Drops and fumbles. Also as fast as Cook is, he always looks slow with the ball to me. I think he lacks initial burst or something and has to ramp his speed.
-
Thats the whole point... its cover zero and Davis is out there trying to run circles like he has all day instead of getting his head around to look for the ball. Dude has no game awareness. All he had to do was turn around and box out the defender. The ball was thrown right to where he was. Instead Gabe too busy trying to get cute. He's still running a route and the ball is pretty much intercepted before he even looked for it.
-
Josh had 78 snaps. Cook might get a couple passes. Davis might get a couple passes. So if Josh messes up a couple plays when he takes the ball 78 times vs a guy that drops 1 of a few passes for a TD or a guy that can't get his head right on a cover zero blitz or trips over his own feet... its a huge difference.

I disagree. That penalty is there for a reason. To keep players from getting concussion. No surprise, Ty has a concussion. You want to talk about ticky tack holding or PI calls, Im there with you all day as long as they are calling it equal, but head hunting I do not. Its a player safety issue. That dude is 100% getting a fine.

It absolutely was designed to go to the rb. You can watch the all 22 on it. Its clear as day.

There is but its only a few.

I'm very happy that KC has to start playing here.

Fins fans are braindead. That "victory lap" happened while Allen was taking interviews after the game. The fans were chanting MVP at the time according to Sal C. Found that in a tweet but it was from another tweet so it embeds two tweets and cuts the picture off, so I just used the picture.

Will Sherfield be better in the #2 role than Davis???
Scott7975 replied to transplantbillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall
I voted no but honestly it's close. Davis isn't that much better. We actually may be better off with Sherfield on the field though. Too many miscommunication problems between Josh and Gabe. I love Gabe as a guy I believe is a great teammate and friend to the players. I also obviously love playoff Gabe. What I don't love is his play outside of that. Too unreliable. Him and Josh have not been on the same page all season. Most of Josh turnovers are his direction. Sherfield was an unsung hero this past week and had many key blocks/picks. Obviously the whacky TD too. -

I agree. We should 100% win this game. Honestly, if we lose I would be back on the fire McD train. Pitts has a good physical team and good coaching but we have a better team and we are at home. If we lose this game then 100% it's on coaching. That said, I have no doubts we win this game. -
IIRC because we only have 8 home games we will not have to lose one and travel to London again for the Jags

Shakir is our most reliable and most explosive weapon by a country mile. Diggs is our most elite weapon, but his play has been off for half the year now.
-
Cooks drop% is nearing 10% while his avg depth of target is 2.5 yards btw. His hands have not been good over this stretch. Not even just in catches but holding the ball. He almost fumbled again this past game.
-
From a YAC/R and hands perspective he is. I'm sorry but I have to disagree here. If we can get Shakir the ball 30 yards downfield, I will take that over a dumpoff to Cook every time. Even if Cook was the most amazing ever, more often than not he is not making up those 30 yards. I do love Cook in the area you refer to but Im still taking that 30 yards every time.
-
I hear you on Diggs. Can I ask why on Cook/Kincaid? Cook has hands problems between drops and fumbles. Kincaid doesn't have anywhere near the YAC ability. I like both players and I think they are great but it seems you are basing this off draft status and not an actual production per opportunity look.
-
Shakir is our playmaker. He has the best hands on the team and the best YAC ability. By a mile. I agree with that. Make teams defend the entire field.
-
I think he is. I mean Diggs is obviously elite but this kid has sure hands and tears it up when he gets the opportunity. Other teams will have to start paying attention to him. Between him and Kincaid, other teams might have to soften coverage on Diggs. I am not trying to say he is better than Diggs. I just don't really know how to express what I mean. This kid has amazing YAC ability and hands. Yes, we still need a #2 outside to upgrade Davis. As far as slot goes, Shakir is damn good.

RIP Dylan. Such a tragedy. This crap happens too much in this world.
-
This dude is our most explosive playmaker. Shakir currently ranks 4th in the league in yards after catch per reception with a whopping 7.6. Only Kittle, Rashee Rice, and Deebo are higher than that. His expected is 4.6 which means he gets 3 more yards than he is expected to get. The next best Bill on the list is Kincaid at 4.5 yac/r expected 4.3. Shakir also leads the league in catch% at 86.7%. We need to get Shakir the ball more. He is our best offensive weapon. What a value draft pick this was.
