  1. It's still a pick in the top 64. That's better than Watkins demanding Julio Jonesctype money and watching him walk away for free. Best game he's had in years and couldn't finish it out. Say what you will but that's Sammy, imo, it always will be. Might even get worse when he gets that big time contract in his pocket.
  2. I don't know why you'd regret that. It could be true. But he's the same coordinator that put our offense in a shell after we took the lead in the Jets game and depended on a late game interception. You'll get no guff from me saying Taylor handicaps our offense. None at all, the dude shouldn't be out there. He's a backup at best, and he's playing exactly as a backup should. Limit the mistakes and hope our defense can win it for us. It's certainly no way to gameplan with your starter. and it's certainly not indicative of "unleashing" your qb.
  3. Exactly. Why isn't he starting? The offense is super predictable and bland. The offensive coordinator isn't making adjustments in the game so why should we expect that he'll make adjustments outside of it? I've felt this since week one, and especially feel it now after watching the Thursday nighter. We're going to be stuck watching an awesome defense and a vanilla run the first two downs, pass on third offense that we've seen before. It didn't work in years past and it won't work now.
  4. Nah... the backup qb nonsense is Bologna. If it was Yates no one is calling his name and everyone knows that. Psychology 101? Ok, fun agenda bud. Fact is, it's more complex than that. Starting qb stinks, and is on his way out. Peterman has shown some flashes. Expose him? To what, football? Good, the only way a qb gets better is by playing football. Not watching an inferior qb play football. Playing Taylor gets nothing accomplished. We're taking a qb in the draft. Playing Peterman at least gives us an idea of what the kid has.
  5. Bologna! A qb either has it our they don't. What qb ever needed to sit behind a lesser qb to learn? What is he learning by watching Taylor? What not to do? They have different skill sets. The only thing to help him to develop is real playing time and practicing with the ones.
  6. If Taylor's been "unleashed" I have no idea what that word means. Run into the line on first and second down with no ability to audible. Basically we're unleashing him to throw on third down when we're already in a hole and have to throw when the Defense knows we're throwing. Wow... unleashed for sure. I'll take a leashed Peterman, if that's the case.
  7. Their offense is better, our defense is better. It's that easy. 9ers don't come close to dropping 39 on us.
  8. Man, i never thought a terrible call could bother me this bad if it wasn't against the bills. They ruined this game.
  9. Awesome game. Best Thursday game I can remember in a long time and the refs ruin it. Thanks NFL.
  10. This game is showing what NFL football should look like. It's actually really making me jealous. Last Sunday was terribly boring.
  11. It's almost as if Sammy's trying to prove everyone right tonight.
  12. If people here are true fans of Sammy they should be happy for the trade. They get to watch him catch balls on downs other than 3rd. 1st and 2nd down are exclusively designated for the run on the Bills. We know this, and son do 30 defenses. Jets D didn't know.
  13. If you're making the reference I think you're making you just went from -4 to +2 in my book.
