Interesting that Babich spent some time in Carolina on D staff as an underling. Wonder if he looks at the talent at LB in Milano Bernard and Williams and develops a real 4-3 for better run fits while still being able to play the pass when teams go 12 or 13 on the Bills. Carolina used Davis Keuchly and Thompson on the field a lot in 2015.

From last preseason it appears OBD sees Ryan Bates or Alec Anderson as their next OC. In his post season locker room interview, Morse expressed an interest in playing one more year.

honestly, I have absolutely loved this ride. To have an amazing qb where playoffs are a given every year is such an amazing feeling. But man, a team with that resume should have made more than one championship game. 😢

My understanding of the rule book is that if contact happens within 5 yds of line of scrimmage and occurs before ball is thrown then it is legal contact.
The NBC footage from behind QB appeared to show contact being made before ball was released.

Safeties are pretty huge in McDermott's D.
Hyde was a 5th round pick and Poyer a 7th. Granted they had played a few years in league already but neither had high draft pick pedigree.

Per McD this was the Bills 3rd down passing package. Bad news is Bills only got KC to 3rd down 5 times. Wish they had left him in more often!

S is a lower priority position for most teams and one where the top prospects drop to 2nd 3rd or even 4th round.
Dominant DTs especially NTs or 1Ts are hard to come by so if the Texas NT Sweat is there in Rd 2 gotta believe OBD grabs him. 6’4” 360 lbs and Outland Trophy winner
