    It’s because of several things:

    the Bell signing, he’s viewed as an elite back;

    their QB is perceived to be a better passer than our QB currently;

    past performance - they scored more points than us last year.

    But it’s entirely your prerogative if you want to ignore these things and whine like a homer and start a thread just to cry SUCK IT.

    i get it and i'm scared of greggo. but darnold is a sitting duck with our d....so we gonna make a statement early.....i hope

    Well apparently they have a better QB, and picked up one of the top RBs in the league while the Bills go with a 3rd rounder and 2 guys over 30. On paper the Bills have no #1 WR, just a bunch of decent ones with a few different skillsets. The Bills biggest signing this offseason was on their online and he is one good hit away from spending time on the bench figuring out his name....

    I think the Bills will be better, but I understand why the Jets would still be viewed as favorites

    why is darnold the better qb? ...already?

    Curious who these WGR guys might be?

    I've said elsewhere, I'll say here: at this time of year, the media goes off last year's performance.  What else they got to go on?

    And last year the Jets scored the 23rd most points in the league.  The Bills, the 30th.

    nate geary?...i'm guessing because i don't write this stuff down, but it was minutes before i started the thread. i've been hearing it all day too. every local host is calling the jets more talented on offense. is that because they're scared of man boobs? we got this ...

  4. I don't get it. Is it because they want to get clicks?  I'm listening to WGR guys saying this..are you kidding me?  Well throw it on because the Karma and the Bills with Josh Allen will hang 40 on the Jets. iIm confident now, knowing all the media pundits are playing what they believe to be the safe side bet. Underdogs even with our own reporters? To them all i can say is... SUCK IT!

    Browns been inconsistent but at times excellent.

    Ill say say I think blaming Jackson is unfair as he had multiple rough outings to end with flacco... though Flacco obviously wasn’t stellar or he’d have that job still.

    If brown is healthy all year and allen steps up- we could have a good pair. I’m more excited about their potential than the beasley addition even though it seems to get a bit less attention

    i'm most excited to see him and foster on the outsides together and praying that's a base receiver set. i'm assuming and also hoping to see a lot of 4 wide.

    If Andre Roberts is out (I think I heard on WGR that he had an issue?), then I could see Williams coming in this week and playing. Just a thought. But he’s behind Brown, Beasley, Zay & Foster right now. And that doesn’t even include McKenzie.

    i believe he's gonna make a difference for us...especially posting up against gilmore....etc..

    I thought about this match up earlier.

    They'll most certainly double him a lot.  Then Hughes should be singled up along with Murphy/Lawson on the other end.

    We need Star when he's out there to be able to push the RG back...he's not going to beat him for the sack but just push it enough where Darnold can't step up.

    Hoping to have big games from the two Phillips....just win your match up.

    I think we'll see blitzing directly up the middle from Edmunds or Milano.  If the Khalil slides to pick it up, Oliver is one on one.

    Bell isn't picking up the blitz if Edmunds comes free....

    i just hope that if, the rush 4 only philosophy isn't working, that they'll change things up quick before we get down double digits. i worry about frazier being too stuck in his own scheme. it took two 40 point poundings for mcd to step in last year. that can't happen again. i worry about frazier being too old school.

    I think the loss of Waddle definitely played a part in this. One would think that if he was still around as the swing tackle, then Nsekhe would start at RT.

    On the other hand, it's hard to say. Ford only got moved to RG in camp because there were so many injuries at that position and because they wanted him to see some live bullets from that spot. It's quite possible that they've planned to keep him at starting RT all along.

    I can only imagine that it's a "you're the right tackle until you show that you can't be" situation. If he struggles, one would think Nsekhe gets moved to that spot.

    i don't buy that saving nseke for the swing t.  i'd much rather move ford to guard. if nseke gets hurt, slide cody over.

    Jets holding pretty steady at -3 -160 ML(to win the game). In layman's terms, the Jets are a relatively slight favorite. Home team in the NFL is generally given a 3 point edge, so the view (from a betting perspective) is that these teams are evenly matched. I tend to agree. I expect a game similar to the last Bills Jets tilt. Close game that comes down to the wire. What we need to see is Allen make the plays and SOMEBODY on the defense get in Darnold's mug in late game passing downs.

    i would prefer that happens on the 1st series.....and continue.

    Quoting from another site...

    "The former UB cornerback impressed the Bills coaching staff throughout the summer. A concussion derailed any chances of Lewis competing for a roster spot late in August, but he is another prospect that the Bills would probably love to develop."

    wow, sorry, i thought i knew everyone at least a little.
