I saw some stuff on how Jerry Krause basically decided after the 89 season Doug just wasn’t going to be the guy and he needed a new mentality to take down the Pistons. Insert one Phill Jackson who brought on Tex Winter to install the triangle and the rest is history.

If we are to look at the Bills through the micro-chasm that we have equal talent to the Chiefs and Bengals and player for player we kinda do. It’s obvious the blame lies with the staff for not putting the guys in the best position. There’s only so many position coaches and coordinators who can leave before we look at the coach himself.

Sean is damn good football coach but is he a closer that remains to be determined as so far the results are kinda murky.

I’d cry tears of joy if we fired McDermott today. Anybody thinking this clown is leading us to a Lombardi is delusional. Not to mention he’s holding Josh back. Allen is the reason McDermott has won.

The right offensive HC at the helm could lead us to multiple super bowls with Allen. We are truly wasting the best QB to ever put on a Bills uniform.

    Sad!

I was watching some old stuff on the NBA and it kinda hit me the parallels the Bills have to the pre Phill Jackson Bulls.
Doug Collins their coach took over a franchise that was in disarray even after drafting one Michael Jordan two years earlier.
They became a consistent playoff team under Doug but couldn’t get over the hump til management decided Doug just wasn’t the guy and brought in Phill.
Seems like the National Media is starting to ask if you have this all world QB why haven’t you gotten farther and now it appears after today the National Media is starting to kinda zero in on Sean as the scapegoat in the Steff Diggs stuff.
I like Sean alot and remember the debacle he took over from Rex but have we reached the point where if they don’t win it this year do Terry and Brandon say it’s time to go in a different direction?

Thanks a lot for stealing my thunder.

Been saying and using this analogy since the end of the KC game in January 2022.

    Simple question:

who would you want as the Bills HC in an hypothetically SB game ?

Who do you think it would be the best one in that game ?

The choice has to be between coaches still in action, retired ones doesn’t count.

    Some here will say McDermott.

That’s how much he’s loved for breaking the “drought” even tho it was Andy Dalton.

    Then, Josh Allen arrived.

Sean Payton.  With this current roster and 2 weeks to game plan, he'd be hard to beat.

I really liked how aggressive he was in 2010 vs Peyton and the Colts.

Imagine if he ever became available to come coach here?

    Would be amazing…

    Gotta be coaching, imo.

I think he's still upset that Dorsey & McD refused to get him the ball when the team needed a spark the most. Feels like he's sending a message of "If you dont think I'm that important to our success, look at what you have on the field without me". And again, this isnt about him getting touches as much as not being relied on or called upon when the team could use his contribution the most.

I'm just guessing but there really cant be much else.

    Pissed they let Daboll go.

Knows McClap and current staff aren’t good enough.

Here ya go newcam2012, PBF81 and the like, flame away. I noticed a trend a while ago here. Any attempt at a positive thread MUST be shot down by negative Nancies. Hey Einstein, are the Bengals still better than the Bills? Thing is we’ve read your negative crap already. We know! We get it! You guys make this board a ***** place IMO. Go get laid or something. Life is awesome and it sucks that people like me stay away from this place to come  back a few weeks later and the same vocal group is writing the same 💩 as weeks ago. From what I read, Allen is the only good thing we have going for us. Last thought: you guys suck and it feels like you’re taking this site with you. Enjoy.

Pretty blunt take from Colin. Wondering how others feel about what he says.

Cowherd with the mic drop. 100% spot on.

What I’ve been saying for 2+ years now.

This thread and video of him needs to be pinned at the top of this board for every poster to watch after we waste seasons after season with McClappy as HC.

When someone posts long enough, their true motives emerge...😁

True motives because if you don’t agree with every signing, draft pick, contract, or decision made by this front office and coaching staff, you aren’t a fan and have other intentions?

I’ve complemented them a lot. I’ve criticized a lot. Sorry, I think this signing is trash along with the player who’s mediocre at best.  Sorry, I think we have a mediocre coach riding the coattails of a super star QB. Other national reporters think the same. ( see Ross Tucker.)

  8. I hate this signing so much that I don’t even know where to begin.

Go watch Chris Jones or big Jeff Simmons play, then go watch Oliver.

Guy is so average it hurts.

What an absolute horrible move by Brandon Beane my god.

Sport Illustrated just dumped on him based on The 33rd Team analysis.  I do believe this year he seriously is in the hot seat, now that he to has call the D this year on top of the head coaching duties.

    I guess we will see.

needs to continue to get dumped on until he brings a Super Bowl to WNY.

This should be his last season here if he doesn’t make it to the AFC Title game minimum.

Losing winnable games in regular season that negatively impact playoff seeding and stinking up the joint once we get there have Sean ranked 10 from the bottom.

    Frankly, that’s fair. Imo.

     22. Sean McDermott, Buffalo Bills

Seasons With Team: 6 | Head Coaching Record: 62-35

Analysis: He’s done a lot of winning and deserves credit for that but the combination of losing games against far inferior teams in the regular season, which hurts playoff seeding, and then getting outcoached in the postseason is troubling. It seems like it’s going to get harder, not easier, for this group of Bills to break through with a Super Bowl berth.

    I love it.

What I’ve been saying for years now.

McClap very average coach hidden behind a superstar QB.

Daboll should’ve never been allowed to leave building. Will haunt franchise for years if we don’t win one with Allen.

Expectation this year is AFC title game minimum or McDermott needs fired immediately afterwards.

We don’t have another year to waste with a defensive minded mediocre HC trying to lead this team to the promise land.

We have to go from good to great. McDermott helped the rebuild, but he isn’t going to get us over the top.

I’ll continue to repeat it until he’s fired.

    Tight end.

Reality is that Knox is good, but not great. Yes, we paid him. However, we can run 2 tight end sets and these prospects in this draft are too good to pass at 27 if we sit.

I’d love JSN, but he’s not going to be there. I think a lot of offensive lineman and receivers will be there Friday night for us to take. All the mocks I’m looking at seems to think we will be able to choose 1 of 3 below at 27…

    1. Mayer

    2. Kincaid

    3. LaPorta

    4. Washington

It’s no secret on here that I want more weapons and protection for Allen. An elite tight end checks that box, and the thought of Allen being able to feast over the middle with a blue chip prospect like KC does with Kelce and Baltimore with Andrews is too much to pass on.

I’d love to see something like this:

    1. Kincaid

    2. Hyatt

    3. Bergeron

Are you open to tight end at 27? Less than a week away fam.

    Let’s go fam!

    I finally got one lol.
