Depth loss, but I didn't see anything that makes me think we'll miss him much.

Where you gonna be? I have a buddy in Tokyo that is a fan that may have some ideas. I just got back from a few weeks in Hokkaido myself.

Osweiler cut and returns to Denver. Romo to Houston. Just prognostications -
Bills are "In" on Martellus Bennet

Our competition could be the Browns, Bears, Jags, Argonauts and Montreal Alouettes and we'd still be in tough. Man, I sometimes wish I cheered for a team in a more desirable market for free agents..... -
I see what you did there...

Fingers crossed that he is as good a fit in McD and Fraziers d as he was in Rex's....

Well, Vlad did play under Castillo, so maybe he sees something there that none of us do. The back-up G is a need and he can swing out to Tackle as well. I'm not in love with the pick-up by any means, but I do see some logic in it

Stop trying to re-sign Lorax
MiltonWaddams replied to BillsGuru4's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This is all very funny to me. I was once a solid four-figure guy (VanCity) whose password stopped working and who they never would send the damn password reset to. As such, now I look like a noob from BBMB. I hope to not get lumped in, but it has sure got more entertaining around these parts. Keep up the good work all! -
Bills tried to sign RT Ricky Wagner; headed to Lions

How does improving a position of great weakness and emulating the very successful philosophies of Dallas and Oakland make him a bad GM in this case? I would have thought people would find it refreshing to see him look at success stories around the league and try to replicate that mode of success. A little of a break from his ordinary MO -
Madness. #JohnLynchisclueless. We can already start that as a trending hashtag

One does not simply "fall off in talent "at Hughes age. He may have lost a step or lack focus or effort, but his talent is still there. I expect a resurgence under McD and Frazier. An attacking defence plays much more to his strengths. Less over-thinking, just knowing the role and acting on it

This makes a lot of sense. The hybrid FB/TE spot is something Felton doesn't factor into. Juszczyk stacks up well as a lead blocker, rusher and can catch passes from scrimmage and out of the backfield. He would be a nice addition to the O

Either there is going to be a domino effect or the league has gone on self-imposed silence. The rumours are as limited as I remember and any that are out there seem to be solely based on conjecture and throwing crap at a wall. My f5 button is getting a rest like it rarely sees on the opening days of free agency. Here's the thing with having Frazier as DC. You have to assess both systems that they worked with. They both haven't operated the very same way. Sub-packages have been seen in Leslie's last two stops in coaching and have featured in each. I have to expect McD to mesh his and Fraziers philosophies to allow Frazier to create a successful defence that he can run effectively. Just my two cents....

Chargers are in a bad way with their cap. They had only an estimated $5million to spend with a draft class that would put close to $7 million on the books. Fluker has been a bust, Stevie is coming off a major injury and can be easily replaced in this wr heavy draft class and Flowers hasn't been the CB they need nor expected when they signed him. All smart cuts. All that being said, I want none of them in a Bills uniform next season.

Mike Gillisllee - Combine News
MiltonWaddams replied to Fixxxer's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I like the sounds of a long-term deal, but 5th round tender....that's really not going to stop anyone from offering him a deal. He's a second or third round back in this draft with no character concerns. There's a lot of value in that. -
If you are gonna ride a guy's jock for a few years...it's reportedly a good indicator.... On topic...it helps. We've seen a lot of great feedback from coaches and players about Watson. We've seen his record in college. Now we've seen him show up under strong pressure and stand out amongst his peers. It's so tough to trust Whaley and, based on Watson's combine performance and the national media talking up his rising draft stock, cutting Tyrod and going with Watson in 16/17 is a hard path to follow. In large part because he may not be available at 10 and trading a second pick in addition to the existing pick at 10 is too high a cost with the cap space and required talent at multiple positions in 17/18. But, if the question is "do you like him more as a possible franchise qb?", then the answer is yes.

Cleveland Heavily After Tyrod Taylor.

I dunno...I saw how their GM fleeced the Seahawks for Bo Callahan........
