Getting Deebo would be amazing! He is super dynamic and will allow others to get open. He doesnt need to be schemed open. He is fast and powerful. He gets himself open. He can catch in traffic, and he can carry tacklers.
He makes things happen when he gets the ball. His yards per catch and yards per carry are excellent in his career. He doesn't have to get huge numbers to enhance the offence tremendously.
With Allen, Cook, Deebo, and Kincaid, this offence would be dynamic.
The negative comments about Deebo are breathetakingly bad. It's almost as if they've never seen the guy play.

The NBA puts games on MLK day as a tradition because a very large portion of their fanbase is black, percentage wise.
It’s partly symbolic, and I’m not saying that’s a bad thing before you get yourself all worked up.
It’s also the NBA’s regular season. They aren’t airing Game 1 of the NBA Finals during the day where half of America is working.
I understand.
I just asked if you could supply the data to support that, because of the demographics of the fanbase, more NBA fans will not be working on MLK day compared to NFL fans.

The NBA is putting regular season games on MLK Day. They also have a somewhat different fanbase demo than the NFL.
The NFL would be putting one of a handful of coveted playoff games on a Monday afternoon, by choice, for a holiday that most of their fanbase is working on.
We’ll see what the ratings are .. at best, they would hope for a March Madness scenario where it’s such a big deal that people just accept call-outs and zero production on the first Thursday and Friday of the Tournament.
What percentage of the NBA fanbase won't be working on MLK Day? What percentage of the NFL fanbase will be working on MLK Day? Can you supply the data?

“nowadays.” 😂 love when people say this.Because back in the “good old days” companies didn’t care about profit, and were just giant Santas, sprinkling their EBITDA around to the poors like magic fairy dust.
Back then when all the corporations and business owners really cared about the welfare of their workers. Remember those days of high wages, limited work hours, safe working conditions, paid vacations all throughout the year, and full benefit packages!
I miss those days that never ever happened...ever in the history of the United States.

Riverfront Stadium(late 70’s)
Joe Robbie/Hard Rock/etc(3 times)
Raymond James
Jacksonville(2 times)
Cleveland(current stadium)
Kansas City
Oakland(by far the biggest dump)
Indy(RCA Dome)
Dallas - Jerry World
Nashville(best away game trip)
I would say the current version of Miami’s stadium with canopy is the best of the lot that I have visited.
I know it's off topic, but I went to several Oakland A's games this year and had a lot of fun. They call the Coliseum, the only dive bar left in MLB.
They have $10 tickets and huge pours on drinks in a section called the Tree House. One Friday night this season they did a Jerry Garcia night with a pregame concert, a free Jerry A's tee, and during the game, non-stop Dead music on the dance floor at the Tree House. People smoked in the open and danced the during the whole game. Yeah, the stadium is a dump and the neighborhood is beyond dangerous, especially at night. But it can be a lot of fun, and I don't think anything like it exists in any major sport anymore.

That's probably for the best in Buffalo
That was my assumption. Saving the fans from themselves.
I should have mentioned how much fun I had with old friends from West Seneca at the tailgate. The Bills tailgate is phenomenal. It is a part of gameday experience in OP that is completely lame at Allegiant. I was pretty wasted by the time I entered Rich Stadium (it will always be Rich Stadium to me, btw). So, beer was a good choice at that point.

I've been to about seven or so stadiums over the years. My favorite is the new Raiders stadium. I have season tickets there, since my family moved there several years ago. I commuted from so-Cal for two years and now commute from nor-Cal. Allegiant is comfortable. There are never issues with violence or over the top behavior. The bathroom lines move really fast. They have a super quick AI beer/seltzer line, and they serve wine and hard liquor throughout the stadium.
I went to the Bills vs Dolphins game earlier this year and I forgot that Rich Stadium does not serve hard liquor. That was a surprise.

Adding this thread to my 'why we're actually living in the matrix' theory. 🤔
I just went up to my attic and found the box of books with Simulacra and Simulation, which I hadn't touched since 2003.
Incidentally, the Bills retrospective book called Relentless was in the same box.

that’s the thing. Payton lined up his WRs and tod them to go deep. Russ was told if it’s a jailhouse break ID a matchup off the line and heaven it. If they slowed down the blitz at all it’s a TD because we aren’t wining that battle with all 4 corners on an island. In the end the offense knew the assignment and executed it. If it doesn’t work out they have another snap.
the real win was anything short that left a looooong kick to either lose the game or get the ball back with timeouts to get our own win.
I think this is the main point. Payton set up a play for an all out blitz. For some reason, he had the inclination that McD would send the blitz again, and he was ready.
In that situation, Payton having prepared Russ for the blitz gave Denver a chance.
Since Payton prepared his team for the blitz, as soon as Russ got the ball he threw it up.
This reminds me of when Greg Williams called two consecutive all out blitzes against the Raiders. The Raiders blew the first chance, but were ready on the second one and hit the pass and won the game.
The point is that if the opposing coach thinks the blitz is coming, he can get his team ready for it, which Payton did. It seems like it is always better to know what your opponent is doing in advance and set something up to counter it.

3 years, $56m with nothing guaranteed is not a bad contract for acquiring team. A team like Carolina is desperate to salvage their investment in Bryce Young.
True. I just don't think we can get a first for him. We might have to give up a bit more than Diggs to unload him.

Diggs is as much to blame as anyone for his QB having to focus on and answer for his drama queen antics. Now his brother is stirring the pot for him. Trade him to Carolina for a future 1st round pick.
We would have to trade him with our first round pick and probably another pick with it because his cap hit is so high. The idea would be to dump the salary.

The responses on here are surprising. Is that how far from supporting labor we've become. Jeez. It's a worker who has high level and desirable skills and the nfl is multi-billions. He wants to be compensated for his labor. For as blue collar a labor town Buffalo is supposed to be, the comments on here sure read like a bunch of scabs and manager lapdogs.
One person said "entitled." Meanwhile generational wealth concentrates wealth to like 5% of the population and one dude with special talents is "entitled" because he wants to be compensated relative to the mass profits owners and the league make?

With my job, I am in a lot of peoples homes, in multiple states, and Im always meeting interesting and cool people. I love good music, and I love vinyl. A couple weeks ago I was on a job, and I saw a stack of vinyl on floor, about 300 records. Cool lady, about 30- I say "nice, you have vinyl". She says "you want it. you can have it all. take it." I went did my job, got sidetracked, rushed to my next job, and I forgot the vinyl.
I called her, and she said she can bring the vinyl to Providence, or I could meet her at Beach House. We both have crazy work schedule, and have been trying to meet for two weeks. But tomorrow am, we finally get to meet again. I cannot wait to flip through that vinyl! Im guessing its parents old vinyl. So im guessing vinyl is 20-40 years old. Vinyl hunting is treasure hunting.
Well that will get me through a few hours until game time
That's awesome!
I have about 1200 albums. I bought probably a third of them from Philadelphiamusic, who is a seller on discogs. He has gems for between one to three dollars and ships for a $5-7 flat fee as many albums as you buy. I've ordered over a hundred at a time. Check out his inventory.

Love these guys. Hendrix first band. First with "Fight the Power".
An Isley's tribute band played here in Oakland a couple of months ago. Took my 19 and 20 year old daughters and their boyfriends. They recognized the many Isley songs sampled by rappers.
Shout! was the encore!

Heaven forbid they actually get a country singer.
I'm down for some Moe Bandy or Jack Greene and the like, but country post 1980s is either pop music or early rock with a slight twang. And the lyrics are like they're written by high school freshmen from Bentonville, AK or Valdosta, GA.

Can't tell you, Bill, sorry. There's no obvious "Download" button to click, that much I can say. I'm still trying to figure it all out.
One irritating thing about NFLPlus, though, is that I can't watch live games on computer. Only archived. You can watch live games only on tablet or phone.
I don't have a tablet and am not interested in watching games on a tiny phone screen.
I don't mind so much, as it's 2:00 a.m. here now. I'm headed for bed. I'd love to have watched the first quarter, though, but you can't do it.
Plug your phone charger cable into your laptop usb.
Plug an hdmi from laptop to TV.
Use this app on the laptop for the phone charger to USB laptop to work
You'll have to use developer tools on the phone to do USB debugging.
NFL gives players the option to wear guardian shells during games.
