  1. Is he upset over trumps travel ban? Just kidding... but these psycho lefties will still insist that we don't need to thoroughly vet people that come into this country. We just need to accept terrorism as a part of every day life now. We don't want to hurt anyone's feelings.

You have a better chance of getting killed by a natural-born 4th generation American than you do an immigrant. Terrorism has many forms, though looking at today's political "leadership " , you would assume it is something solely undertaken by Muslims and Muslim sympathizers from the "left". This is a sad and horrible thing, done by a vile and broken human being. However, we cannot allow for further division and dis-trust to overtake America. What a sad and broken country todays USA is. If this is"MAGA", I'd hate to thinkof what isto come.

  2. It's over 70% of Americans. Thats why protesters are being heavily booed.

And Villanueva has the highest selling jersey right now.

    Just sayin'

Well put. If anything, the protests are many viewers "last straw". I didn't get as much publicity, but Trump also complained about what many others complain about.... flags, refs, taking hitting out of the game, etc....

Let's also recognize NFLs "selective" free speech. No to breast cancer awareness, no to 9/11 remembrance, no to supporting slain police, but this is ok. If they were consistent this would not be as big an issue either.

Did you watch/ listen to Skip and Shannon yesterday? Shannon Sharpe nailed it. This is not the protest the owners want the players to think it is, it's a protest against Trump telling the owners what to do. It's a financial protest. If it were truly a protest for unity and inclusion, why wouldn't thishave happened around so many other more truly important events and controversial statements and actions by Trump. The true stupidity of this protest is that it serves solely to create even further discord and division. If the NFL WAS SMART, everyone would have stood with arms locked together, showing both solidarity and respect.
  3. That is a mischaracterization of what he said. There were many good people there who were only in attendance because they objected to the removal of the monument. They were not Nazis or KKKers. They were objecting to the erasure of our heritage. Sorta like being against book burning.

That is how you read it and not what he stated at the time, but what was placed in a follow-up press release. Trump really has zero ability to consider his statements while he's making them. You can support him all you like, and I will never comprehend how someone can, but you cannot honestly believe that he is articulate, well-spoken or considerate of his words. Should a leader of a world power not at least provide these three attributes?

  4. Yes I agree. There are an awful lot of easily offended people out there. The world is one giant safe space.

While this is very true, should we not hold the president to a higher standard than others? It seems that the standard for which America tolerates political leaders and their level of communication just fell out of the sky the day Trump was elected. You may not have liked Obama, Bush, Clinton, Bush etc., but they each were able to filter personal sentiment for the betterment of the whole.

  5. No they're not. That's just silly. But seriously, how many of us " protest" while at our workplaces? Are ballplayers somehow different?

How many of us have a national platform with which our protest can possibly bring attention to our cause? If I could start my work day once a week with an email to all of my clients explaining how I detest the president and all that he stands for, and I actually felt it would make an ounce of difference, I'd be on that. I don't like that the anthem has been chosen as the platform for this protest as there are so many things for which it stands that deserve respect, but today's America is a divided nation and so many of the NFL's players stand on the opposite side of it from the president. Having a president that openly states that a Nazi flag-carrying, gun-toting, anti-semetic chanting group of marchers has many good people in it is surely not invoking confidence in a group largely consisting of black and hispanic males.

  6. I prefer the standing buffalo on my clothes but charging buffalo for the team

Nail on the head for me. I have shirts, hats and jackets with both, but for everyday wear I am a standing Buffalo guy. Gameday is either, but often charging Buffalo jacket and shirt under jersey. Jersey is always throwback. I even rocked the OJ week 1. That was a thrift store find in the late 90's I couldn't pass up but never wore.
  7.

    @ChrisBrownBills

Jordan Matthews and Micah Hyde out to take punt return reps w/Kaelin Clay. Jones taking KR reps. Sun will be an issue. #Bills

Is it just me or does anyone else hate it when a high caliber/ much-needed rotation player takes punts or kick-offs? Can you imagine if Hyde got hurt taking a punt return? Tate and Klay are good players, but afterthoughts on the offensive side of the ball and, as such, far more expendable.

  8. Except for TE, DL, FB we aren't exactly stacked. Would be nice if the Bills had a CB on the PS, one safety who I never heard of. We can always cal up Colt Anderson or the CB we just released.

We are going to keep a lot of DLineman with their rotational scheme.

FWIW as Belichek always says you can never have enough CBs in this league, Pats have 5 CBs and 6 Safeties, so far that strategy isn't working out for them this season.

The Bills are going for quality over quantity? I like the starters and Wright is not the worst back-up in the league, but I still worry about cutting a guy like Mabin who was a solid system fit and showed a nose for the ball in the PS. Hopefully we see him on the practice squad and can call on him if someone goes down.

  9. Maybe he should be pissed at security. You can't do anything in the stands anymore. I can only scream really loudly when standing... sadly that is now banned from the stadium unless celebrating a particular play. Then it's back to your butt on a bench. Takes the fun out of it and disuades people from cheering/yelling.

They have been "changing the culture" in the stands too, to a PC, family friendly, no fun zone safe space. The atmosphere at THE RALPH has been disintegrated and subdued. Fans "wanted this" apparently, people want a sanitized environment so their kids don't hear any bad words or mean drunk people. The world is too rough for them, the delicate flowers. JMO

Gotta get everyone behaving before they put up big $ for a new stadium.

I'm kinda fired up about it, as you can probably infer.

    End rant\

This ties into the posts in regards to tailgating. If the stands are a sanitized, family friendly locale, then the party crowd, of which we have an abundance, is in no rush to get inside for the game. I've gone to Bills games in 4 decades now and the change has been remarkable in the last 5 years. Perhaps it coincided with that jackass sliding down the railing on the top deck?
  10. That A-hole is a good football coach. His team's are prepared and physical. They play to their talent level. He is the best coach that we have had in the drought. He's just an a-hole.

This has been my take on the matter as well. He quit on the team when we were seeing some improvements on key facets of the game and had the most hope for ending the drought. I don't forgive him for that or that it lead to us being subjected to two years of Rex.
