The middle of the field was wide open with Edmonds there. Bernard is going to get destroyed in this defense.
Yep season over.. we didn’t sign Tranquill

I don't like Gesicki going to the Pats... He's always given us fits.
Not worried one bit. Mac Jones is garbage

He'll be used as a big slot receiver and probably have 900 receiving and 10 TDs for them
Probably not

Looks like we are continuing on playing the finesse game. What’s wrong with finding lineman that can run and pass protect. We need more balance in the offense. Especially late in the year when the weather changes
Because those guys are usually 15 million a year

We’ve won the AFC East 3 years in a row! Not the ultimate goal but it’s a great accomplishment.
Take a minute and appreciate it.
But we aren’t spending 800 million in free agency right now so it’s unacceptable

Hmmm, does this signal us being mostly done? If so, unacceptable.Well considering they need 90 players on the roster I’ll say no they aren’t done. People like you are insufferable on here this time of year.

Fair enough ..I’ll counter with … we didn’t need to bring back Poyer. Matakevich, Neal + Poyer = (probably) around 10M this year.
Ed Oliver, another 10M.
What could 20M do for this Offense?
Thats the question the Chiefs and Bengals seem to constantly ask themselves. Chiefs let’s their best Safety and CB walk last year. Bengals let their two starting safeties walk this year.
We spend it on 2 Special Teams Aces, a Safety and an inconsistent DT.
What teams would be be lining up to take the 10 million inconsistent DT off our hands then?

I know, you misread my post. I wrote $10M for rookies, PS players, 52/53 player and some in season moves, and I meant all these things together.
$2M rookies
$4M PS players
$1.7M 52/53 player (not counted now, counted once the season starts)
$3M bacis buffer for season
Hence ~$10M total.
Curious why PS players count toward the cap? Thought it was just top 51 on active roster

Honestly, this was probably the year to play the comp pick game and they are clearly not going to do it. They target specific players and it doesn’t appear that they take the comp pick game into account.Hard to play the comp pick game when they have so many roster spots to fill

It's only been rough if you were expecting some kind of crazy spending spree happening and big names coming in when we were going into it 18.7 over the cap and had 24 players to re-sign or replace.
Every signing a team makes… “oh my god they just got better than us.. we are done”.

According to Spotrac, we're currently at 11.5 under WITHOUT the numbers for Jordan Poyer and Kyle Allen.
So right now, we may have close to nothing left. If the figure of 7 is correct for Poyer and we can estimate Allen at around a million, we're probably about 3.5 under right now.
If we want to sign anyone else, we're going to have to clear up some more space. We can save 2.5 today if we release Isaiah McKenzie before a 300k roster bonus comes in for him tomorrow.
And people all pissy we didn’t sign Orlando Brown and trade for Hopkins 😂

It HAS?! What did I miss? Did the Dolphins win the free agency championship? Are the Jets lighting the future on fire to go all-in with an old, salty/narcissistic GB HoF QB...AGAIN? Is the Buffalo defensive roster suddenly terrible minus only really a divisive LB? Roster/depth chart holes only persist at IOL2/3, OT2/3, TE2, RB3, WR2/3, and MLB1. Going into a draft, that ain't half bad.
March 16th and people are in full panic mode 😂

Upgrade over McKenzie who I’d imagine will be released so this is almost a wash money wise for this season.

Just have a bad feeling about this team / roster for this year
they’re not going to move the needle (which we all knew/ beane presser) with free agency this year
they will have to HIT on some draft players. They need one or two IMPACT PLAYERS. Like a mark andrews te 3rd rd. Chris jones 2nd rd DT.
and ultimately. Both things will have to happen. 1) Allen will have to play flawless , elite level, no let downs, no injuries. MVP level 2) coaching has to be elite in playoffs
just don’t see both those things happening. Or the draft HiTs
It’s March

lol those numbers are pretty much peanuts nowadays. Calm down
1 hour ago, Chugga said:I just don’t get it. You want someone running jet sweeps we have McKenzie and for far cheaper. You want a threat in the return game we have Nyheim Hines and once again for much cheaper. This just seems like a weird use of resources.
Obviously I could be wrong and maybe he adds something dynamic that I just don’t see but it seems awfully expensive when we could have taken a flier on a 6th round WR at a fraction of the cost and paid for a MLB instead
Yeah but Harty is a far better player and a million more on the cap isn’t anything

Orlando Brown please. I think going G with our 1st pick would also be a huge benefit since neither Bates nor McGovern are really starters. We should definitely be looking to upgrade the IOL. I can't believe how much we're paying McGovern either. We did the same thing with Star. Why do we keep signing below average linemen and overpaying them? It's really frustrating.
Where’s the 20+ million a year coming from?

2.2. will just abut pay for your first- round pick. Estimated total for all picks is 7,8 million.
Totally wrong. It’s 2.2 when you factor in the top 51. You don’t just add up all the picks and take that number.

Unfortunately, Josh Allen may have priced them out of adding FA over a 3rd round pick. That's the thing with having a franchise QB getting paid like one...hitting on your top 100 picks is a must, those guys have to be able to start at some point in their rookie deals
Should probably trade Allen then so people on here can have a more exciting free agency
