Agreed. Outward appearances and social media posts tend to be a person's highlight reel. They show us their TDs but don't mention the INTs.

Social media is a cancer.   I see why kids get so crazy about it and feel inferior to their “friends “. Well stated it’s a highlight reel.  I don’t know anyone who is always happy like their photos show.

If that were true the planet would be named Myanus.

Maybe he was looking fondly at the scientist next to him and had one of those “did I say that outloud moments”

The name "Uranus" was first proposed by German astronomer Johann Elert Bode in order for it to be in conformity with the other planetary names - which are from classical mythology. Uranus is the ancient Greek deity of the Heavens, the earliest supreme god.

So if I call my boss the Chief ####### it’s really a compliment. HR shouldn’t have an issue then.

  3. 29-17 Bills. Tua sacked in end zone and our defense beats them up hard.  He leaves game not to return

Hill is slowed by his foot injury and the weather and fumbles on two occasions which causes McDorkel to pull him

miami fans are leaving the stadium by early Q4 with their PhinHeaven flooded with “NFL is rigged talk and that Goodell ordered Hills house to be set on fire as a distraction. “

for a time all is good in Bills land…until well, we start our own crazy fan talk. And I wouldn’t have it any other way even after we hoist the Lombardi this year

    Bye bye Belichick

When he leaves NE and his new team fails to have success, can we put the narrative to bed that he is the best HC of all time?  This soon to be had experiment should prove it was 75% Brady, 15% BB, and 10% “other “.

  5. I am so on the fence about McD. Sometimes I want him tarred and feathered and others I think he’s brought stability and accountability to the organization.

I dont worry about burning through OC and DC staff. If they stink then make a change.  The best HR people in any business at best hit 50% good hires-and they will tell you there’s luck involved too to get there.    A poor leader will hold onto their bad hires to avoid criticism.  Frazier was weak-and not a leader.  Daboll was better than average and had potential.  Dorsey was a moron and McD mistake was not firing him three games sooner.  Jury out on Brady though I’m very hopeful.

the only delta is if McD mettles in the offense and forces Brady to be more like  Dorsey.  If that’s the case then he needs to go full stop

Many folks here rightly think that the Bills are capable of beating any team. Pretty much everyone recognizes we are inconsistent. Many have frequently questioned the acumen of our head coach, and some wonder about officiating. Few are arrogant and dim in the manner you insinuate. It's a trollish exaggeration.

It's absolutely true that Miami has only beaten one team with a winning record. That does not mean they are really not that good, but they have yet to establish they can beat clearly good teams. Dallas on the road is not a very good team. The Cowboys are not coached by a genius. And Miami did not win convincingly. If they beat the Ravens, the narrative will change.

I have not read anyone arrogantly assuming an easy win on the road against a team with a prolific offense. Folks have noted the decimated Miami oline, and that Josh Allen normally plays well against the Fish. There is reason for guarded optimism, and naturally, many thought the season was over after the injuries that hit in London, and excruciating losses. We've rebounded like we did in 2021, so folks are both relieved and happy, thinking we might indeed be able to go on a Super Bowl run. If all you can do is mock that, it says more about you than the majority of posters here.

There is no place or tolerance on this board for logic and well executed thoughts.

please refrain from such behaviour in the future.

The reality is we were lucky yesterday.  Josh was bad Josh until the last drive.  Cook had a pivotal fumble.  The defense let a guy with no experience in the league almost win the game for the Bolts.  The only guy that played really well was Oliver.

Just admit they sucked yesterday and got lucky.  They won’t be that bad every game; I suspect they’ll squish the Fish like Josh always does.  But they sucked yesterday and have too many times this year against inferior competition and that’s why they’re in the position they’re in.

I wish I got lucky last night too

You know he was drafted 10th overall, right? After Mitch Tribusky? and they traded a MVP candidate receiver before last year? And he had a high ankle sprain that knocked him out a playoff game and battled through it to win a SB?

    That’s adversity???

  9. At this point testing really shows nothing.  I’m in the business and testing causes so many issues that it’s crazy.  It’s no longer any different than other many issues.

be smart, if your symptomatic with “something” be smart and take precautions for yourself and others.

I hope she’s ok and recovers well.   I is can take 3-4 + weeks to get back to normal-or even longer.

mKe sure she’s out walking and moving. It’s critical

Please explain what adversity he has faced. Top coaching, top players, media attention as “the best”. Collinsworth is still wiping his chin from the ball washing of him

    Two totally different trajectories

Mahomes has had sooo much more Tom play with yet Allen is neck and neck.

In my book Mahomes doesn’t have the heart to do what Allen does. I’m no Homer and always look at reality but give them each the exact same team , and in real games Allen would be better overall.
