Sorry, wasn't thinking PSL's strictly. More our tax payers paying for stadiums. Don't think that would pass. Then fans have to pay this PSL fee. Now that's a fans choice I agree. And I said if they do fine but don't complain about your taxes. Bottom line I think all stadiums being built using our state taxes would not pass a popular vote.

You are probably correct about that.

Olive Garden doesn't build their restaurants with public funds.

Ok but how is that relevant?   The bills stadium is partially build with public funds the other part is from pegula and ultimately PSLs.  If legislature  passed a bill to build 60% of an Olive Garden restaurant do you expect free food?   I guess the analogy would be if Olive Garden charged a fee to have the right to go through the door.  So you would object to the fee but cost of dinner is ok?   You have the choice regardless to go there or not.

But it's still the demand of the minority. Put these to a public vote statewide and it goes down but you'll never see that.

Put what to a vote?  PSL's?  that makes no sense.  Do people vote if the Olive Garden offers chicken parm?  Its on the market, buy it or don't buy it, it is all of our choice.

  4. Making the fans pay is better than making the tax payers pay IMO.   They are doing a mix though.

They can do it because demand is there, it's just that simple.

Is the 10% interest loan accurate?. If so, anyone that finances the PSL should reexamine their personal finances.

10%, pay cash or you are a sucker

You don’t know that. We lost corner after corner last season and players kept stepping up. Players who fans viewed as not being depth going into last season. Same for the LB corps.

Dane Jackson stepped up Rasul Douglass stepped up.   They were both known quantities.  The bills had white benford jackson and Elam going into last season…three with significant starting experience and one first round rookie.  This year you have Douglas benford and Elam as known quantities.  It’s not a huge emergencencybut CB depth is light compared to lat year.

  6. I am good with trading back with the first if the right people are not there and potentially using 4's and 5's to move up into the third.   The moving around totally depends on what guys are there or not there at the time.   Also, that is per their evaluation, not internet research.   I think if the Bills get 8-9 roster-able players that would be ideal although very different than recent history.

  7. There is no depth at CB.....Jamarcus Ingram....not so sure.   They have lost Tre and Dane Jackson as depth...that is significant.

Safety is similar, Rapp and Edwards then what?  Hamlin and Cam Lewis (190 lb) don't make me too confident.   They will fill in to get to 90 with some bodies, they need a couple to really stand out.

This team will not have the depth they had in recent years on paper going into the season and that is OK by me since they are getting a little healthier cap wise.

Chiefs got a 2025 3rd round pick, and the teams swapped 2024 7th round picks.
    Titans robbed them.

Poor return for a player of that caliber, imo.

Trades are about the player and the contract.  Often compensation is misunderstood because people only consider the player.

or a guard that can shift to center - eric wood.

Wood played Center in college and the pros.

They also can easily find a David Edwards type in FA.  This regime likes guys with NFL starting experience to build the depth, I would not rule that out.

For calibration purposes, check out his take on Dalton Kincaid from last June, quoted here:

I would like to see an exact quote or a transcript where he says those words.

If someone can find the end of season presser he actually talked about wanting to stay more in shape this offseason.  That goes against the less is more idea but also kind of acknowledges he thinks he should change something.

Mahomes has Reid. Allen has McDermott.

There really is nothing more that needs to be said.

Reid is an advantage however the topic of this thread is not who their coach is, rather it's the level of work done in the offseason.  It is reasonable to question that and it might be reasonable to say "who cares", no one knows how much that really impacts things but would you rather have a guy who works his craft all offseason at the same time as having fun or just having fun?  I also personally have no idea what Mahomes and Allen actually do.  But Allen is on the record as saying he does not do much for a good portion.  Basically my take is even though Josh is the best thing that has ever happened to this franchise in a very long time, he is not above fans questioning things.
