Bengals D playing well
That's an understatement. Burrow will get the credit (just like in the entire Super Bowl run), but the Bengals defense was outstanding tonight

Speaking of hatred, not sure there is any player in the NFL I hate more than Mike Gesicki. What a toolbag

Most of that holding in check is two Lamar blunders and a Likely blunder. They get some credit for causing it but it was avoidable stuff.
Not saying you're wrong, but more pointing out that Burrow is not the only factor in Cincy's performance. The numbers bear that out. He's played solid but has hardly been some unstoppable force. That seems to be where the narrative is heading though

Burrow is so good. Next week will be tough.
He's averaging 5.7 ypa. That's not exactly lighting the world on fire. The Bengals terrible defense deserves as much credit for holding the Ravens in check

burrow and his WRs are so off
But he'll put up gaudy numbers as always because he throws the ball so often. Dude has attempted 32 passes in the first half lol

KC Chiefs in big trouble. Odds of them making Wildcard are extremely low.
No game is a gimme.
They need to win out. 3 tougher games (HOU, DEN, LAC) and 2 gimmes (TEN, LV). Unfortunately, all of the challenging games are at home. They're not dead yet, but definitely on the brink

Dallas just kill clock, don't have to be stupid.
Need to do more than kill clock. Dallas needs at least 2 first downs to put the game away

Don't think that any playoff team will fear Kareem hunt and pancheo come play off time
Every team in the NFL has a couple of weeks where they run the ball solid
They're not a team who's run game strikes fear in me
Kareem hunt averaged 3.5 yards per carry last week when he went for over a hundred yards
Still kind of plodding
Hunt is their best back by a decent margin imo. Pacheco is one of the worst running backs in football

Detroit is playing with zero urgency, I have no clue what the plan is here. They trust their defense to get a quick stop?
They could be in the exact same position down 31-24 and have 5 1/2 minutes left on the clock instead of 3. The huddling is insane when you are trailing. There is a limited amount of possessions remaining and your defense struggles to stop anything.

If the Patriots win the AFC East they have a very fun 2026 to look forward to:
At Bears
At Lions
At Chiefs
At Chargers
At #1 AFC South (Indy)
At #1 NFC West (Rams)
That's brutal on the road
home....
Broncos
Raiders
Packers
Vikings
AFC North #1 (Ravens)
even if they get the second and we somehow beat them we replace: Seahawks, Steelers, and Jags...
There set in stone AWAY games are brutal.
That's the one thing that could help even the playing field and prevent them from pulling away from the Bills too much, despite the massive edge in salary cap space. It will be nice to see them picking at the bottom of the 1st round as well. They do have quite a lot of picks though, including 2 4th's and 4 6th's.

Higgins injury looked scary I think he was knocked out for a second.. he may not be back for a bit.
Yeah it definitely looked rough. It's possible he could still be out.
Forgot to mention but Hendrickson missing another game certainly helped to offset the Oline injuries. I fully expect him back for the Bills too the way our season is going.

I think it's cute how the Pats play Cincy without Burrow and we get to play him after he warms up for a week or two.
Count your blessings PatsFan!!
And Chase. And Higgins for a stretch. Maybe Chase will spit on someone from Baltimore Thanksgiving night?
Jokes aside you know we'll be playing both those guys plus Burrow by the time our game rolls around, then we get the Pats coming off the bye

The Carolina Panthers already look to be a win away tomorrow from being in first place. This has been a completely unpredictable NFL season

The doomers are strong in this thread. The Bills just have to go 3-3 to make the playoffs. There is a small chance that if one of the losses is Pittsburgh then they miss due to tie breakers, but I don’t think it’s likely.
If we can’t go 3-3 the rest of the way we don’t deserve to get in anyway.
This is not necessarily true. The Bills can certainly get in at 10-7 but it will matter which games they win and require at least some decent fortune in other AFC results. For instance, if the Bills beat PHI/NYJ/CLE but lose to PIT/CIN/NE, they are completely screwed.

I do not see them beating the Steelers. TJ Watt is going to abuse whoever is supposed to block him. I think Josh will be running for his life again.
If we do it is likely going to be the same way a victory would've happened against the Texans - very, very ugly. At this point sign me up. We need a W in the worst way, especially given our struggles on the road

I'm not even sure if 4-2 the rest of the way will get us to the playoffs, but we at least need to do that to have a chance.
This is what I was just wondering. It likely will be good enough, but we may need to go 4-2 to ensure we get in. We already have a worse AFC record than all but Kansas City

This week was really bad for the Bills and the playoffs. I wonder what the change was in playoff percentage before this week and after?
It was 87 percent (albeit after the loss to Houston) to 82 percent now. That is a significant hit in one afternoon of football. The NYT model has us back up at 92 percent with a win against Pittsburgh but down to 64 with a loss. Next week is close to a must win - we would likely drop to 9th with a loss

Just a disastrous week for the Bills. Not a single game went their way. Lose against Pittsburgh and we are in deep, deep trouble

WTF was Arizona doing?!!! They had time to spike and get a good shot at the end zone!!! Every coach in the history of football would’ve went for the win at least 1 and possibly two times!!! These bad teams every week show me just why they’re bad teams!!!
Gannon is just a bad coach. He is guaranteed to get fired on Black Monday imo

I like how pissed Calais Campbell was at losing that coin toss

How do you complete that great play and then waste so much time off the clock that you don't even get a realistic shot at a game winning touchdown 😂

What a ridiculous decision by Arizona to go for it on 4th and 12 when you have all 3 timeouts and the two minute warning

How bad has Jonathan Gannon been as head coach? His days are extremely numbered

Thanksgiving Day game thread (no Bills stuff please)

They do this literally every season - get behind the 8 ball by starting out terribly, make a run in the 2nd half, and ultimately fall short
