Remember how much crap we got for losing to a team that only completed 2 passes? …. Well the pats are down double digits to a squad that just completed …. FIVE.

Anyone think Mac Jones resting douche face is even worse than Eli Manning’s?

Was Hughes blocked punt on MNF in 16 the last time we got one?

Considering this is the first year that 7 teams go, it's a fitting year to end the streak.
But it’s not the first year

Ew what was that throw
But did you see the wildly revolutionary softball toss on the shovel attempt? HOW DOES HE DO IT?!?!?

I wish that defender woulda seen mahomes coming. He coulda had a free pass to de-cleat him.

So this lacks context and I’m sure there are other factors afoot but…. Yikes.- 1

On a related note, Romo was commenting about how strange the Bills' record is, given their D and O positions against the rest of the league. Our record is the opposite of a bad team getting into the playoffs due to some critical plays that go its' way. The proverbial ball (aided by officiating) has bounced the wrong way for the Bills. Don't get me wrong, the Bills have done their part as well but the team by itself and with Lady Luck are not in sync this season
...."Buffalo is now 0-5 in one-score games. The only other team without a single victory in a one-score game is the Houston Texans (0-3). In the last 10 years, the only team with a worse record than the Bills in one-score games through 14 weeks was the 2019 Cincinnati Bengals (0-7). Part of winning those games is coaching and execution. But there’s also the aspect of luck and randomness. Those things are not going the Bills’ way.
Consider this: In the last 10 years, there have been 31 teams with a point differential of +110 or better through 14 weeks. The 2021 Bills (7-6 with a +134 point differential) are the only team among that group with fewer than nine wins!
Allen was fantastic vs. Tampa. He put the team on his back. That’s exactly what you want to see from your highly-paid franchise quarterback. There’s a nightmare scenario for Buffalo where Allen’s injury limits him, and their season ends with a whimper. But if he’s relatively healthy, this team still has time to stack some wins and be dangerous in the postseason"...

Think it’s more than luck… Play calling and preparation for those moments play a gigantic part.
That’s why I didn’t say it was all luck and stated SOMETIMES, and the reporter said there’s always an element of luck in one score outcomes and it hasn’t gone our way a single time this year. He nor I said it was ALL luck.
-
I just read a stat on “The Athletic”. 31 teams in the last decade have had a +110 differential through week 14. The Bills are the only team with less than 9 wins. It was a neutral reporter that then when on to talk about the element of luck sometimes in one score games and how almost everything has fallen the wrong way for the bills in their 5 one score games.
I had retired the term “Billsy”. But here we are…. Gross.

I don’t think the colts will win either. People on here acting like the colts and us and maybe the dolphins are just going to walk over New England. The Pats are good. I think the division is over. Probably better for us to give the colts that loss and try to separate from the wildcard teams
Except for if the colts win that game the division is 100% in play. Go colts
Lets not act like the Pats are some unbeatable juggernaut. Geez.

Win this game and root like hell for the Colts this week. Take the division back after that.

Funny I said last week in the postgame thread that I would think the odds gotta swing in our favor in these close heartbreakers we’re dealing with….. but here we are again.
5 losses by a combined 23. Geez.

You don’t truly understand how explosive cook is until you sit through a full season or our Rb’s
The acceleration and suddenness is just freaking ABSURD

Theres no denying they've come up small in 3 games this year during the final minutes. Total coaching/offensive letdowns. Its really disheartening. Total lack of the clutch gene all around this season.

One would think Karma would swing a bit eventually this season. Our late game troubles in these one score games is just so deflating.

Our local show just opened up saying how they were so excited to have new blood in the nfl and cfb but it now looks like NE and Bama again, we were all fooled and #1 has returned for both, everyone else just watching from the sidelines.
This has gone too far. And it’s not even as a Bills fan I say this. Chiefs anyone?
Oh bro, its absurd right now. Earlier on first take Stephen A. spouts off with "if the bills dont take the division this year, then they wont take it for the next decade". Earlier in the week on GMFB, schrager says "it looks like another 20 years of the dynasty".
Its gotten completely out of control. I dont care how good Jones is, HE AINT THE GOAT. And if they aint got the GOAT then every year we will compete with them for a division title.
Dude.... its gotten so bad this week that i found myself actually tuning in to "first things first" more often because Nick Wright is the only person in the media that hasnt become completely unhinged when talking about the Pats.

Bills will have answered the critics, while silencing the doubters, and moving forward on a question for a second AFC East title. This game is what determines the future of the Bills franchise completely for the years to come in McDermott's tenure with the team. If he wins it I won't second guess him anymore but if he doesn't think since the drought everybody always prepares first for the worst and then when the best happens it's an are you ***** kidding me thing.
This is so ridiculously over the top and dramatic.

I personally want to see the Bills absolutely destroy the Patriot's tonight. Shut up all those who are picking the Pats to reach the AFC Championship Game, etc.
I"m so tired of the "Boogie man" talk. Its so dumb. This is not the same Bills team of the previous 20 years and this isnt even the same pats team. Its such a lazy and tired narrative.

I don’t get the fear about their rushing. We rush at 118.3 and the Pats at 115.3.
I hope the players aren’t as emasculated as the fans.
I’ll start by saying I think, with Star and Edmunds back, we can handle their run game. But I’ll finish with saying that all the hype around this pats team is based on the last 6 weeks. And if you look at that stretch their average heads north of 140 a game. So that’s kinda pushing the narrative.
