  1. I may be in the minority but outside of adding WR and C, I don’t see many needs on the offensive side of the ball going into next season. The OL has been much better this year. If Morse retires or is cut, they’ll need to address it in the early rounds of the draft.

Defensively, we’ll  need to address S, DT, and Edge. Getting Milano and Jones back next year will be a big boost for the D.

I would assume we’ll add a punter next year.

The core issue with this team is coaching, execution, reducing offensive turnovers and  self inflicted mistakes. This has been a reoccurring issue the past three years and it’s likely gonna cost them making the playoffs.

yes, 53%.  but hardly "season is over" w loss to KC....how many years would ee be smiling with these odds in the 70's or 80's, Even a good portion of the 2000's?

Except this ISNT the 70’s, 80’s or 2000’s. This team should be a lock for the playoffs which is the minimum bar for the season. The HC has literally blown another season with rookie level head coaching and a D that can’t protect a lead in the 4th qtr after the offense has put them in a position to win.  (NYJ, NE, DEN, PHILLY) At minimum if the D did their job which is led by the HC, they wouldn’t be in this position.

The amount of blown leads under McDermott’s tenure is beyond ridiculous but unfortunately all too often the norm.

I thought Cincinnati winning (now 11th) bumped Buffalo to 12th place? Not that it matters..  12 out of 16 is horrific for this club.  I don't know how McD, Beane and Pegula can sleep at night.

We were 10th before Cinncys win last night.  Only teams lower are NE, NYJ, Raiders, Chargers and Titans!

  4. Hard to process after Cinncy’s win last night the Bills are currently in 11th place in the AFC. To state this week is a must win is an understatement. The reality is they are going to have to win out which based upon the season thus far, it’s more unlikely than likely.  11th freaking place for a team that should be dominating but yet our HC is coaching like he’s in his first year.

  5. After pissing away losses to NYJ, NE, DEN and Philly, the Bills need to win out. Lose to KC and realistically the playoffs are over barring a small miracle. For whatever reason, this team has struggled to have an identity of who they are. That is 100% a failure on McDermott not understanding the strengths of his team.  At this point, I’d estimate 60% of the fanbase no longer support him. A coach with his experience should not be making the same mistakes over and over. Worse yet, he continues to stumble against some of the worst teams in the league.

KC has to be looking at the AFC playoff contenders and know a victory would all but knock out their biggest threat. I’m sure they will bring their A game.

Knowing the talent and potential this team has, this will go down as one of the biggest disappointing seasons in a very long time.

2024 will be a make or break year for McDermott! His seat will be officially hot and rightfully so.

Root for Kansas City big over GB this weekend.  You don’t want KC coming in off a loss to play the Bills.

KC will want to deliver a knock out punch against the Bills as a victory over the Bills will likely knock them out of the playoffs. Unfortunately this team has shown they aren’t capable of going on a run this season. The coaching blunders and self inflicted mistakes IMO are just going to be too much to overcome. While I want them to do it, I think it’s more likely they finish 9-8. The losses to NYJ, NE, Den and Philly were just atrocious losses. The D gave up 30 points after halftime! 30 freakin points!

  7. IMO McDermott is more like Marvin Lewis and Marty Schottenheimer. Good coaches that can only take their teams so far. He’s done a great job turning the franchise around but does anyone have any confidence in him to make the right decisions in a close game against a quality opponent?

His list of ways to give away games compared to quality wins isn’t even close. The Baltimore playoff game is probably his best big game win and that was with a hurt Lamar during half the game.

Does anyone see this team going 5-0 or 4-1 the rest of the season? They haven’t won more than two games in a row all season. They are just as likely to finish 8-9 as they are 10-7.

Nice guy but his time has run its course.

  8. It’s been the one consistent reoccurring theme under McDermott since the Houston playoff loss. Nice guy but he’s had his time and he continues to squander the opportunities over and over again. I see zero growth and learning from him. It’s time for someone else. Otherwise I fear we’re looking at Marvin Lewis/Marty Schottenheimer led teams. Heck even Philly moved on from Andy Reid when he couldn’t get them over the hump.

  9. I love the Bills but this season has been one of my least enjoyable. During the drought your expectations were so low it felt different and didn’t matter as much.

They are a team that can beat anyone when they are on. However, the ongoing lack of consistency, execution and self inflicted mistakes combined with bad coaching is so unacceptable and keeps reoccurring. Knowing how bad the losses to  NYJ, NE and Denver were and now its a strong possibility they don’t even make the playoffs.  I just feel numb and have no clue which team is going to show up.
