He was a great person and was active in the school that my family is in. One of his children is good friends with one of mine. Young man with 4 young children and a wife. I can’t imagine what they’re going through right now.

If you feel like blessing a young family that really needs it right now, I will include the link below. These are good people and I assure you every dollar would help.

Thank you to all for the kind thoughts and prayers. Also thanks to those who contributed to the GoFundMe.

We used to get the family together and come to games, especially for the TBDAHOT (home opener if you did not know).

LONG time ago two of my daughters were TBD raffle ticket girls (Baby Rock and Pebbles 😄). Old timers will remember.

Luckily my youngest daughter has a lot of support from both sides of the family. I cannot tell you what it is like to get this kind of news. Since I am retired I am a primary taxi for school, daycare, and dance.

Jamie was like a son to me, and my daughter is getting stronger every day. None of us knows where this new normal will lead, but it has a good foundation. There is a hole in that foundation will never be filled. So we look to the future and pray, What else can we do?

Again, thank you and I pray you are blessed with a strong family that pulls together when sh*t happens.

Sorry for the loss. I unfortunately just lost my best friend this past Wednesday who was a die hard Bills fan and thought I should have a thread to share how amazing of a person he was. Then I happened to see this thread and thought I'd just mention it here...

Gary was like a brother to me and because of him I went to my 1st Bills game. We had planned 30 years ago we were making the long trip up for the parade if Bills ever win a SB. Anyway, he was a true friend and I couldn't have hoped for a better one. My heart is crushed and a piece of me left when he did.

Elam gets to much hate he is probably our biggest and most athletic DB and hasn’t looked terrible out there.

I wouldn’t be giving him up for pennies he’s 22 years old

you always need DBs as well so we would just be drafting a 5th-7th rounder to replace him or signing an old vet no thanks

I fully agree, I understand it should be a certain level of frustration with him, but some talk like he is worthless. He's had some flashes here and there, also I for one thought that INT he made in the EZ against Steelers in the playoffs was a damn good play.

He is a fun follow, just keep Damars name out your mouth

Did yall hear his response? Talking about he'll get butt rped ? but by someone other than him. ?

Really a sad storyc, dude was on pace to being a top 5 - 10 WR all time and devolved into an awful rapper/Internet troll

If he was mentally "ok" even, he'd likely be playing for a contender this season.. Sad

Yeah, I don't bother wasting any time paying attention to these sort of ignorant things....

When hearing about the anal rape comment it kinda reminded me of back when Mike Tyson talked about eating someones children

McClappy lost to “Pey-A-ton” and that mess of a team at home because he can’t be bothered to count anymore either

That was unacceptable especially from an experienced HC that has been talked up as one of the top....

Also it could be considered a blessing in disguise because if Bills won Dorsey would have stayed around longer. I'm not sure if Bills go on that winning streak with Dorsey.

Not even close? This is just factually wrong. We got the exact comparison you're making just last season. Tre White was at least at 80% last season. And that best game you talk about? It wasn't better than Douglas' best game. The games that weren't that game, he wasn't playing at the level that Douglas was for us prior to going down in Miami.

He didn't fully return to form with any sort of consistency before the Achilles injury. And now he'll be coming back from that too. He's a complete question mark at this point. There's no saying he'll even be 80% of what he was. It's incorrect to say that he was better than Douglas last year and insane to say he definitively will be when he returns.

Not trying to get all up in you guys conversation, but just wanted to say Benford is emerging as the best corner imo. Of course you can't leave out T. Johnson either

    Because he always has.

He was still playing at an extremely high level in the 10 games he played in 2022 at age 33.

If we get 80% of that 10 game in 2022 Von Miller, it's better than "some of the younger guys."  And who exactly are "some of the younger guys" you're referring to?

I just think he may be at that point in his career that this time may be different. And yes I agree he did play well those 10 games in 2022 at 33yo. Now this is 2024 and age 35. May not seem like much, but those 2 years from 33 to 35 can be a bigger difference than it seems. Don't get me wrong, I hope he does but I just have my doubts.

The younger guys I was thinking of was obviously AJE, Kingsley played hard when he got opportunities

It wasn't just 8 or 9 games to round back into form after his last injury.  It was 6 games and then an entire offseason and then however many games in 2023 you would argue it took him in 2024.

Von now has an entire offseason to get his body right and recover.

You're actually convincing me even more that cutting Von simply won't happen.  It's clear you think it's strictly his age as the reason he's "shot."  You've hitched your wagon to that idea, and that's fine.

Brandon Beane signed him to a contract that very clearly intended to keep him for at least 3 years, plus the previous restructure.

Von Miller is not getting cut.  He'll have the offseason to recover and get right and then we get to see what percent of the old Von he is in 2024.

I'm just not sure what it is that would make you feel confident enough at this point in his career he can return to perform very much better than some of the younger guys

I don't dispute the final point - to be clear. But Von is toast. I'll happily eat crow if he isn't but I put the chances he is back at less than 5%.

I also don't have any issue moving on from both. But I'd probably try and find a pay cut I can live with for Tre first.

Yeah I think so too. Think probably at this point they'd end up better off to move on

Is it me or does Diggs look like he gained weight? His face looks a little different.

Maybe he lost motivation when Brady came onboard and cut down his downfield routes, started mailing it in a little.

Then he couldn't turn the focus back on when needed to on the few deep shots he got late in the year...

If anything, I'd guess it's probably that he's getting older and at that part in his career when a player starts to lose a lil juice or whatever.

But anyones guess is as good as mine I assume

Why do so many people not care about Diggs? Disrespect him? Think so poorly of him?

Go to a game. He is on the field warming up with as much passion as anyone. He talks to the crowd, he makes the game special for many people - especially children. The dude wears his heart on his sleeve for each game and remains a higher end talent at WR.

It's weird - especially because he is the only WR we have going into next season.

It may seem that way now, but I wouldn't be shocked if something happens and he won't be.

I mean, dude literally broke a leg. Can't hold that against him.

I think most QBs who are average at best would likely have a good chance to put up better stats with all the level of talent  Burrow has had. Similar to the Brock Purdy type treatment.

I don't think Burrow is as good many believe he is.

I'm not sure where one could find this information, but I'd be willing to bet that Bass has more trouble when kicking in cold weather (lets say 30 degrees or below).

For example, he missed two extra points in the perfect game. It should have been 49-17, not 47.

He shanked one last week in the cold.....he's from SC, kicked at Georgia Southern.....maybe we need a cold weather kicker?

I don't think it's because of cold weather. I think he's just not that good. Not nearly as good as many thought couple seasons ago

You are talking about the same play…the play where diggs was open for a short gainer Shakir was absolutely wide open for a td 😂. Which is why I’m telling you the throw to diggs there didn’t make a lot of sense with how well the chiefs defense responded in that second half

the throw to shakir was probably even easier than the throw to diggs tbh…there was no defender to effect the throw

No, one I'm talking about wasn't Diggs. Can't remember if it was Shikar or maybe Kincaid coming across open. I'm trying to see if I can find the particular play I'm referring to.

    Great logic Einstein.

    Apples and oranges.

Bass had two FG attempts in the game and horribly missed on one.

He practices daily in the stadium with the conditions present, and in his own words " I Misjudged my kick".

He wasn't responsible for the loss, BUT he certainly was responsible for the Bills not making it to overtime!

Yeah I don't know what's going on with him. Last week he very badly missed what usually is an automatic 27yd FG

It doesn’t make sense because shakir is wide freakin open for a td lol. Y’all are talking like it was a 50/50 jump ball type play 😂. That throw to diggs even if it was unaffected by Dawkins getting backed into josh at the last second probably gets stopped short meaning you need another big 4th down conversion then multiple other conversions to possibly do what one throw to shakir would’ve done.  ‘Keeping the drive going’ means nothing if you can’t get in the end zone and the way the flow of the game was going, it’s more likely we don’t pick up those tough short yardage plays.

That's not the play I'm talking about....I will see if I can find the ones I'm talking about. There were 2 instances (1 ended up punting, other was FG attempt I believe) that would have been a 1st down had Josh taken it
