Will this game be national televised or just shown in local markets?

I assume the Titans would then forfeit and we get the win. Unless the NFL pushes the start of playoffs back there would not be another opportunity to play the game.

On the bright side, Tenn will have a bunch of guys out and will have very little practice time which should help us get the win there.

They should move the Chiefs Bills game to the Monday night slot!

Isnt the Steelers Titans game already rescheduled for their original bye week? I don’t think the NFL will want to have too much of buffer at end of season because then teams will be like “well, if we have a outbreak we can just makeup the games in January.”

this won’t be a typical Super Bowl. Who knows how many fans will be allowed in. There won’t be the typical pre game festivities.

This seems like the most logical approach. Move the Super Bowl back a week and have a week 18 for all COVID impacted games that couldn’t be rescheduled during the season. The only issue with this is some playoff teams will get an extra week rest.

The Jets would definitely be a playoff team if they had Mahomes. Look at Tampa Bay. Went from bottom feeders in NFC south last year to a playoff caliber team because of Tommy.

Next two games will tell us a lot about how this season could end up. 2-0 and we start talking playoff bye. 0-2 and its fighting for division or wildcard spot.

Strong disagree. All of the elite QBs have superb intangibles (Confidence, smarts, gamer, leadership). Obviously, you need to have the physical attributes, athleticism and arm mechanics, but if you lack the “mental makeup” you will not be an elite QB. I also disagree with your point about QBs getting drafted into dysfunctional organization which results in them not playing well. I believe if you’re good enough QB it doesn’t matter which team you’re on, you will excel. Imagine if Mahomes was on the Jets. Would the Jets stink as they do now? Absolutely not. They would be a playoff team. Great QBs make others around them better. He would make the WRs look a lot better than they actually are, running game would then be better and in general the team would have more confidence.

Darnold has a good arm but lacks the mental make-up that Allen has. That’s what makes Allen so good. Allen is a gamer, has a win at all costs mentality. He also oozes confidence which inspires the rest of the team. Darnold had better mechanics coming out of college, but Allen has made vast improvements to his throwing abilities and seems to see the field a lot better.

I imagine the FO will work on a new, long-term deal with Allen this off-season. I’m thinking it will be 10 yearish 400m packed with incentives like Mahomes deal.

We’ll he isn’t even on the field. I’d say give him a shot and let’s see what he can do.
