82 percent of people want the coach who ended a 17 year drought, and has choked in every meaningful game since he's been here gone
So 5 out of 6 dentists approve of the firing of McDummy.

This one of the dumbest stories ever. She was on PArdon My Take and was having fun. People have to find things to get angry now. Lay off my ex. She’s a great person.
So she’s good at faking other things too😁

Gabe Davis speaks truths about Dorsey. Unfortunately, some here, on WGR, and McCoach have a narrative they want to push.
I heard Gabe ran to the wrong podium then dropped the microphone before this quote.

Maybe attack was the wrong word ...
In defense of Josh, Orlovsky tweeted today that only 3 of his 11 picks were his fault. I didn't see if the 3 were identified.
If everyone knows what's coming now, either the playbook is not deep enough or Dorsey was calling routine repetitive plays that are easily read and defended. If the latter is the case, why not just go to Dorsey and tell him to mix it up so everything is not telegraphed. Obviously there are more factors than that, i.e. quality of defense, injuries, etc but the simple answer is to mix it up. If Josh is now throwing into tight windows, why are those windows so tight ? Surely this could've been discovered on film study a few weeks ago.
ETA - Dorsey would have had Daboll's playbook to work with starting last year so I find it hard to believe he scrapped it and started over.
From what I saw of Dorsey’s actions I would assume he scrapped much of Dabolls plays to prove how much smarter he was. No evidence other than his behaviour and lack of adjustments in game.

More of the same. Josh Allen has been playing terrible. And we’re hiring the guy who has been directly coaching him to run the offense now.
Maybe we catch an opponent off guard in the first week or two with new situational decision making that wasn’t on tape before. Kind of like the raiders have since firing McDaniels. But as far as him being the answer and everything being great going forward. No. He was fired by the panthers for a reason.
I lack faith in him because the only time one of his offenses has ever looked great was when his college team had Burrow, Jefferson, Chase, Terrence Marshall, Thaddeus Moss, and Clyde Edwards Helaire. What coach wouldn’t look amazing with that group. I mean shoot they even made coach O look like he knew what he was doing for a while.
I just think his entire repuataion comes from that stacked team and he’s done nothing to inspire any confidence before or since then. Hope I’m wrong.
I think in the Heirachy the QB coach reports to the OC. If this is the case (as I suspect but do not know-confirm with Dunkirk Don for that) then that explains the difference between the Dorsey era and Daboll era.
If I had this opportunity I would make sure to separate myself from Dorsey’s obvious failures and get as granular as possible with my Franchise QB -whom
is obviously very emotional and “immature” in many respects.
-
I expect him to meet with his team and basically ask them WTF?
he needs them to own a large part of things over the last half of the season so their commitment is critical.
expect more Diggs, more Kincaid, more play action and more “involvement”.
wouldn’t be shocked to see him on the sidelines during games now. I believe Dorsey prevented that. -

Maybe just maybe, he can look at Josh's strengths and get back to those.
- Play action from under center
- Designed rollouts and QB keepers
- Stop making him overthink things and be a dinker
- Maybe take a shot downfield once in a while
What everyone has been begging for but somehow escaped Dorsey.
add in running the ball
add in adjusting to the game in real time

He should have never been hired. Another poor decision from McBeane.
I agree. I think McDermott relied on Josh’s relationship with him to make an easy decision. Josh through his body language most of this season has realized he made a mistake with Dorsey but couldn’t handle it-Josh seems like he’s a “younger” person than he is.
this has caused tension and lacking energy and his former emotion. As the QB goes, the team typically goes.

Absolutely. Odd scapegoat after your offense gives you the lead only for your defense and special teams to eff it up.
But a good coordinator would have leaned on the run much earlier and stayed with it. would most likely have made the outcome radically different.
His plays were very limited and seemed to never play against opponents weaknesses.

As some of you know, I have defended Ken Dorsey . . . and for good reason.
Dorsey Did Not Deserve to Get Fired
Yes, I know. I am a salmon swimming upstream with many of you guys and the whingers on WGR.
McCoach decided to throw Dorsey to the lions to deflect from his own issues (as has been his habit since arriving).
I have a feeling McCoach is going to be eaten by the same lions. What goes around, comes around.

By far the worst: the shirts and hats that say STAPLE on them.
WTF does that even mean?
It’s where you place the staple gun so the hats stays on at the stadium.

Let's assume, regardless of anyone's wishes, McD is safe for one more year.
IMO, the best thing he could do for himself as Head Coach is show Terry and Bills Mafia that he really is the CEO of a winning team; and fire Dorsey, fire himself, and hire a new OC and new DC.
But who is that?
Offense:
On staff we have the likes of Joe Brady and Mike Shula
Any other upcoming guys hiding as QB coaches out there?
Anyone left on the 9ers staff worth looking at?
Anyone good enough to be able to take over in 2025 if McD keeps McD-ing?
Defense:
On staff... Eric Washington?
Brandon Staley maybe?
Would Ron Rivera do it as a bridge year? Or into retirement?
Any sleepers buried on staffs I'm not thinking about? Former players...
Assuming McD stays, who is your ultimate staff next year?
I want nothing to do with Ron Rivera. He is a dud and why would we want a bridge guy?

it seems the team and McDermott just aren’t good enough. Another early playoff exit this year.
Our exit will be at the end of the last game. We are not making the playoffs as we are just plain bad. All phases all the time. Poor coaching all the way around

The joke is his $60m cap hit next year. Imagine facing kicking the dak can down the road.
JJ math at its best.

Dak will never win you a SB. He just doesn’t have it. Acts like he does, but performs like he doesn’t. I’ve never been a fan because he seems like a poser with skills to get a paycheck and attention but nothing further.
