... thus ended Scott Chandler's QB tryout.

I'm sick to death of them always showing "Elvis" on TV.
... to Buffalo.

"The Bills currently hold the NFL's longest active streak for non-playoff seasons."
"... and their last playoff appearance ended with ..." (and then I hit the mute button.)
And any time a Bills FG misses to the right, I automatically reach for the mute button.

According to John Gruden, Nickell Roby has the perfect first name for his position.

Agreed, but I understand those 55 and older prefer Connery.
I'm told if you watched The Saint during it's original broadcasts it would ruin Moore as Bond.
I only saw The Saint during re-runs at the cottage in the mid-70s.
I'm under 55 (not by much) and Connery is my favorite Bond. Roger Moore was admirable, though. He had a tough act to follow, and he did it well.
I'm shaken but not stirred by this news.

I wished he had played last year.
That was my first thought too.

Someone posted on FB that John Mayer was God with regard to his work with D&C. My reply was if he was really a God re his musical ability wouldn't he be raking in the dough playing his own music vs playing Jerry's riffs?
I wouldn't call John Mayer a god, but he is an excellent guitarist. His own music is a bit too "pop" for me, but I was really impressed with him when I saw D&C. He and Oteil were playing off of each other all through the show. Their chemistry with the rest of the band was great. And he's not playing Jerry's riffs - Bob Weir specifically said that they didn't want an imitator; they wanted someone who knew how to jam. That's why they picked Trey Anastasio for Fare Thee Well, and why they went with Mayer for D&C.

I wonder if there's a chapter on standing on the sidelines with a look of total befuddlement after something bad happens.
Sounds like Rex Ryan's forte.

For a moment I thought this might be related to the "male rompers" thread.

I realize that Freddie was not an elite RB, but he's one of the few Bills players in modern times who put his whole heart and soul into the game. Regardless of injuries, FJ left it all on the field, 100%, every game. Kyle too. I'd put 'em both on the Wall.

Last year we saw Funktional Flow (Buffalo band) at the Great Blue Heron Music Festival. I highly recommend seeing them.

They play mostly original music with occasional covers.

For strictly on-field performance, I don't think I've ever hated a Bills player more than Fitzpatrick. Whether it was the ball slipping out of his baby hands whenever he tried to put some extra zip on a throw, or one of a seemingly endless list of 4th quarter choke jobs, it hit me very early on that this guy was just a born loser. Even when he played well it seemed like it was happening by accident. Seems like a nice guy off the field, but excruciatingly frustrating to watch as your team's QB.
Even more than the guy he replaced? Fitz is a mediocre QB at best, but at least he plays with guts and passion. Trent played like his mother would yell at him if he got grass stains on his uniform.

On a serious note. So even if she did choke on his member it's pretty easy to see if someone is choking to death.
True, and if she had been choking, her reflex would have pulled her away. If she didn't back off, then he must have been holding her head so she couldn't. Manslaughter, at a minimum.

Early 90s, there was a show called Eerie Indiana:

Now this is a topic I can get behind.

How can I leave this behind?"

Good article. I'll take dull competence over flashy idiocy any day.

...the Wrecks experiment was a two year setback.....so we're back to ground zero at least with some young gun football guys in charge.......playoffs may not be a reasonable goal this early, but who the hell knows?...so stay tuned....
I will. (See above post about being crazy.)

Mildly optimistic. It was clear that Rex was taking the team in the wrong direction, so I'm expecting some improvement due to the coaching change. Frankly, I don't think it'll take a LOT of improvement to at least make the playoffs, so I'm not ruling out the postseason entirely, but I'm also not expecting it this year.
After 17 years and no playoffs.. you are crazy if you are optimistic.
We're Bills fans. Calling us crazy is redundant.
