Sammy's going to play lights out this season, increasing his stock for FA and then he's running to the hills for the best offer.........which will most likely be the Pats.
-
Peterman's going to be the starter?..........a guy who has never played a single down in the NFL, is raw and a little rough around the edges.
Aye Carumba
-
Im okay with it.........the guy can just barely stay on the field each week.
Alas, just another Whaley garbage legacy left behind for the new staff to clean up.
Aye Carumba.

The Buffalo Bills - 2017 Champions of the off-season
-
I love what i'm seeing from the Pegs.
It's about time that the whole system from the top on down was gutted.
-
All you need to know is 46-66 as the Bills GM...........no one deserves a job with those stats.
-
My question is: Do you think Whaley was informed prior to the draft that he would be released after the draft? Or do you think Whaley went in to draft thinking that a homerun draft could possibly save his job?
Oh, i think Whaley knew that the executioner was a-knocking.
-
All i keep thinking about is drafting EJ wayyyyyyyyyyyy too high and then being so stubborn to stand by his decision. I'm no scout, but even at FSU, the guy was a project. How anyone let Whaley even make that draft choice in the first is unforgivable.
And then throwing 2 number one picks to get Sammy, who is barely and i mean barely, able to stay on the field each week, when it was a deep WR draft class..........that was the beginning of the end for me with Whaleys tenure.
In the grand scheme of things, i'm sure that Whaley has done more good than harm to the franchise, but as a life long fan, some of his decisions were questionable and just down-right painful from a fans perspective.
-
Alright Tips, i don't know where you're going with this, but i'm coming along for the ride, amigo.
-
Honestly, Bills fans have had many, many years to laugh at the Pats in the 80's and 90's.
There once was a time when the Pats were the laughing-stock of the NFL...........so many years ago, it seems.
-
Pegula didn't explain the move very well at the press conference. I can't see this move being seen favourably in NFL circles. This is a brand problem of a different sort. Whaley had some credibility in NFL. He has relationships in the league. This is going to have an impact on attracting the best talent out there due to optics involved.
So, it was the Whaley firing that turned this franchise into an unprecedented fiasco?
I suppose a dysfunctional franchise with 17+ years of fail has nothing to do with attracting the markets best talent.

Grade and discuss the overall Draft.
Very happy with our picks this year and pumped to have a extra first rounder next year. I wasn't huge on the Peterman pick but loving it more and more. That pick might be the steal of the entire draft.
The Bucs grabbing Howard at their draft position was the steal of the draft.
-
Who really cares what a rival teams fans think?.............honestly, if your life is affected by this, then you lead a sad lonley existence.
-
I think these firings were a couple of years too late.

round #1 - Howard
...........that is all

If anyone has a problem with what is transpiring with the Bills FO lately, just think about it like this.........
If you were a new owner of a sports franchise with 17 years of fail behind it, you'd probably step back a little and see how things unfold before you clean house, from the top on down.
The Pegs are putting everyone on notice that no one is safe..........if you can't do your job, then you won't have a job.
I love what i'm seeing these days.
Break up the "old boys club" and start new.
-
Well, Pegs is finally cleaning house...........good for him.
Out with the old and in with the new.
-
Whaley and the Ryan brother are probably all sitting around in a bar saying, "yep, i remember when i used to work for the Bills..........."
I'd like to say that this firing affects me, but it truly does not.
It's the same as any other job..........if you don't produce or succeed, then you're going home.
No love lost here.
-
I think the point is this.........if TT plays lights out this year and can prove that he is our future, then it's a major bonus for the team going forward, as the QB questions will be put to rest.
However, if TT struggles during the season, then it's comforting for the FO office to know that they will have 2 first round picks for 2018 and can be a major player for a QB, if needed.
You'd rather have options, than none.
In years past, the Bills have handcuffed themselves in the drafts and through FA..........next year affords the organization some breathing room.
-
It was a deep CB draft..........we could have picked one up in any round.
I almost feel like our 1st round pick was a waste.
-
trading back was great, trading two thirds was not.
I didn't like it either, but apparently the FO were "sold" on "their" guys and shot from the hip to draft them.
-
It sure as hell wasn't a "sexy" draft for us, but we filled some holes and hopefully we've got 3 starters.
-
My god...........he'll be lucky to see the PS.
-
Honestly, everyone should have expected the Bills to have a "safe" draft this season,
McDermott gets a bye this year.........he's going to pick up his players of "need".........nothing fancy, nothing sexy..........just players to come in and fill the role.
