Brady and Allen are really sucking right now

This team is rarely ever ready. I don’t see how people don’t think coaching is an issue here.

McD’s fav play

That would be quite a hit to the wallet, even for Allen. No wonder he said he started off too strong.
Haha that’s definitely not a hit to Allen’s wallet- 1

Reid is 9-6 with an elite QB. Inexcusable.
Yeah, I'm being sarcastic. And, yes, the situation with McD isn't exactly equivalent. Reid's earned patience with his trophies. McD doesn't have that cred yet. Still, they're both 9-6 this season despite having great QBs.
The Head Coach is important and should be held accountable for the performance of his team. But I like to remember that he's just one piece of a large organization that includes a lot of immature 20-something-year-old kids. I wouldn't judge Rembrandt on one of his brushstrokes. Likewise, I don't judge a coach on one season or one game, let alone 13 seconds of a game.
Vince Lombardi, Belichick, Walsh... all the great coaches suffered through disappointing seasons whether it was because of injuries, bad luck, poor player chemistry, a weak roster, or whatever. Having a good QB doesn't automatically mean a team should appear in the SB. If only it were that simple.
McD for us has had huge coaching gaffes in literally every season we’ve been in the playoffs, hasn’t learned anything or improved after 7 years here with blunder after blunder and many of them being the same kind, and has always had a defense here that folds the majority of the time in big spots. He’s been bailed out a ton by #17.
He’s also whiffed on 2 out of 3 OC hires with Brady to be determined. What happens if Brady’s good and gets hired away too, we’re back in the same boat of the offense with our franchise player hinging on who he hires again?
And yes as you mentioned, this can not compare with Reid having gone to 3 SB’s and winning 2 along with 2 AFC title game appearances. We have 1 AFC title game appearance and 3 early exits.
If we don’t make a great run to win it all this year, that’s 6 years of Allen with no ring…that absolutely is very disappointing.

You crazies that think ousting McDermott will get us a Lombardi are bonkers. We should be ECSTATIC to have such a coach here. Especially given the fact coaches aren't just around in mass quantities. Good ones that is.
Just making it to the playoffs is not the standard if you have a generational talent at QB.
We would be ecstatic about having a good coach if we did actually have one.

I think part of the reason Jackson has so few picks is that he only throws to receivers when they are open.
It’s a bold strategy- 1

So you’d prefer we don’t even get to the Super Bowl at all?No, I'm saying I'd rather not face the 49ers if we do. Talk about strawmen.

No way, one of McD’s strengths is having time to prepare. And you wouldn’t take 3 INTs from Purdy in the 1st half of the Super Bowl?
Sure, but I don’t think that would happen against us.
I don’t know how some of you scoff at facing these teams on the big stage when McD’s been a massive choker in the postseason, especially in the biggest moments.

I take playing against this Brock Purdy in Vegas this February
I wouldn’t. Shahahan with 2 weeks to prepare would run absolute circles around McD.- 3

The media narrative against Allen is unfortunate. He is 10x the player Purdy is. Honestly impressed with Greeny campaigning for JA a bit.
Yeah imagine what Allen could do with those weapons and Shanahan over McD?- 2

I saw someone on the comments in that tweet say Jones was trying to give the ball to the Raiders fan who was reaching down that was behind the kids and then took it back when the Chiefs kids were reaching for it. Who knows.
I actually think it's kind of funny that he did it.- 1

Yeah I really thought they only needed 20 yards to win. Dicker wasn’t gonna miss the game winning 67 yarder.

Big shout out to Shakir. All 3 catches were HUGE. Also, my heart can't take this much anymore...
Yeah all of those plays were massive. If we really had a true #2 WR it would probably put everyone in the roles they should be in.

I appreciate the optimism, but that was the Bills Super Bowl as well.
If they lost, they go home. Season is likely over.
Can't let teams stick around like that. Love the win though and I'm thrilled, regardless.
Right, I'd understand that logic more if we were coasting to the playoffs and this was just another game for us. But we had much more on the line here than they did.
-
We lived to see another day, that's the most important thing here. It was over if we lost this game.
This is a pretty flawed team and I still think coaching is still a big issue. But right now just getting into the dance is everything. Had to have it.

Giff Smith and Easton Stick. Let’s let that sink in.
-
Season on the line on this drive. 100% we give it up if we don’t put it away here.
-
It’s worth it if it gets McD canned. This is such a joke.
-
This could really happen. Who’s confident we stop Stick here?
-
We need points. I have zero confidence we’re gonna stop Stick if the games on the line.

We need a big stop at the start of the 2nd half and start imposing our will
