    Bobby Okereke?
    Pete Werner/Damario Davis?

Okereke would be absolutely amazing. I still remember that 10-9 game against the Giants from a few years ago where Taron Johnson interfered with Waller on the last play of the game. Okereke was all over the field. Dude balls out every time I've seen him play.

If Matt has a hamstring issue then certainly rest him this week. The Dolphins offense will require him to be running at full speed the vast majority of the game. Get him 💯 for the Saints game with the extra rest.

I would rest him for that game too. The point spread against the Saints might be the largest in the entire NFL this year

Interesting to see the 2 different approaches from each team-the Bills get Josh out of the game with things in hand, meanwhile not only do the Ravens keep Jackson in the game, but they have him throwing while up 24 with less than 5 minutes to go. It’s almost like Baltimore is trying to pad his stats already…it’s actually pretty sad

They did it all last year as well. I like Lamar but he and the Ravens obviously place a high priority on his numbers

Worthy by himself isn't much of a needle mover. But put Rice out there too drawing some coverage his way and he has a better shot to burn you.

Problem right now is the Chiefs have no run game since Pacheco got hurt last year. Their offense is very unbalanced and can't overcome.

I'll be honest - I think Pacheco has been overrated from the get go. Sure he is a physical runner, but he has no game breaking ability. There are lots of guys that run hard, but it seems to me he got too much hype a) because he plays for the Chiefs and b) his crazy legs running style.

Maybe I’m just an old dude.   But I don’t like this kind of stuff.   It’s clearly all fake, I would think anyone can see that.  But there’s something about it that just seems wrong.   Stay humble, stay classy.   More often than not… we’re on the wrong end of games like that.

I understand what you're saying. I'm not a big celebratory or smack-talking kind of guy. But this stuff is pretty hilarious. However as SoonerBillsFan said, it can be turned around on us so you got to be able to take it if you're going to dish it out. I think the only reason this stuff even exists is because it was Baltimore/Lamar and Buffalo/Josh and there's (stupidly) a ton of animosity built up between the fan bases.

Caleb Williams doesn’t give Ben Johnson much to work with, but I can’t say I’m impressed with his first game as HC. I haven’t seen any of this genius creativity, and he’s been out coached.

Just was going to post the same thing. He got so much hype for a couple of years now. Just because you are a respected playcaller doesn't necessarily mean you will be a good head coach. I'm getting Mike McDaniels vibes already.

I was the first on this board to bring up Bass having problems. Everyone rolled their eyes at me saying he's fine. I've been critical of him ever since. Thought he mostly  redeemed himself last year.

This is a tough situation or will be if Bass gets healthy after that 4 week window. Id rather see how Prater does in bad weather. Id rather see how his leg holds up over the course, but we aren't going to see that in the next 3 weeks. Potentially the weather thing. I'd rather not take a cap hit for a guy that may still be a good kicker when healthy for a guy that is probably on his last season. I'm certainly not going to judge a kicker based on week one just because he made a few easy field goals. He did hit a 52 yarder and IIRC they were all pretty much dead center though so it's a good start. We never know how an older player is going to hold up for an entire season though.

Tough call. Glad I'm not the one that has to make it.

I look at it in terms of reliability for a team with Super Bowl aspirations. You can clearly see that Prater (and most kickers in the league for that matter) strike the ball straighter and cleaner than Bass. It's a big advantage to have someone who you know is going to put the ball through the uprights with accuracy. People talk about Bass' percentage, which is mediocre, but even many of the kicks that he makes are near misses. I'm not messing around with this situation, regardless of if Prater's leg has diminished or the range becomes shorter when the weather turns. Bass was lucky to still have a job with the Bills, so it's not like he is owed anything or that this would be a Wally Pipp situation. The Bills would be crazy to go back to him imo.

i mean this will absolutely stay with this defense all season. just humiliating. Lamar and Henry are just playing with them.

If the Babich D gets roasted over the next couple games he should get relieved of his duties just to sacrifice someone

Does it matter if they look improved over the season against mostly sub par opponents? This is a damning indictment of what we can expect from our "new look"  defenses when the real games and teams arrive
