Kyle Williams with the endzone sack/fumble/TD on Johnny Football. (Which was bogusly overturned by the replay.)
Playing the Jets in Detroit (after the snowmageddeon in WNY), Scott Chandler doing the shovel move TD dance.

Dray-Flo making Sanchez flinch when he was lined up in the wildcat formation.
Fitz throwing a 98 yard TD pass to TO on an audible.
Related to beating the pats* 31-0, Sam Adams' pick-6.
Related to beating the pats* in 2011, Dray-Flo's pick-6.
Losman making a last second TD pass to win a game (Jags? Carolina?)
Nate Clements picking off Peyton Manning in his rookie year.
Nate Clements leveling Brady.

Agree. Lombardi says some interesting things but he is basically just a puppet of BB. He was dreadful in Cleveland.
So was Belichick.

DiGreggorio
It's not delivery, it's DiGiorgio.
DiGregorio (AKA "Ernie D") played for the Buffalo Braves in the 70s.

I never assumed that our defense would be as good or better under Rex - in fact, I had a feeling it would be like Gregg Williams dismantling a great defense to implement his own scheme, and failing miserably because the personnel didn't match the scheme. Sadly, I was right.
As for the offense under Dennison, it's hard to predict, since he wasn't the play-caller under Kubiak. But it looks like the offense he runs is pretty compatible with the BIlls' personnel.

I can imagine a certain segment on this board if he didn't work out...
"LEAVE IT TO DA BILLZ TO HIRE A GUY WITH A DEGREE IN CREATIVE WRITING TO RUN A FOOTBALL TEAM"
The coach who took the Bills to four consecutive Super Bowls has a degree in English Literature.

It wasn't just a restructuring: it was a pay cut. That more than the 5th round pick tells me they don't think he's the QB of the future. And I think that most people agree that they'll be drafting a QB in the 1st next year.
McD said that they'll have an open competition. I think TT will win it, but it doesn't mean he'll be handed the job.
Fair enough - it was a pay cut. But they could have cut him altogether, which would have been the smart thing to do if they were certain that he's not the future. It's probably somewhere in the middle: "Tyrod, we're setting the scene to draft a QB in the first round next year. Give us a reason not to."
-
So the original poster is saying that it is easier for draft picks to win a roster spot on the Buffalo Bills, who haven't been to the playoffs this century, then it is to win a roster spot on the world champion New England Patriots. I guess that proves Whaley was a genius.
All stats need to be viewed in context, and you just provided the context.
-
Beyond that, they've essentially said that TT isn't the Bills' QB of the future. So it's Peterman or Cardale, or maybe even Woodrum. They will get every chance to start. And if TT wins again, they'll draft a QB in the 1st next year.
Restructuring his contract and drafting a QB in the fifth round doesn't mean they think Tyrod isn't the future. It just says, "We're still not sure about him, so we're keeping our options open."

I respect you.
Exactly. Bledsoe was an elite quarterback. He was the first pick of the 1993 draft; a Pro Bowler; a Super Bowl QB; the face of the franchise. He flicked his wrist and the ball traveled 50 yards on a frozen rope.
To think noodle-armed, bowl-cut Brady beat Drew Bledsoe out in practice is silly. The dude looked like he had just stepped out of his mom's SUV from rec league soccer practice to run the 40 at the Combine. He was 2 years of backing up Bledsoe away from being at a desk job for the rest of his life. The start of his career was the perfect storm. From his first start, to his 5th Super Bowl ring, Brady's career is the most improbable series of events in the history of the NFL. Possibly the most improbable series of events in the history of America. Haha.
If I believed in the supernatural, I might think he went down the the crossroads and made a deal with an unsavory character.

"Now that the draft has ended, the Bills can move on. The only problem is that the new G.M. may not have hired the fairly new head coach. Which could eventually set the stage for even more dysfunction, culminating in the new G.M. wanting his own coach unless the new coach ends up being stronger than the usual G.M."
So, its a lose-lose scenario, unless you already had a secret agreement with your future GM.
Or you hire a GM who gets along with your HC.

TIL that Talia Shire (Connie Corleone) is the sister of Francis Ford Coppola. I've seen The Godfather countless times - how did I not know this already?

Doug look at me..
I'm the captain now
This was funny before, but it's eerily appropriate now.

why is he saying hello...and to whom?
He's saying hello to the guy who thinks the Pegulas are the worst owners in sports. Why? Because he likes him.

The Pegulas are officially the worst owners in professional sports.
Jimmy Haslam says hello.

Interesting...
I wonder if it'll be a wide open competition like in Rex's first year where they rotate reps with the 1's between all the QBs?
Or if Tyrod will start with the 1's until/unless someone steals it away from him...
I think it's Tyrod's job until someone outperforms him.
-
That was pretty much a given after Tyrod agreed to the contract restructuring, but they couldn't say it in public until now because it would have tipped their hand in the draft and free agency.

Lol Gruden praises everybody
What did he say about Tebow? "All he does is WIN!"

Matt Milano's dad wished a black RB was his son
Maybe next year we'll trade Milano for Shady's replacement. Where's Chip Kelly coaching these days? ;-)

I think it was the most "Buffalo" TD celebration ever. What's not to like about it?
