  1. I think it is important to retain veterans like this. High character guy, good leadership skills, and he will show young guys how to be a pro. He played great last year, I thought he played even better when he was playing part time. The games where he was playing 80 snaps, was way too much for someone his age.

Special team captain and rotational pass rusher. Seems like we got a pretty good value.

I think he can get us 7 sacks next year.

  2. I love the move, Taylor is probably in the 15-20 range for starting QBs, it is not smart to let a guy like that go. I still think it is possible to make the playoffs with a guy like Tyrod under center.

Saying that, I think the Bills view TT as a bridge QB (can't really ask for a better one). I still think they are targeting a QB in the draft. My guess would be Watson in round 1 or Evans in round 5.

GM DORSEY Can Kiss my ARzzz or he talking out his you know what just a smoke screen.

Pat Mahomes will be a Pro Bowler mark it down

    1st Take

I wrote this in another post a bout Mahomes. This guy is the best QB in the draft bar none. He will be a pro bowler down the line. He is the closest thing to Aaron Rogers and Brett Farve there is.

He makes un believable throws that are Acurate from weird angels and with bad foot work. This guy is the one you want. NFL is not like college. You don't always get a lot of clean pockets and you don't always get to set up and throw on balance or get your feet set. I want a QB that can throw on the run or throw when his feet are not correct and with people are in his face. This guy can do that in spades. Go watch him on YouTube you will see something extraordinary. Don't get fooled about the experts saying oh his foot work is bad, His back leg shakes, Blah, Blah, Blah. Watch Chargers Rivers, Watch GB Rogers these guys throw at all angels, throw with in correct foot work and throw on the move across there body all the time. Who the Fu@k cares how they throw it. Does he complete the passes yes he does. Yes you will be required to do that in The NFL. Good one's can pull it off. Well when I watch Mahomes that's what I see. So please just stop the nonsense. If we get this guy a great new Era in Bills football is about to begin.

    2nd Take

Let me ask all the detractors of him, how many times does a NFL QB go back and set up and not have to move off his spot. Most times QBs end up having to move and throw off there back foot

or throw moving forward or rolling out. Playing QB in the NFL you don't have a lot of time. Go watch this kid play, watch him throw. He is doing amazing stuff. Making throws from all sorrts or bad angles of his back foot, flat footed and on the run. Most of them right on the mark. I could care less about his satistics or how many TDs he's thrown. He has started a ton of games. This guy is a leader and he has a very strong arm. He can do things most QB's can only dream about. He is Farve he is Rogers he has that gift. Keep wanting that perfect foot work and throwing motion guy. I will take this guy over that guy 10 ways to Sunday every day of the week. If we are lucky to get this guy I will be dancing in the street. I will take him with the first pick in the draft, he is that good.

    3rd Take
Here is Patrick Mahomes playing against the great LSU Tigers Defense from the SEC in his Bowl Game. Just some unbelievable plays by Mahomes. These are the type of players he will be playing against in the NFL. Maybe he will have some offensive linemen to protect him. LSU is chasing him all over the field and the kid is just making plays like a Farve or Rogers would. This guy is special you can just see it, feel it and sense it. These might be his most interesting high lights because of the stud defense LSU has. This is fun to watch. It's like watching Farve in his prime

    4th Take
You can't teach what Mahomes does and how he makes those throws in any of his games or in that LSU game against future NFL defenders. Only guys like Farve and Rogers and a hand full of other QB's can do that. I don't care what anyone says. I said it when the Bills passed on Russell Wilson and I say it right now.You pass on this guy your making a big mistake. I can't wait for the John Gruden QB camp thing with Mahomes. Just like the Russell Wilson one. Man you could just tell that he was going to be special. Here it is for those who missed Russell Wilson with John Gruden how do you not draft this guy after watching this

I will close By Saying this, Mahomes is the Guy I want but I like Watson a lot. Tyrod has to wait until his reciever is open before he throws it. Thats no way to play QB in the NFL. You have to throw it before they make there break and throw it over the middle, Time to move on for the Bills in my opinion.

You really like Mahomes. I agree he is an intriguing prospect. It is silly to say he is a sure probowler though, the QB bust rate is very high. Odds are there might be one franchise guy from this draft. I would put my money on Watson because he makes very quick decisions and has great short and intermediate accuracy. Watson also has the "it" factor in big games and is a leader. Mahomes has an elite arm and can make improvisational throws that don't look possible. If he develops properly he could end up being Farve or Stafford like. He does have some very scary traits too though. He makes slow decisions on intermediate throws (not uncommon for guys with huge arms), accuracy can be inconsistent because he has horrific foot work, he drifts away from pressure rather than stepping up in the pocket, and he has never had to read a defence (Texas Tech has a very easy offence to play). He has to develop in a lot of areas to become a good NFL player, far from a sure thing.

  4. You can say that every year about the QBs. Most of them play in spread systems which means they will not be ready to start right away.

Watson has a lot of elite traits, he has a chance to be as good as Mariota.

Trubisky is a smart player with a solid arm. I see him becoming similar to a Tannehill.

Kizer has and NFL arm, with NFL size. He shows a lot of NFL throws on tape. He is very raw, I don't know how he will turn out, but those type of guys don't usually work out.

Mahommes has a phenomenal arm, his foot work is terrible, accuracy can be inconsistent, and has never read a defence in his life. The guy is a gamer though, he could be similar to Stafford if everything works out perfectly. He is not even close to being able to play this year though.

That is four guys that have a chance to be a franchise QB. Doesn't matter if they are ready to play year 1, if they have a chance they are worth a round 1 pick. QBs probably have a 70% chance of becoming a bust. It will always be a risk but if you don't draft one you won't have one.

A sure thing comes along about once every 5-10 years. Luck was the last one, Darnold may be the next. He is obviously going to go number 1 next year and no one is trading that pick next year. The odds of us getting the first pick are about the same as us winning the Super Bowl. I don't see that happening. The other QBs everyone is raving about are about the same level as the guys we are looking at this year.

I hope Watson is there when we pick at 10, I am interested to see what Whaley does this year. If Watson isn't there I hope we trade down, I think you can get an equivalent prospect at 25. This is a very deep draft, we could use some extra picks.

  5. The combine didn't change my mind on Watson ... I'd be very happy picking him, even at #10.

He's intelligent, a leader and a winner, if you never draft a QB, you'll never find one.

That is exactly how I feel. I think Watson has a chance to be special. I hope he doesn't get drafted before ten. I would be surprised if he didn't turn into a Mariota at the next level.
