Here is a list of guys we met with at the Combine apparently.

If we infer OBD's Interest by # of Meetings (27 total), the rank is:

    WR - 10

    S - 4

    Edge (DE/OLB) - 3

    RB - 3

    DT - 2

    OT - 2

    CB - 1

    ILB - 1

    QB - 1

Could you imagine...Williams, WR from #28, Diggs, Shakir and Kincaid?

Nice pipe dream because beane doesn't spend big money to give his all world QB weapons.

so no Curtis Samuel now, cmon lad, make up your mind

  3. OMG does this mean that the TBD appointed savior of the Bills WR corps, Andy Isabella, may not make the 53 again?

Hamler and Isabella fight for a depth slot WR/ST role as returner.

Shorter and Hollins will battle for backup outside WR and gunner role.

Winners have shot at WR 5 or 6 spot.  WR 2 and 4 are not on roster yet.

Rumor had it back then that Marv would have likely let Bruce play his final season as a bill if Bruce had not locked Marv inside a Porta potty as a joke.

Bruce played 4 more years for Redskins.

The one and only time he’s met Mahomes & the crew in a meaningful game he had:

1 sack, 3 QB hits, 2 TFLs and scored a defensive TD.

And in 3 other games vs Chiefs 0 sacks, 1 QB hit, 0 FF, 0 FR, 0 INT, and 1 TFL.  But hey, those games, which Steelers went 1-2 in, just don't matter I guess.

If you figure there are 32 teams who collectively start 64 edge rushers...

AJ was in the top third of the league in pressure percentage last season.

Ascending player. Glad we kept him.

As I read the Cover 1 statement AJ is 21st out of ALL DTs and DEs with over 100 snaps played least year.  So assume 3 players on each team that platoon at DT and DE qualify, that is a total of 192 DT/DE players.  21 out of 192 is 11%.  That is damn good!

Im weirdly excited about Isabella, hope we give him a shot

So was Arizona - LOL spent a 2nd rd pick on him!  That makes Bills trading up in 3rd for TJ Graham look like a stroke of genius!

3 NFL stops and no production - doubt he makes Bills active roster in 2024

Bates traded for a 5th. This makes it much more likely that Morse returns as the starting center.  Opens up an opportunity for Anderson or a draft pick as the backup at center.

I wanted us to go after Van Pran in the draft.  Maybe this opens that possibility as well.

Bills seem to value former OTs that can play OC.  Morse, Bates and Anderson were all college OTs.  Van Prank lacks this trait and has extremely short arms so may not be on Bills radar.

Fatukasi was a big up and coming type when he signed with the Jags prior to 2022 but didn't live up to the expectations. He's only 295 so probably only a 3 Tech.

6'4" 318 lbs per Jags roster.  Played NT and some 5T for Jags

I didn't know Burks played with Josh Allen. Btw not everything is about the underwear Olympics. Burks had a 70yd play this yr and in his rookie season I see a few big plays from him as well in 22 one game in particular was against the Packers where he had 111yds on 7 catches before getting injured on huge play in 3rd quarter he was also facing Jaire Alexander and Douglas at the corner spot that day.

Titans drank the Koolaid on Burks and are regretting it now.  Elam has similar bust potential but Bills have depth at CB and can wait on him.

Not sure Burks can take over Gabe’s role which is what OBD is likely looking for if they bring a veteran in.

Burks has shown some potential at times but has had some bad luck with injuries and horrible QB play he also played in a heavy running offense

Easy pass for me.  Burks has a 7 percent drop rate and 53% catch rate when targeted - no bueno!   Btw both Titans and Bills ran ball on 47% of plays in 2023.  Shakir - same draft - has same number of catches (49) and 3 TDs vs Burks' 1 TD.

    Plus there is this.  https://jetsxfactor.com/2022/03/07/ny-jets-draft-treylon-burks-combine-results/

His brutal 3 cone drill performance pointed to an inability to separate and is a huge predictor of failure in NFL.  Coupled with a poor vertical it emphasizes his lack of explosiveness.

the condensed formations we ran seemed related to our tendencies and history trying to force 20 personnel

Confused here.  How often did we run 2 RBs and 0 TE formation?
