  1. No, they are not fine. Good thing is the Bills probably will not have to build a domed stadium. The pressure will be off to do so. https://www.forbes.com/sites/adamhartung/2017/09/29/the-nfl-has-a-bigger-problem-than-kneeling-employees-demographics-and-trends/#3cea58984efc Unfortunately, according to a recent CNN poll, while 56% of people under age 45 think the recent demonstrations are the right thing to do, 59% of those over 45 say the demonstrations are wrong. In its "core" NFL viewership folks don't like the kneeling, so it would appear the NFL should heed the President's advice. But, looking down the road, the NFL won't succeed unless it finds a way to attract a younger audience. You are the one who can not comprehend the validity of a counter argument. As I said, Cripple Creek is an appropriate screen name.
  2. Patriotism and love of country is non negotiable. It is a feeling. You either have it or you do not. The toughen up part is laughable, as in you are tough, but others are not. But it's still fine. Are you kidding? Still fine?
  3. Sears, heavyweight boxing, NASCAR, and golf all have seen better times. The NFL Rams LA and Chargers experiment might be a mistake. NFL Europe is defunct.
  4. This has nothing to do with me, it is about the reality of the NFL, and its future. BTW, Cripple Creek is a good choice for a screen name.
  5. You can't be serious. You argue even when I am wrong, I am right. The point is it is not about right or wrong, it is about money, and how people wish to spend it. Money talks and the rest walks. The NFL has a problem, and ultimately the black players themselves. Poor CK doesn't even have a job over this.
  6. John McCain has a long history. There is McCain the POW, McCain the callous husband ( http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-1024927/The-wife-John-McCain-callously-left-behind.html),and the "straight talk express" politician who was for the repeal of Obama care before he was against it. You are correct in that it is not written anywhere, but the fact that it is in a majority of American's minds is powerful enough to badly hurt the NFL.
  7. The average fan doesn't have to have a reason for anything. It is his feelings, and how he feels things are not always logical, but what is true is he can spend his money where ever he wishes. That is the rub.
  8. It is all about provoking white guilt, except that the average white guy in the stands does not feel guilty. He feels mad and disrespected by the black players who he has just paid $100 to see play. Soon the anger morphs into contempt, resentment and ultimately boycott. This supposed teaching moment backfires and only hurts the 70 plus per cent black players who make up the teams. The white owners, the Joneses and Pegulas who support them are most likely just trying to protect their investment. You don't s%$# where you eat, shoot your nose off to spite your face, or kill the golden goose.
  9. It must be like the one where players should not beat their significant other, rather than they must/shall not. Either way, the NFL is f&*^%$ because they are not enforcing their policy in the view of many, many average folk in the stands. People Sammy would call the ones with the little jobs.
  10. Both you and I do not know whether it says should or must/shall. Most likely it is the later.
  11. My hero FlamFluten Wrong. NFL regulations sat players should be present, and respectfully stand during the Anthem. In fact it was speculated whether or not those teams who did not appear for the Anthem would be fined. Further, it is a workplace, and if that regulation exists, which it is reported that it does, enforce it. The NFL is full of hypocrites.
  12. Another Hall of Fame poster speaks in favor of disrespectful behavior to the flag. Gee, wonder why. Doesn't change the fact that you have not named one 'falsehood'.
  13. It is evident that with over 57,000 posts your virtual world is here. No one owns the Flag or Constitution. To not consider disrespect to be what it is, to turn a blind eye to it has nothing to do with ownership of the country. I love football. The NFL happens to sell it, but I am an American first, and can live without the NFL.
  14. Perhaps the majority of posters here are NFL first and Nation second, perhaps like the globalist vs nationalist divide. No common ground.
  15. Anything other than standing during the Anthem is disrespectful to the nation, not unifying as some might imply. In addition it is purposely disrespectful of those US citizens who consider it to be disrespectful. It is obvious that it is meant to be an in your face show. If some people don't get that, it is a shame. It is not akin to flying the flag upside down, or half way up, it is akin to burning it. I agree with Kelly on McCoy's actions being above and beyond disrespectful. He is arrogant, and I will be surprised if the NFL is not hurt bad by this as the University of Missouri was hurt badly by its protests on its campus. The stadium is a workplace, not covered by the Bill of Rights. Not standing and being present for the Anthem is even against the NFL bylaws. Enforce your bylaws NFL. Most likely irreparable harm has already been done.
  16. But does love of country 'trump' love of the NFL? Is sitting down, kneeling, or stretching while the anthem is played not offend? Maybe it doesn't some people, but then again maybe nothing offends them because they live a virtual fantasy life.
  17. The old saying is money talks and BS walks. In the same way, winning talks, and Hughes is mostly an over paid penalty machine. I find it refreshing someone with more authority than mine says something I agree with. It gives people of my opinion a voice in a PC world be it Jim Kelly or Donald Trump.
  18. It is silly to wait that long into the season to start Peterman. He should have played the second half yesterday except it might have pissed off the Taylor loyalists. Football/sports is part of the entertainment industry, and three and outs are not entertaining. When Bledsoe was injured, BB put in Brady and never looked back. Dak Prescott is another example of a rookie that worked out famously. We all feel sorry for TT, but the Bills are too painful to watch. It is all about money, and if Brady lost it, BB would sit him, no question about it.
  19. I have followed the What the Bills Fans are saying, and my hat is off to FlamFluten aka Boyst 62, http://www.carolinahuddle.com/boards/topic/141321-what-bills-fans-are-saying/?page=20 He is hilarious, tenacious, knowledgeable, and a great representative of WNY and the Bills fan base. One of my favorite comments is "My God, it's like you're slap gum retarded boy. If you can't recognize I do that porpoisely than I don't know what to tell ewe. You're just not appreciating a good heel."

  21. It was a good trade. He was injured all the time. He is the hot sports car always in the shop. Beane was just facing reality and doing his job. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "I don’t care what’s going on over there. I don’t care if he’s open. When I get one on one, just target me." “As I watch film, I even said we need to go to (receiver Robert) Woods more – he’s open every play. But as a wide receiver, you want to get 10 targets, you want to see what you can do. You want to help your team out as much as you can. But that goes to say Woods needs 10 targets too, he needs the ball too. Clay needs the ball too." calls fans "losers" who are "working y'all little jobs for the rest of y'all lives" "We gotta get paid more I'm pretty sure 2014 class will change the market" Jan 1, 2017 NFL Pedal Foot Fracture Watkins needed a 2nd surgery to repair his injured foot. Dec 31, 2012 Non-NFL Pedal Ankle Sprain/Pull Unspecified Grade 1 The Clemson star WR was knocked out of the Chick-fil-A Bowl against LSU on the second play of the game with a sprain to his right ankle. Nov 12, 2011 Non-NFL Shoulder A/C Joint Sprain Hurt his right shoulder against Wake Forest and sat out against North Carolina State.
  22. 1. Sorry, I did not and still have not seen the original post. 2. Even IF there was editing, most quarter backs could not duplicate this video with editing. 3. Impressive Alec Tanny was a Bill for a day in 2015 and is now on his second stint with the Titans.
  23. "We need some "mad scientist" activity." You mean a brain transplant of a Peterman brain on a Jones body? "I predict that he will be the Bills starter in 2018" 2018 just might be the year Brady might be starting to slide a bit because of age.
  24. Kaepernick is a hypocrite. Now that his career is on the line, his agent announces that he will stand for the national anthem. He showed his big balls last year, but now that his maneuver has played out as most everyone thought it would, his big balls have become pebbles. He should rot on the vine.
