play teams resting starters (neither the Ravens or Browns can improve their playoff positioning)

Go Seahawks.
Not off to great starts, just like the early games

is anyone really surprised
No. After the Murray run and then punt that was as predictable as could be

Didn't see that on Howard. I thought all McDaniel said was he was unsure of the severity of the injury. He was downgraded from questionable to out during the Ravens game though, so that doesn't sound great for him
