Bout time!

I'm thinking Brian Orakpo.

I like to think that we're lucky to have an extra preseason game in which to evaluate the players & schemes. Everything (o-line, pass rush) will take some work so the more game experience the better.
-
I think the combo of the two is better. Kind of like Marion Barber & Felix Jones.

I know I'll get torched for this but if I was going to trade any of our receivers, it would be James Hardy.
Okay, I'll explain. I know he was a rookie last year but I wasn't impressed with his effort and feel he will be a bust.

Another pass to Josh Reed:
No wonder we lost so many games last year....can't our defense tackle anyone?

Owens = Moulds - We have an aged Owens. I think he has alot left in the tank but Moulds in the time of comparison was top-tier in the NFL. He would be looked at differently if his Qb situation had been better.
Evans>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Price - Price was a one trick pony who benefited from lining up across the field from a legit stud. Evans has had his ups and downs but has done it alone for most of his career. Price couldn't produce under the same circumstances, IMO.
Lynch=Henry - Travis Henry will be remembered for his mistakes in life. He was all heart for Buffalo and played just as hard as Lynch. He should have remained a Bill and had more productive seasons. This is no discredit to Lynch because I think he will end up being better than Henry.
The current group is better because of the major difference between Evans and Price, IMO.
I don't see Lynch having the same fumblitis problems that Henry had. Now, the big question is: Will Shawn Nelson be the next Jay Riemersma?

Bottom line: out of the league too long, wasn't that great to begin with, and would draw too much negative attention. We could use a more capable backup to Trent (our present & future) but not him.

My two cents: On the one hand, there is too much insensitivity in the world and on the other, people are offended by the slightest remark. I don't think there is anything wrong with jokes unless they are intending to be mean spirited.
Example: What do you call a bouncer at a gay bar? A flamethrower. To me, it's just a manipulation of slang terms to create an already existing word and is not intended to be mean-spirited.
In conclusion, I feel jokes are fine as long as their intention isn't to be denegrating.

I remember leaving after the game from the tunnel side endzone and by the time I got to the parking lot, one of the uprights was coming over the visitor side upper deck. It was fandemonium!

If the Bills do sign him and he passes his physical, he would probably man the LT spot. So how would our offensive line look? Jones - Levitre - Hangartner - Wood - Walker? Were does that leave Butler?

I knew Jeff Wright. I was the DJ at Club Diamond Dust (now Rick's Tally-Ho)on Genesee & Transit from '91-93 and he would frequent the place after road games. He had a thing for this dancer named Cheri. Anyways, I met him and he seemed like a cool guy. I remember asking him how bad did it hurt when he dislocated his kneecap? He said it went numb after a couple of minutes. Must have been the shot they gave him on the field. We could sure use him now next to Stroud.

They could be called Tackle Bells.

One overlooked aspect of the K-Gun's success was running the counter trey, Thurman's bread & butter. I think we may have not only intelligent linemen, but also the kind that can pull quick enough. And while I'm on the subject of offense, let's see some more screen plays. We've got backs that can catch.

Our LT getting beat by a speed rusher outside because of the deep drop of the QB may have more to do with the interior of our line getting pushed back into the QB's face. Hopefully, our new additions will help alleviate the chronic problem.
Teddy B could be on way out in NE
