  1. I read somewhere's that walmart has already built a store on Mars...
  2. I see no one has mentioned cookbooks... I must have 40+ of them, used to collect them. Some of them date back to the 1940's but most are between then and 1980 but mostly 50's and 60's. Also have a signed Paul Prudhomme hardcover and some old ones from churches and such. Some have personal notes in pencil in them regarding an adjustment of the recipe. The way they used to use lard... surprised a lot of people lived to their 90's.

How about... yes... you must be familiar or still own the vinyl. Very strange group with superb music, in the sense that not much is known about them. Great psych band for a few years, heck, some of the great psych bands back then only had one album ie Growing Concern, Art of Lovin, Ill Wind, etc. Here is a, take it with some salt, look back at WCPAEB along with a couple of great examples:

Maybe in earlier years, I don't know about that, but most known for psychedelic rock on a major label. Two words in the name of the group were mentioned in this particular "who is this guy?".

Not him. This would be psychedelic rock on a major label.

Looking around a bit more he did own a record label... albeit a small one. He was part of a group that wasn't into hot rods and the beach scene.
  12. Tim Russert's books are a very good read... I would recommend them to anyone, Bills fan or not.
  13. Some really good video here along with the story... been checking this out for awhile... oddly, just mentioned him in the book thread but Bradbury got me into the planet many many years ago. https://www.baynews9.com/fl/tampa/news/2021/02/17/perseverance--how-nasa-rover-s-mars-mission-is-different

    Crystal Beach

I used to love Glen Park when I was a pee wee... then was big enough to go to Crystal Beach and Fantasy Island so I think the trips there got cut off.
  15. I've read a lot of books in my life so its hard to name a favorite. Always liked Bradbury's short stories compiled into book form... Golden Apples of the Sun, etc. The Electric Kool-aid Acid Test is a pretty good read, as well as On The Road. Anything by Hunter Thompson or Tolkien.

    Crystal Beach

There was some talk of it in 4 kidd 4's thread but I didn't want to spam his Aud thread. I'm guessing that a bunch here have a lot of memories of the place as do I. The Cyclone was ahead of my time and it looks a little brutal lol. Nice to see some Bills and Sabres gear in this one... I watched it around an hour ago and my eyes did get moist, these days are no longer with us and man o man was it ever exciting. The first 3 words of the actual video say it all... enjoy:
