    The biggest advantage he has is getting to interview potential coaches or players to joining the raiders. It can be under the guise of a production meetings, but he has access to coaches and players like no other team has

    We're going to have games where we absolutely **** the bed all game long but will pull out the win..........we have games like this every year and sometimes we squeak out the win and sometimes we just can't get it done.

     

    This is what i mean by "we have no business winning".

    I would like to think that we will steamroll every team through the schedule, but it's unrealistic to ever think that and there will be games where we left too many plays on the field and look like we should have just lost the game outright but pull out the win..........Baltimore comes to mind.

    We went through QB hell for almost 20 years and those were some fairly dim and depressing times, i can tell you........i think JA came along at the right time for this franchise and honestly, it feels like JA was made for Buffalo football.

     

    I know a lot of people that became Bills fans just because JA was playing for the Bills. These are also the same people who laughed at the Bills when we went through the drought, but JA has put this team on the map and made it "must see" tv every week.

     

    Bravo to our FO for seeing what the rest of us didn't (don't lie.....he was the wrong Josh and you know it).

    I can't eat anything ice cream related anymore........i left an ice cream sandwich on the counter one time and in the morning, it was still intact, didn't melt.....like i'm talking it wasn't even soft.

     

    That's a huge no for me, but on a side note, i'm lactose intolerant so i may as well lock myself in the washroom for the night if i ever did eat anything ice cream related...........Oh, it's a mess, man.

Mr Security tells me Lipton has some new alcoholic beverage they were looking to rollout and  promote…..  but nobody got a liquor license in time. OOPS!

    Mr Security didn’t know any more details. They just paid him to stand there.  😂 

     

     

     

     

    I have no idea where you're going with this, as this basically has nothing to do with hard cider, but fella, i'm coming along for the ride.

    I was listening to a podcast yesterday and they brought up this exact thing, however, what they mentioned is that the play calling may not be flashy, it is actually quite brilliant when you consider that the Bills are playing a "grind it out" style and forcing teams to beat themselves.

     

    The plays are efficient in 1st downs and when the opportunity is there for a big play, JA and Cook make the most of it. In years past, JA was always looking for the long bomb, the huge down the field play, etc. and now it seems they are chunking it 10 yards/1st downs at a time........this is the way to keep D's honest and to keep them on their heels when you have no idea if they are going short or long.

    Zone D and JA will shred you with short to mid yardage with players who can YAC........man-to-man and JA will throw a bomb at the mis match.

     

    Love it or hate it, but this O looks more complete than years past.

    RIP Ken Dryden

    Little story about ole Kenny Dryden.....

     

    The Leafs would sometimes have their training camp in Kitchener-Waterloo (southern Ontario) every once in awhile and for awhile there Ken Dryden was their GM and it just so happened that at the one training camp in KW, i took my 3 year old son and i brought along a Ken Dryden rookie hockey card with me.

     

    I know the Aud (auditorium) well and i knew where the GM's were sitting for the training camp........i went up to see Ken to see if he would sign my card and he flat out says, "no"........i was flattened. Ken was my hero growing up and i was in disbelief that he wouldn't sign it.

     

    My sister who was there and who had seen how depressed i was over it, took the card from me and went back to see Ken.......within 2 minutes my sister was back with the signed card and Ken's phone number.

     

    She ripped the phone number up, making sure that Ken watched her from where we were seated and made sure that Ken was watching as she handed me the card..........he then proceeded to have security kick us out.
