We’re still paying $5.50 per gallon in California. And yes we have a gas vehicle as well at home, but I’m guessing you’ll see a more robust charging network develop soon. Just like you’d have seen with gas stations 100 years ago. They’re everywhere in So Cal.

I bought the new all electric BMW i4….which is essentially a 4 Series with an electric motor. It’s reported to get 300 mile range on a full charge and so far that appears to be pretty accurate, although you’re told to set your charging limit to 80% to extend the battery life, which is rated at about seven to ten years. Mine cost $53k (and yes I’m in the financial position to afford it). It’s a really great car. Super fast and incredibly smooth to drive. Maintenance costs are practically nothing. No fluids, or filters, or belts to change, and brakes last a really long time as the motor itself slows the car. I wouldn’t hesitate driving it to San Francisco from Los Angeles. You can stop at a fast charge station somewhere along the route for fifteen to twenty minutes to stretch your legs and recharge. But for the vast vast majority of the driving anyone does you just charge it at home in the garage overnight. It’s super convenient. I got it on somewhat of a whim just to try it out, and so far it’s a fantastic machine.

Once again this month I paid nothing for gas. It cost me $12 to ‘fill the tank’ on my new electric vehicle yesterday. Not tryin to be an arse but I promised that I’d keep you abreast of my experience ….and so far I love it. 👍 The car is incredibly smooth to drive.

Goose, it’s obvious you’re a lawyer or in the legal profession. I have to ask. If they search your home on a warrant, are they entitled to take anything other than what the warrant was for? Not trying to be political here…I really don’t know.

All of that is of course true but remember the season doesn’t end on Sunday. We want these teams to pile up losses everywhere they can get them. You never know what’s going to happen or what tiebreakers are going to come into play down the road.

People act like Josh just transported down from another planet. I’d virtually guarantee you he’s been playing this style of football since he was a little kid in the backyard. He knows exactly what he’s doing and how to protect himself. You and I wouldn’t do it…but we’re not Josh Allen. (At least I’m not.)

This isn’t complicated. For right now, Josh is doing what he thinks he needs to in order to get his team to Super Bowl. He’s very much so aware of what he’s doing. He said as much in his postgame interview. I’m not going to fault him for it. Not one bit.

What ‘football move’ is required when you land out of bounds? Does he have to pop up and strike a Heisman pose? When a receiver lays out on the sideline with a double toe tap. There’s no football move made.

He’s a true master at it. Most games they don’t even have to wash his uniform. I’m absolutely certain it’s super frustrating for the defense.

It’s another game with a marginal AFC ‘contender’. There’s still plenty of season to be played.

How many more times do I have to say it to you? I’ve tried just about every way possible…and NONE of them are about any hatred of gay people, as much as you want it to be. Let me try another. Go to the toy store this weekend and buy a barnyard puzzle for a toddler. I’ll GUARANTEE you that the puzzle will have both a horse and a zebra. We don’t teach our kids that a zebra is a ‘striped horse’. The two things may look alike, but we have different words to describe them. A zebra is no better than a horse, nor vice versa. (In chef terms a yam is not a sweet potato, and a parsnip is not a white carrot….at least I don’t think so anyway). There’s nothing at ALL degrading about having a more precise language. I have no idea why you think there is.

It’s a Catch 22. Brady’s made a career out of releasing the ball early. He hasn’t always had the best OLine. Josh will learn that skill, but unfortunately it may take a nasty hit for him to do it. Last night there multiple plays where he could’ve dumped it down to RB or TE. They were wide open. But so far, thank goodness, he’s getting away with it.

The bottom line is that it’s just this sort of splitting hairs that muddles up the spirit of the sport. That was a catch. The player shouldn’t have to keep the ball from MOVING! The ball is always moving.

Same here…I kept expecting to see his eyes blinking at me through the binoculars. 😉
