And yet we only give up 0.6 rushing TDs per game which is good enough for 6th in the league. We give up 18.7 ppg which is also 6th in the NFL. Running defense may look bad by yardage but other than the Ravens game, it hasn't hurt us one bit.

McD is happy to let them run down the field picking up a few yards each play and then tighten up in the redzone and make them kick field goals. Then we go down and score TDs. Eventually they have to abandon the run. All the while they are just burning their own clock. Thats the way our team has been operating. Other than the Ravens game it has worked well for us.

Maybe this is just a way to get Hyde a one last hurrah. Maybe try and get the guy who was fundamental to our success a ring and then let him retire. Maybe he doesnt play and just mentors. I always get back to... its a coaches job to put the best players on the field. Once Hyde is in game shape, he is better than Hamlin. Even if Hyde lost a step, Hamlin is slow anyways. I love Hamlin and he isn't killing us but he is the weak spot.

He knew Lawrence slid or he wouldn't have gone so low to the ground to make the hit. You don't try to forearm someones legs to make a tackle. His punishment is not only for this hit. Its his trend as a dirty player too. NFL Vice President of Football Operations Jon Runyan issued the suspension and wrote in a letter: “During your game against the Jacksonville Jaguars on December 1, with 4:20 remaining in the second quarter, you were involved in a play that the League considers unacceptable and a serious violation of the playing rules. Video shows you striking the head/neck area of Jaguars’ quarterback Trevor Lawrence after he clearly goes down in a feet-first slide...You led with your forearm and helmet and delivered a forceful blow to the head/neck area of your opponent when you had time and space to avoid such contact. After the illegal hit, you proceeded to engage in a brawl, which you escalated when you pulled an opponent down to the ground by his facemask. After the referee announced that you were disqualified for the hit and your unsportsmanlike acts, you removed your helmet and reengaged with your opponent while walking down and across the field, which started another physical confrontation near the end zone. Lawrence was in a slide. He knew he was in a slide. Otherwise he wouldn't have went so low to the ground to make the hit. It was intentional.

Yeah everytime I try to do that I get all kinds of BS that come along with it that I have to clean. Whether thats pop up adds or them trying to install something or whatever. Too much hassle. We would get Denver 7th seed in the first round. Ravens would be 6th seed playing Steelers. So if we both won then KC would get Ravens in the divisional. Bills would get winner of Hou/Chargers.
