The way i'm thinking is that if he has one more year on his rookie deal, then make him play it out and if he refuses, then sit him on the pine for the year and see how much he's worth next year with zero touches for the whole season.
Or.....
See if you can make a trade and get him out of here. He's not worth 15 mil/year and if Beane bows down and pays this guy top tier RB money, then he is essentially waving the white flag to just another players demands that will handcuff this franchise when we have other players to pay and other holes to fill.

I've been on plenty of construction sites. Some are all professional, and some are "frat party" style. It all comes down the the general contractor and how they run their site.
I agree.
Our site for the most part is very professional; however, we have a few work groups where it's like the inmates are running the asylum, and they just don't care about action vs. consequences.

As an update......
The new girl Project Coordinator has said that she won't be making an issue out of the whole thing, just that she felt uncomfortable about the whole thing and that she didn't like that the workers knew she was staying temporarily in a hotel until she got settled in.
She just says that it freaked her out.
And i can kind of understand.......25 years old, working about 8 hours from home, doesn't know the area, doesn't know anybody, etc. and these scrub construction workers are hitting on her, asking her to go out and party with them, knowing she's staying alone at a hotel, etc.
Bad things, man.

If we brought him in, i can't say i'd be against it.

I mean… are they just gonna be back on Monday?
Because if so, they just got a long weekend out of sexual harassment and that gal should maybe look into legal options / HR.Are the guys like day laborers, tradesmen, union? Did the boss at the very least upbraid them?
They will not be back on Monday........the boss just escorted them off site and they are done their work, which was why the boss gave them enough time to finish their work before he made them leave.
They are laborers, doing fire spraying on the fire rated beams and columns and they are the only company in the area who provides this service, so i do understand from the boss's point, however, i think he just opened the door for having himself in the middle of a liability issue.

I was under the impression that the boss gave everybody a world class ass-chewing before he sent them packing.
The boss said nothing, only for them to gather up their tools and leave at 11am........he didn't even mention why, so you can see how it was obviously mishandled.

If he didn't have a problem with it, he wouldn't have booted them at all.
He's got a responsibility to the client that he can't just abandon because the FNG was upset. If you're upset about how it was handled, you're being self-righteous and are in the wrong.
Okay, so full disclosure for this project........we are the client until building completion and then it gets handed over to the government (it's a government project on a military base).
Also, as a military/government project, they have full access and disclosure to everything that happens on the project. They have no say in the project but have access to everything about it.
* Would you want to hear that something like this happened upfront and know that it was dealt with accordingly?.......and at least words were said as a reprimand and addressed in a satisfactory manner?
* Or would you want to hear this after the fact and feel that nothing was done or very little concern about it?
If i was a client or potential future client, i would at least want to know and let myself decide the severity of it and not have to hear about it 2nd hand, where truths get distorted and misconstrued and legal issues could potentially happen where liability will be placed on "burden of proof" between he said/she said.
.........i'm fairly certain the government/military doesn't want their name on that.

So, this just happened at work.......
We have a 25-year-old girl who just started this week in our office as a Project Coordinator and this morning she had to go out on the construction site to look at a few things. Well, it seems that some of the guys on site were hitting on her, asking her out for drinks, wanting to go back to her hotel and party with her, etc........she was visibly upset with this and told our boss about it.
The boss went on site and told the guys to pack up their stuff at 11am and start their weekend early......this happened at 8am.
I told him that he should have kicked them off site at 8am and not to ever come back and he said he needed them to stay till at least 11am for them to finish a few things first.
* So, by not kicking them off site immediately, he has no problem with what happened as long as he could make it work to his best advantage
That tells me that he doesn't know how to handle it, he doesn't care about it, or he is totally unprofessional........maybe a little of all three.
My opinion, let them know it's unacceptable and get them off site as quickly as possible.
So, i ask thee, oh message board warriors, who is in the wrong on this?

I'm assuming you're joking.
I'm 40 and the Turtles were popular and something I was into going back as far as I can remember. And they're still popular today. You'd have to be completely cut off from pop culture going on like 35 years to not have any idea who the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are.
I've heard of them, but don't know nothing about them..........like, i'm talking nothing.
The only thing i do kind of know is that i think the movie was a box office flop, but other than that, zilch, nada, nope, nothing, zero.

I only watch TV about twice a year so I am utterly unqualified to declare what is "good", but being stuck on the living room floor for a couple days with a newly spayed pup had me reaching for the remote and I ended up watching a show called American Primeval. Set in the mid 1800's in the Utah territory it's a dark and violent take on the three way conflict that took place between the natives, the Mormons and the US government. While it's vicious and depressing and makes you want to punch 100 people in the face, I still thought it was a pretty damned good watch.
I just started watching this last night...........wild stuff, man.

It's also a load of crap to think that our team wants choir boys without talent lol
You don't get to our point differential over the last 6 years with choir boys with no talent
Von Miller has been accused of assaulting a woman he's not exactly Saint Teresa
.............he's not exactly producing on the field either.

She must have a pretty high threshold. Sounds like a keeper…….for him.
We're hoping for the best cause if anyone can deal with his antics, nonsense and suspect mattress for more than ten minutes, then he should hold onto her for dear life.

It might be showing my age, but i don't even know what a teenage mutant ninja turtle, skunk, chipmunk, raccoon or whatever the hell it is........is it popular?

What kind of condition is his mattress in? That might affect then degree of difficulty. 😊
We are also married 40 years as of last Sunday, and I’ve never been happier. It’s not always bliss, but I learned to be better about shutting up. It turns out she’s right about a lot of stuff. Who knew? 🤷♂️
My wife is perfect and can do no wrong.........just ask her.
And for my son's mattress, we don't go in his room.......it scares the **** out of us and i honestly don't want to know what's going on in there.

My son who is now 30 years old, couldn't even get a date, let alone find anyone who would ever marry him. My wife would always try to set him up on dates, but he was never interested.
This past year, he found himself a woman and they are planning on moving in together eventually.
Trust me, if my son can find a significant "other", anyone can.........he's kind of like me and you all know how much you all love me, so........

I don't know think organization has been too focused on high floor low ceiling leader type players. Team has been willing to overlook talent for players they believe fit the culture and system they have built.
And that's a problem.
I understand high culture players; however, talent has to be at the top of the list as well.
People can't tell me that there are no high culture talented players out there and if there are, then why can't our FO identify them?

Been married for 40 years........sometimes it's a blessing and sometimes a curse, but how anyone could ever manage to deal with me more than 40 minutes let alone 40 years, makes my wife a saint.

That’s why I made the list. Not a ton of real net savings to be had without June 1 designations or other restructuring.
I’m actually in the camp of Miller returning at a greatly reduced contract value. Maybe down to the 8 mill range. I don’t know how that works with the cap or CBA, but getting him down to that kind of $ unlocks most if not all of a June 1 cut without creating another roster slot to fill.
FYI: Jones already has a 3.724 million dollar savings dead cap hit in 2026.
Besides Miller, I’m cutting AJE because he was awful last year at the pass rush and RDC convinced me to at least consider trading Edwards. I do believe Beane unlocks most of the cap savings this season through restructuring Dawkins, Milano and others.
AJE has been a huge disappoint to me.........i mean, he shows some flashes of dominance here and there and then just rolls over and goes to sleep too many times. It's just too inconsistent and if you never know when a guy's going to show up, then it's time to look elsewhere, i'm thinking.
And Von?!?.........i'm of the opinion to just cuts the ties and completely move on from him.

I know Von has pleaded through the media that he wants to remain a Bill, but i think it's a foregone conclusion that he's gone this offseason and as for the rest?!?..........well, insert name here and color me shocked, as i don't really think there's too many names that are really moving the needle here.

You know what I do when I give zero ****s about something?
I run right over to my keyboard, log into a board on that topic, and make a post telling everyone on that board how I could care less!
Nothing is more persuasive that I truly give zero ****s than putting in that effort!
