What are going to be the tweaks

we have very little pass rush

we are worst in stopping the run

    our LBs are pathetic

    our DBs are below average

money is stuck in all of them and cannot be easily moved.  Groot, Benford, Bernard, Johnson

We need replacements in 2026 for the following as they are FA

Ogunjobie, Bosa, Milano, White, Epensa, Jones, Porter, Shaq.

your draft picks have not panned out - Anderson, Solomon,

both Hoecht and Oliver will be coming from serious injuries. Who know how their rehab will go or if they will be back in their prime.

they say typically you have a 30% roster turnover.  But this is disaster

    this is just the defense.

We don't need a tear down and rebuild. I think people forget that we are 7-4. A 7-4 team needs tweaks. Not a full blown rebuild.

Not if someone plucks him off waivers.

And lost to the Chiefs hmmmmmmm? Feels familiar but he's also gave big contracts to several guys that no longer in team. Gave up three 1sts for a bust of a QB.

Yeah, but he also made a 7th round pick that worked out at QB and has went to a Super Bowl with

Assuming he catches the ball in-bounds and the Bills punch it in for a TD...

That would HAVE to rank at or near the top of Allen's most memorable game winning drives, right??

That catch happens and a lot of the narratives today are flat out erased and/or minimized because the dominating narrative would be stuff like "no matter how ugly it is, the Bills will always have a chance because they have Josh Allen"

I don't typically agree with stuff that Dion Dawkins says, but he was right when he said "it's a game of inches" and mentioned the Davis play.

I realize this is another hindsight post, but it has always been fascinating to me, how such small margins will dictate perception and outlook.

If the Bills win, the Bills defense is still poor and decimated by injuries, the offense is still an inconsistent mess, and yet, you wouldn't be hearing nearly as much about it... if Gabe Davis got a second foot in-bounds.

For me, personally, that play is the first thing that comes to mind when I reflect on last night's game. What an unfortunate wasted opportunity. That truly would have made this another one of Allen's memorable moments and it would have made that 4th and 27 conversion even more special.

I wanted them to show it from the front. Because the way his foot was out of bounds it looked like his toes may have been in bounds first but you couldn't tell them from the back angle they had

    Steelers: Loss

    Bengals: Loss

    Patriots: Loss

    Browns: Win

    Eagle: Loss

    Jets: Win

It's going to be a 9-8 season. 10-7 if things go really well.

Lol. I feel like most people that say 9-8 want to be 9-8. We aren't going 9-8. We have 6 games left. Jets and Browns should be wins. That gives us 9 right there. Then all we gotta do is go 2-2 in the other 4. Completely doable. 11-6 is where I think we go

  5. Pegula to McDermott:

    Pegula: Hey Sean

McDermott: Hey, Terry. How are you?

Pegula: Good. Good. I was wondering if you thought that stadium across the street was really nice?

    McDermott: Excuse me

Pegula: The stadium....across the street....do you like it? Do you think it looks beautiful?

    McDermott: Why are you asking?

Pegula: I was wondering if you wanted to be the head coach in that stadium next year

    McDermott: I'm sorry, I don't follow

Pegula: The stadium across the street. Do you wanna be the head coach in it next year?

    McDermott: Um. Yes

Pegula: Then I suggest you make some big changes this year. Without a trophy, no new stadium

    McDermott: But wait

Pegula: No trophy, no new stadium. Also, I didn't see Brandon in his office. Do you know where he went?

McDermott: I have no idea. Why?

Pegula: Don't worry, I'll find him. Remember what I said, no trophy, no new stadium. Brandon is about to find out to

Pegula sees a batch of chocolate chip cookies on McDermott's desk as he exits.

Pegula: I'll take one of these. But remember....remember. Have a good day

Stay tuned for the conversation with Brandon Beane

WE miss Diggs as a play maker.   This may not be popular, but that guy had the knack to get open and give Allen a chance.  The same was with Cole.  We are missing those guys so badly on this offense.  Shakir has also been a BIG disappointment.   We paid him money for being a WR and not a catch at scrimmage and try making 5-7 yards (and get lucky once in a while).   There were zero slant passes to him to move the chains.

It's crazy when you call the days of Diggs, Beasley and John Brown as the good old days

Well, silver lining is if we clinch a WC spot early but can’t win the division, maybe we rest guys so that we aren’t the 5 seed lined up to play the Ravens.  Would rather play one of the other division winners in Round 1, and then if we won as the 6 or 7 seed, we’d likely then play whomever the 1 seed is.

I honestly kinda would hope to get New England round 1 and then if we win that game, go to Denver with the Broncos as the 1 seed in round 2. The Broncos have a great defense but their offense is terrible. They beat the Jets 13-11 and the Raiders 10-7. Those would be the 2 matchups if I had to pick, that I would prefer

Even if the Bills take on massive dead cap hits over the next two years, they still have to find a way to fix the issues via draft and bargain basement FA.

Anyone have faith that the current regime(front office AND coaching staff) can accomplish this, or will it be more JA prime years flushed down the drain?

Man, if you didn't put that in parentheses, I never would have known what you meant
