Bills vs. Chiefs playoff history
The winner of the previous five playoff meetings between these two teams has advanced to the Super Bowl four times.
A look at the quarterbacks who started in Buffalo-Kansas City games:
Jim Kelly Bills 2-0
Patrick Mahomes II Chiefs 2-0
Len Dawson Chiefs 0-1
Jack Kemp Bills 0-1
Steve DeBerg Chiefs 0-1
Joe Montana Chiefs 0-1
Josh Allen Bills 0-2
Kemp’s 1966 Bills lost to the Lenny Dawson led Chiefs in 1966 AFL championship game at the Rockpile.
So Dawson was 1-0 vs Bills. -
The early 80s Marv Levy led Chiefs were a sorry roster. Bill Kenney or Steve Fuller at QB with the late Joe Delaney at RB and Art Still at DE. They were like Bills during Jauron Era.

I just chalk it up to Nick Wright having an alter ego named Chip Wrong.
So when Nick says one thing I know he means the opposite.

Cam beat out Siran Neal for the spot. I have to agree with that.
A few years ago Taron was really struggling at NCB so they put Cam in and he promptly got hurt. Was always our backup nickel CB before taking snaps at S.

That was a juke?
Yes that is what we call it in WNY.
And please explain how no one in KC mandated that M’homey be evaluated for a concussion when his helmet got busted. Just sayin! People talk!

Watching the Cowboys get man handled by a lesser GB team makes me a wee bit nervous. Bills should win but I think it’ll be close.
How can one say GB is lesser. QBs pretty even. RB edge to GB.
Both Ds are meh.
Came down to QB and HC and GBs younger tandem won

Yeah, maybe. All I'm saying is that Rudolph is 8-4 with the Steelers, this is the first time he's got a decent team to work with. If his passing continues on anywhere near where it is now, they'd be nuts to not try him in the role next season.
Hope they make that bet cuz imho it’s the wrong one and will hurt them short term and long term.

Unless they draft someone else.
You see Pickett being the one? He's been Neil O'Donnell like two seasons in.
Trubisky's a verifiable backup.
Lots of FA QBs and they could afford to sign one as little $$ invested in QBs now. Cousins would fit there

IMO he'll be the starting QB for the Steelers for years.
He's never been given a great opportunity to play.
Seriously? Will have to see if McDermott and rest of league start shutting him down now that there are 3 games on film.
I see a more Duck Hodges and Tommy Maddox than Big Ben career here.

Harris rushed for 1,035 yards for an average of 4.1 yards a carry. 8tds
Warren rushed for 784 yards for an average of 5.1 yards a carry. 4 tds
Harris 29 catches for 170 yards.
Warren 69 catches for 370 yards .
Last 3 games Steelers ran for 155 yards vs Baltimore, 202 yards vs Seattle, and 113 yards vs Cinci.
All those stats were against different teams with different players and schemes. Therefore they are meaningless………………gotcha 😎

As for myself, I don't want to get into a running game match with Pitt. This is a recipe to lose.
Harris and Warren have combined for 32 carries and 89 yds for 0 TDs in last years and 2021 game vs Bills. If Rudolph can’t throw pretty sure Bills D will shut down PIT run game

Weather helps the Steeler run game IMO. Hopefully we can counter with some down hill running of our own from Fornette.
32 carries for 89 yards in last 2 games vs Bills by Harris and Warren. In good weather. Bring it on!

Coaching for this game is key and it seemingly favors Tomlin.

It would be a cold day in hell before the Jets traded him here.

Dude I had Najee Harris in fantasy, he stinks, gang tackle, we put 2 touchdowns on the board early on Pitt and they'll be ready for the plane home.
In 2 games vs BUF Harris has 65 yards rushing in 27 carries and 20 yards on 4 catches. All for 0 TDs.
Bills need to get him to run laterally to shut him down.
Warren will be the tougher back to stop for the Bills.

Did McDermott explain, or was he even asked, why Spector entered the game over Dorian Williams? If Dodson is a no go, would they again have Spector up as next man, or would a week off of prep allow for Williams to possibly slide into that role?
Heard on WGR was likely due to Spector being better vs Run which was how Fins were gashing Bills in first half.

Rooney Rule required interview imho. Has been primarily a scout and assistant player personnel guy to date. Is 3rd in line to Beane here now. Director of player personnel at this time.
