Wilson was averaging less than 5 yards a pass. The problem wasn't we rushed him, the problem was Taron got beat and had to recover and his first instinct was play the man not the ball and got flagged for it. Do we blame coaches or players at that point? It can go both ways but last night I blame Taron on that, as he's been horrible in coverage most of this season.

You dont think its the coaches fault for not understanding the postion hes putting his players in?

You and I know Taron has been dog****......so why tf is mdcdermott putting him in that position?

  2. Well when he spends 80% of the money on defense it doesnt hurt as much when you lose players.

We have hindered this offense for too long. This whole regime was invest in the defense and hope Josh can cover up the clear weaknesses on the offense....ive been screaming for good offensive lineman 5 freakin years.

They wanna blame Allen....but if you take him away the pieces around him are mediocre.

Well after the 0-2 start they have gone 5-2, including a great win against the same Bengals team we couldn't put away last week. Stroud looks like the real deal and they appear to have two really good lines and a bunch of quality players.

I was called out a little last week when I compared their stats in their win over TB to ours but now we have 2 weeks worth of stats to indicate they appear to have a stronger team than ours at this point in the year.

Stroud put up 356 and they run for 188 (150 for Motor!), when we passed for 258 and ran for 68. They also sacked Burrows 4 times and had 2 picks. We on the other hand had 1 sack and no picks.

Full disclosure, I didn't watch the game but caught the highlights and from what I saw they're a fun team to watch. There's a lot of enthusiasm on their sideline and they don't have the burden of being expected to do much of anything this year in their head, and appear to be having a lot of fun in the process. They have a relatively soft schedule the rest of the season, play 5 of their next 8 at home, so we'll see what happens.

Stroud be throwin some of the nicest balls ive seen in a long time.

  4. Im not playing this game.

No hot offensive coordinator would take our offensive coodirnater position as they would be taking an HC job.

So that means we would have another subpar offensive mind operating this team.

Which means another season down the ***** drain.

  5. You know what the saddest thing is?

There have been many of us the have been screaming for an offensive line as a priority to get this offense in a place where it can be near greatness....

from that god awful 2018 line to 2023....almost nothing has changed. All we have done is poured money into our defense only to watch them consistently get picked apart by any good QB.

So the direction of this team has been greatly mishandled.

  6. I remember where I was when Von signed....I was bowling with the boys having a few beers and having a great time.....then I saw that we got him....

NICE.....then I saw what we paid about 5 minutes later....I went into a full on rage.

I've watched these past 4 years, the window isn't closing, it's closed.

Allen isn't the answer. Good QB, but he can't win the clutch games. Oh I know fans will throw a multitude of excuses....coaching, personnel, and each have merit on their own right.

Beans and McD need to go, so does Allen. Let Diggs go to. Get what you can in trade value. That should be solid building blocks if the right management team and coaching staff are assembled.

Many will hate this opinion, but if your not accepting the reality of the current situation, then your living your Bills Fandom in la la land.

The current organizational make up, from management and coaching to roster personnel is not taking this team anywhere.

I know, hate it, hate me and a growing number that share this opinion, but it won't change the reality on the ground. This team is going nowhere, and the past 4+ years outcomes project this.

The time for denial is over. It's time to move on to acceptance.

Before will move an elite talent like Josh Allen....why dont we actually do what we should have done after 13 seconds and clear out the entire staff and start with a strong offensive mind running the helm? What do you think?

I am excited to bringing my 11 year old son to Buffalo for his first ever game at Orchard Park!!  I feel it is important to get him to this stadium before the new one is finished so that he can have the "Orchard Park" experience!   My son and I will be going to the Nov 19th Bills vs Jets game.   We will be flying and therefore I will not be able to have my truck load of tailgating equipment (grills, coolers, canopies...etc).   Are there any "family" friendly tailgates that my son and I could pay for and join?  Anything near where Kenny Pinto is?

I went to my first game last year in December against the Jets. Flew from Miami. I paid the money to park at the Hammer lot.

I dont think it was that crazy when I went and pinto ron did not do the mustard and ketchup bit... but it was quite the experience.

After the game The girlfriend and I sat with some of the lot guys and gals around a fire waiting for the traffic to go down. Pinto fed the group some baked potatos with cheese and talked football.

    Good times.

Great team, and they could absolutely beat us on Sunday.

But what's the deal?  Reading this board, we seem to have little to no chance.  If I just went by the posts here, I'd think Cincy was the top team in the league, and unstoppable.

The Bills have lost as many games as the Bengals.  Our losses were all close. Basically down to a play or 2.  The Bengals have been absolutely blown out - twice. Against the Browns and Titans; not exactly world beaters.

"Burrow's calf was hurt" seems to be the main excuse.  Kind of like JA's UCL the entire 2nd half of the 2022 season, or his shoulder much of this season.  Excuses are just that.  That team has gotten blown out - twice.

This is as even a match of good teams as there is in the NFL.  Let's take a break on the doom talk.  Their struggles have been very similar to ours this year.  This should be a great game.

They were gonna blow us away before Hamlin died...and then they embarrassed us in the playoffs with 4 3rd string offensive linemen....Burrow finally has got his groove back. I expect us to get smashed again

  10. He loves using timeouts on key defensive plays just to get a look at the offensive formation....so he can adjust....in theory it seems fine....but it infuriates me because its not like offenses dont have 3 or 4 great plays in their book at key moments.

For example against the Pats we could have really benefitted from having an extra timeout.

It is absolutely insane that Bills fans think there is something uniquely horrifying about the way their team wins games. It makes every place you can go to read about the Bills on the internet completely insufferable.

Tonight is a game that looked EXACTLY like the VAST MAJORITY of games (especially Thursday games) between a good team and a decent team. This was an ARCHETYPE of an NFL football game. And your team won! ***** enjoy it! Holy *****!

I do agree with this.....but man.......this team is playing way below their standard. Its ugly stuff.

  12. McDermott has been calling defensive timeouts on important defensive plays his whole time here. Id say 60% of them are horrible.

He wants to take a look at the offensive formation and then use a time out to adjust. Its like he thinks there is only 1 play for that situation.

Id assume every single oppossing coach knows this already and has 2 to 3 plays lined up for this.

Its stupid and it frustrates the hell out of me. He used a vital timeout last week doing that against the Pats. We could have had two time outs on that final drive.

Ken Dorsey doesn’t keep Allen from running. It’s a fun excuse. Allen can run whenever he wants.

Sometimes I think fans believe Allen is a Madden player and Dorsey is controlling him. Allen’s best running is instinctual.

I dont believe that based on everything weve seen and heard in the offseason and during the season.
